ARRIVING AT KUALA LUMPUR Airport in Malaysia - April 2022 Airport Arrival Procedure

- How to Arrive at Kuala Lumpur Airport (KLIA) in Malaysia. We have just arrived at Kuala Lumpur Airport (KUL) on an International Flight. In this Kuala Lumpur Airport video we will show you what the Arrival Procedure was for us when we arrived in April 2022 just over a week after Malaysia had once again opened up its borders to international travelers after the COVID-19 Pandemic. In this video we will show you our entire Kuala Lumpur Airport Arrival Procedure where we will include Disembarkation from our Aircraft, Walking passed an airport Covid-19 Test Center (where arriving passengers can get a Supervised RTK-AG Test) Walking to the Aerotrain, Taking the Aerotrain from the Kuala Lumpur Airport Satellite Terminal to the Main Airport Terminal. Once we arrive at the Main Airport Terminal we pass through Immigration / Passport Control (Immigration / Passport Control are not included in this video as filming is not allowed in that area), we then proceed to the Baggage Reclaim Area. After Reclaiming our Luggage we make or way to the Kuala Lumpur Airport Arrivals Area but before that we pass through Customs (not include in this airport video as filming is not allowed in that area). We then show you a little of this Airport´s Arrival Area where we drew money from an ATM Machine, purchased Malaysia SIM Cards for our Mobile Phones, showed the lift area from where one goes down to the KLIA Ekspres (the train between Kuala Lumpur Airport and Kuala Lumpur City) and purchased a pre-paid Airport Taxi which drove us into the city directly to our hotel.

just discovered this morning pre departure testing (from the UK) and antigen testing on arrival has been scrapped by Malaysia. Great move in my opinion - travel is stressful enough without several different test requirements!

Very good news indeed! Must admit that all the covid requirements did make planning for this trip we did quite stressful! As you know, Malaysia is without doubt one of our favourite Asian countries! This was in fact our 5th visit and we can assure you, despite the mask wearing etc., we still had a wonderful time there! For traveler info, RTK AG Test at airport is RM 260.
You can also do at any private clinic in town RTK AG Test at price of RM 35.
Within 24 hours upon arrival you can still have time to find clinic around city area. Welcome to Malaysia !

Hi there Lynn, lovely hearing from you! We were both so happy, to get a taste of Long-haul travel again. We had really missed the long flights, the airport transfers and then the arrival at the far away destination! The pre-purchased tests were a nuisance indeed, but we decided not to let that bother us - in the end we just ended up paying to have a test at a test center that was located opposite our hotel in KL city! We were promised a refund from the pre-purchased test but to date we have not seen it! The weekend weather was ok, Saturday was sunny but Sunday was similar to what you describe you had in the UK! We generally/often get your weather in Denmark the day after (such as the storms). Thanks as always for watching commenting and liking our videos and also for your very kind PayPal Donations which help us a lot! Next video will be one more from the airports and then we will start with the Tripreport videos - we want to bring the airport videos first (even though it does mix up the trip order) as we know that there are many travelers who have an interest to see what Arrivals, Transfers and Departures are like at the moment - particularly if they will be traveling soon. Greetings, guys! Just googled You Tube and found this video, wondering how much has changed at KLIA since my last trip with the family in 2018. We didn't go through the Aerotrain, and we came to KL through Air Asia from Manila. Considerably back then, customs clearance and all the works are seamless. Thanks for showing us the procedures at the moment in going out of the airport upon arrival.

Happy 1st May to you both! We had parents over for a traditional Finnish 01 May Lunch, that was nice! Thank you Kieron and Mags for your kind donation to our channel, we cannot repeat enough times how much it is appreciated! THANK YOU so much! Getting back to KL was amazing, we were so happy to be there, and this time the (new) hotel was fantastic. We will bring the KL Airport Departure video next and then we will start with the flight videos. Arrived yesterday from Istanbul. Couldn’t believe how seamless and easy it was. Out of the airport in less than 40 minutes and in the car to KL. Nobody so much as mentioned Covid or asked me for any evidence of status. Great!

How is it there during layover ? I am flying there with my backpack only and i have like 1 hour for layover for domestic flight.
Is it possible to finish everything there under 1 hour and board that domestic flight?
Any information are highly appreciated.
@@KuroganeX3 I’m always dubious of short layover flights. It might go fine as you have no baggage to be transferred. Good luck.

2nd tallest world skyscraper completed and many ppls mindset changed toward life after the pandemic.

Yes, we got them back in 2018 from a designer based in California (Mark Portervale) and have been so happy with them! They are always on our large luggage when we do Long-haul trips. Being back in Malaysia was an absolute pleasure and we are so happy that this was our first destination after the long pandemic!
