I’ve never heard of the herbal thing. Going to get one for our next travels. Popcorn is our go-to also. The hotel room is lovely. Always a great surprise to have a balcony. The views will be amazing! Really nice with the mountain being so close 😍

Hello! Yes it will be Rainy season and will rain pretty much every day for a bit. Not all day though! The North may be drier than the south

amazing journey.. one question. How you guys manage washing clothes? because hotel laundry is expensive and not all cities have laundry mat service. so i always wonder how travellers like you manage that.
Everywhere has laundry places in our experience. Just got to find them. We do laundry once a week as normal :)

I have been following your channel for some time and enjoy the content you are creating. Thailand in particular is one of my favourite countries, so I’m happy to see you are back there and sharing your travels. I appreciate the time and effort you clearly put into the creation of your content to make sure it’s at a higher level than most of what’s out there travel vlog wise. Of course, as TH-camrs, you put yourselves out there in a vulnerable way, even if what you create is curated by yourselves, there is still a level of intimacy you are sharing. I wanted to say that this is a brave thing to do and I salute you for it. As a long-time viewer, I also wanted to say, I have noticed that lately Dylan in particular seems to be quite focused on money - making sure to get a good deal on a meal or on a transportation or so. And yes, of course staying within your budget is an important aspect of travelling. But I have noticed this tendency and perhaps slight obsession amongst other vloggers as well, to really hone in on the financial aspect. Although I wouldn’t say you should ignore it, I think there is something to say about shifting the focus to the experience itself instead of just how much it costs. Especially in a country where food and transportation are so affordable. I actually quite like knowing the price of activities, food, etc as a viewer. But when I see that the experience itself seems again and again negatively impacted by how much it costs (even when it is relatively speaking extremely affordable), it makes me wonder what is the real motivation behind having these experiences? If you cannot enjoy it unless you feel you are at the advantageous side of the deal, perhaps it’s worth meditating on that and asking yourself what makes you happy in life and why. Life is too short for one’s happiness to be at the mercy of ‘the best deal’. It’s an observation, not really a criticism, and hopefully gives you a little food for thought. Thank you for sharing yourselves with us.

Your comment on the focus on pricing in our videos really gives us something to think about. Discussing costs has always been a natural part of my commentary-it’s not something I consciously decide to emphasise, it just happens to be a habit of mine even in regular life (off camera). Sometimes, mentioning our opinion on the price also serves as a talking point to keep the video engaging. We’ve noticed that if we don’t mention our opinion, some viewers might assume that we’re indifferent to prices due to a high budget, which isn't the case. It seems there’s no perfect balance!
You also made a great point about the perception of affordability. While certain expenses might seem low, as full-time travellers who are on the road 365 days a year, our budgeting needs are quite different from someone who may be on a short vacation. Every expense adds up differently for us, which is something that might not be immediately obvious in the casual viewing of our vlogs.

Your point regarding it being hard to perfectly balance between giving your opinion and seeming indifferent is understandable. It is surely impossible to please everyone here. But I guess that’s not really the point after all either. You are sharing your experience with the public and are therefore offering yourselves up for open judgment, like anyone in the public eye. And that means there are a million possible opinions to be made about what you do and how you do it. Regarding affordability being relative, that is certainly true and a good point.
