back in the 60,s I got a dutch made small wheel bicycle with a take apart frame(about where this one hinges). it had a 2 speed coaster brake and was called a HI LO. it was a great bike.

That was a fun demo from you Dana. I've never tried an electric bike and probably never will. I do ride a conventional bike 3 or 4 days a week for fitness and errands and at 75 I still enjoy it immensely. Hope you enjoyed your ice cream on the way back to Biker Stuff HQ.

Dana,the refolding of the bike was almost a revelation to behold 😂,the airflow was also a test on your ride that many an engineer would have loved😂

I worry about pot holes and would always wear gloves and a cycle helmet, heard so many Ev fires that would worry me but thanks

Congratulations on getting a new toy dana . It is a sweet bike . For compariaon this can be compared with a moped if you want . A great gift for some one you care . And a very nice grocery getter if a cute basket is added to the baxk rack. Also it is an executive style good looking machine made priceless by your precious touch .

Lovely ! btw Dana, a while back We were asked to Guess Your Shoe Size. I Answered "6" ... the Miisunderstanding was, that a US - 6 is the Equivalent to a UK 5
I am UK 4. Of course America has to have its own sizes. I've also read that over there men's and women's sizes are different to each other. What all that about?

Please take a piece of friendly advice from a former cycling coach, when you corner left lift your left pedal and when you corner right lift your right pedal.
If your pedal hits the ground (and yours were really close) the back wheel will lift and you will crash.

You didn't do much pedaling ! My ebike only assists when pedaling. I converted my bike to ebike with a Bafang kit - you should do a conversion on your channel.

Does it has a throttle, or just one speed? You seemed to be riding it 'on the brakes'. The folding aspect is very neat, I have never seen folding pedals before.
Yes it has a throttle. You can have assisted pedaling, throttle or pedals and throttle. It is very easy to ride.
Half of my ride was downhill and the second half was uphill.

Off road riding is a great way to learn. But no clutch may be more of a setback. It's hard to say

I'll be very careful with small electric vehicles what battery type does it have? If it's lithium phosphate it's okay if it's lithium iron I would keep away from it

Crap range for an electric bike, plus it should be pedal assist only to be legal on British roads. Weight capacity isn't good either. I had a Raleigh modus for a month. 60 mile range, brilliant bike. I'm going to convert my existing hybrid bike with a Yose kit off eBay for less than half the price of a purpose built bike.
Is the throttle legal to use in UK? In Germany you can't have it as it would qualify as a moped then.
The supplier told me it is UK legal. I know the 250w is, but I don't know about the throttle.

How long did it take to.charge and can you still peddle after 18miles
Once the battery is flat it still works as a regular bike. I put the battery on charge and left it overnight. I believe from flat it needs 4 hours.

That is the English channel. I live on the south coast of England. The manufacturer is saying the battery life is 5 years. I think this is a standard on these type of batteries.
