Mlg water buckets do work in beta, although they are decently inconsistent. Don’t particularly know what causes the fall damage sometimes. If I had to assume it’s just because you can place blocks slightly after the point of no return. Although water blading is the smarter option I will continue to throw my life off 50 block tall builds just to see if I can.
I'm pretty sure the reason it's so inconsistent is because if the player falls too fast the game doesn't have enough time to register that you're in water.
another technique that seems to work is to simply hold down the jump key while placing the water, it somehow negates any fall damage, having tested it in b1.7.3, it should work in older versions!
The game is 15 years old, so what the hell are you talking about. I played it first in 2nd school year, and now, after 13 years, I'm into 4th year of university, literally more than half of my life MC is out there
Yeah textures back then were far more contrasty, noisy and sharp + now everyone uses brightness maxed, while in 1.7.3 there was no way to change the brightness normally in-game and the default was what is now known as the minimum "moody" brightness setting Honestly moody brightness looks far better imo than full bright or max brightness and gives torches a purpose, nowadays they are useless because it's never truly dark and they only serve for spawnproofing
Doing a normal water bucket clutch but holding space when you land seems to work fine for me (b1.7.3), but I only tested it with small heights (6 or 7 blocks maybe)

Droopy likes your channel!
You can also MLG clutch at certain heights if you place the water on snow layers as it will place the water block at your head height

What a nice video.

Fr, that’s what I’ve been trying to tell everyone on those videos, that fake one is getting out of hand by accusing others
Wait, what happened??
Damn, this obscure internet drama situation is insane

I side with yesus on this one

That tower looks so good
Thanks Bagorilla
alright mong, what's with the bald spot on the back of your head
I mean, I've got a bald spot on my minecraft skin too. but yours is in a weird spot, it's at the middle of the back of your head. it's weird
This is ironically what i end up doing half the time in moderncraft.
Very cool, but howhow can i get my skin working in beta/alpha?
Good Video!
Or you can just hold space while falling and it will work
keep the tower i love it, u can do forest guard tower who watches for the forest!

It doesn’t work all the time. Especially higher distances
I love how he calls release versionn Minecraft "modern" as if it's fucking Tetris or smth

I blame Sonic Generations for conditioning me to call newer iterations of things "Modern"
Great Video!

Strangely enough, 1 block of water is enough to prevent fall damage, it just has to be in the player’s head instead of the player’s feet
sick
Man Beta MInecraft looks so sharp

I’ve never tried this
Tried this. Almost died. lol
@@Mongster83 Just tried doing it again. Seems that it only works with small heights. I should have tested it more before I made the comment.
