Way to go on notifying the water board of the deer - hikers, campers take note of this: if you see a dead animal do not touch ot but please try your best to notify the landowner, farmer or water board or local council so it can be removed hygienically and ethical. Great video Gazza

There used to be a lot of gun happy arse'oles who used to go up with high powered telescopic rifles, ya'd see 2 or 3 Range rovers parked up above Baitings res, ms B. The coppers eventually put a stop to it from the wieght of public pressure. Reluctantly, no doubt.

I’m from Michigan and literally camped all over the state with my first husband. We started before we were married and started bringing the girls when they were 3. You CANNOT comprehend the CRAZINESS that happens when you camp! Especially wild camp. I think that once we’ve become aware of certain paranormal things will begin to actually experience them. I think we become more aware of them. I think they were already there and it’s just our awareness has up-leveled and we see things that maybe we didn’t see before. If people don’t like what you share, GRiZ, that’s on them. I thoroughly enjoy your adventures and I am now living in Arizona and I’m jealous because we don’t have camping like we did back East! Say hello to my girl Fendy!!

EDIT TO ADD: A powdered oatmeal bath for Fendy might help her with the itchiness, and it's natural and safe for puppers, too (of course check w/your Vet first). When used topically, oatmeal is naturally soothing for skin irritation and itchiness. You can buy the ready-made packets, or you can use a grinder and just grind the holy heck out of a ½ cup or so of plain oats. Add the powdered oats to a tepid bath, and sit her in there for a few minutes. You can use a big plastic cup to slowly pour the oatmeal bathwater over her back, again and again. My dogs found that calming, and the treatment always gave them some relief.

I love your videos and Black Crag's too. I can not describe the sense of relaxation, happiness, freedom walking along with you and Fendy brings to my world here in Texas, USA. I forget the fact that we have creeps running the country (into the ground) because I know that they will never take from the experience of hiking through the beautiful land of my ancestors (I'm English on my dad's side). One thing is for sure man you have improved TH-cam. Some of the ridiculous content and fake videos that we see should be taken down and you never do anything like that. Also, we always have to put up with those videos and documentaries that always seem to have some lousy background music or noise included that detracts from the story. Your program is easy to watch and relaxing. I think you do a superb job and give you praise for such a good show. I like watching your interaction with your dog too which I think brings a feeling of warmth to the show.

I forgot to mention sleepytea made from lavender, lemon balm n some other herbs n flowers, it smells like old women's soap or perfume but once you've drank it a couple of times it tastes great!😂👍

As a countryside kid would be out in the hills all the day long. Would often stop for a good cold drink from a little fast flowing stream only to find a dead sheep in it 50 feet further upstream. Dont remember ever getting sick from it. If it did ever affect us I never noticed so it would have been nothing worse than a one off dose of the squits that night.
Yeah I remember as a kid drinking from all sorts and never getting ill from it! Maybe we were ill but just never put 2 & 2 together as we were young and dumb? 🤷🏼♂️🤣🤣 We had a saying, if you spit in the water and the your spit dissipates then the water is good enough to drink haha no idea where that saying came from? 🤷🏼♂️

Cheers from Australia mate. My little Dashy is allergic to grass too. Gets extremely irritated paws the poor thing. He’s 17 years old now so the medication he has daily for his arthritis helps to reduce his irritation.

@@purpleaki1277 the one I have is a training lead and can be adjusted when needed. I can also clip it on to myself so I have both hands free if needed but Fendy is a well trained dog and listens well... Except when she's itching her nips! 😝🤣
I'm old..had a hip replacement..just happy to walk without pain...I had no clue what even wild camping was until I came across you..I grew up in a rural area where my dad already knew who owned what land.. plenty of places where he knew it wasn't a problem... otherwise I don't see anything different except much better equipment..I remember don't touch the inside of a canvas tent..or just sleep on a old army cot under the stars.. heard plenty of scary sounds.. trusted my dad that nothing is out to get me..raised my own kids the same way...I really enjoy your channel because i miss going out..my son has a river rafting company in Colorado..I have 2 old cats.. refuse to travel right now..I will be able to get out again because I won't need to worry about the work or equipment.. don't even know whats all out there .. certainly sounds alot lighter

Well I watch TH-cam daily (sad, I know) and I think you are a funny, genuine guy. I just watched that video from Mick outdoors and what you did for him, shows you are genuine. That was pure kindness.

The oldest structures we have by me (Upper Michigan, above the bridge) is probably the sacred spirit houses that the tribes put their departed loved ones in to rest eternally. We do have old mine towns and ghost towns. My favorite ghost town I've been to a few times is Fayette on the Garden Peninsula. It's very beautiful out there and hilly like the Moors in this video. Also got the big turbines too. If you ever get a chance to come to the states for exploration, come to the 906, we got lots to explore. Just be prepared to see trash from disrespectful folk.

and as i always say about your dog she's is brilliant, she cracks me that belly rubbing has me in stitches every time, when you notice and say something'' its like she hears you and does it more bless her. my last dog was a Yorkshire terroir and a rescue dog bless her, and i had to have her put down last year about may time 2023 as she was getting ill with her age'' and her back legs would go on her and this would give her extreme pain with cries'' so i had to make that decision to have her put down, and it kills me even today as i miss her so much. she was amazing Gaz.
And you talking about breaking youtube lol, you have had some very strange camping locations in the past with things going on. im a paranormal investigator Gaz and iv witnessed some very strange things mate seriously lol. but camping and someone touches you while your inside your tent or standing near you while your inside your tent making strange noises or some creepy guy creeps up on you asking for a light? mate thats messed up and bloody creepy!! im more scared of the living Gaz honestly! theirs some very strange people out there Gaz and i like to stay far away from them and camping is the best way to do it lmao as FAR AWAY FROM THE LIVING AS POSSIBLE😶🌫

Cracking video Gaz. Used to spend a lot of time up there in the early 90s. Rugged terrain because it’s littered in old mine shafts hence all the rock piles. Can be scotch in places as a lot have been long forgotten about.

Your channel is great, you've not ruined anything! Let them find something else if they don't like it. The world has changed, there is a whole lot of unexplained/mysterious stuff out there that is WAY more out in the open. Our reality is shifting. And now more than at any other time in the history of humans, we have the capability to instantly record and document everything. So of course, there are going to be way more videos of these types of phenomena. Many people just don't want to believe that anything beyond the physical and the known exist out there because it scares them and it messes with their reality. But none of it is really new, all you have to do is look at the records of the ancients and indigenous people to realize that much of it has been happening for millenia! You keep doing your thing, Gaz. You've got a ton of people like me out there that love your videos. Keep it up! 😊

I think you are very good at editing your videos. Alot of the channels are terrible. I switch off if they talk to the camera all tthe way through the video. Plus we all love Fendi the slug. 🙂

Many times I’ve not been able to sleep. Here in the Arctic it’s now 24hour daylight so it just makes you more active so camping is often sleeping only when you’re really tired out. Many times I’ve packed up too after a few hours.

Definitely need to check your water before drinking. I'd heard it so many times and just thought blah, the water is flowing and clear so we're fine until one day when we came upon a beautiful stream of ice cold , clear water coming down from the hills of the peak district. We decided to walk another hundred yards upstream and found a large, decomposing sheep in the water, so we were very glad we didn't drink right away and taught me to always walk upstream aways as far as possible before taking a drink, even with a filter

The only thing that came close to "ruin", was it went by way to fast. And as a fellow insomniac, I can relate all to well to the insomniac "theatre". Loved it as usual, u and Fendi make my sunday's so much better.

Don't know if you know gaz, but you can give the dog the same antihistamines as humans take and it'll stop her itching from the grass allergy. Piritin syrup or tablets if she'll take them. Google it to double check the dosage for her weight/size, etc and what type is suitable for her. I'm sure my dog used to take loratidine and cetirizine.

Hi Gaz !! Did I c u drinking a Budweiser ??? Right on. Those wind turbines are a lot bigger than they look. How are they controlled, other than the wind. I’ve never seen one.
Just the wind. But they can be stopped manually if needed. eg if the wind is too fast and could damage them or one needs servicing etc.
