You can walk from the Balcon, down this street, Carabeo, all the way to Burriana beach where there are super restaurants. It's a beautiful walk but there are steps, so be aware. Looking to go back again in November. I live near Valencia but I am hoping to move to Nerja at some point. I just fell in love with it. You are so enthusiastic that I feel as though I am there 😊. Really great video of Nerja again Kevin. It's my favourite place in Spain by far. I keep going back. The queue for Little Italy restaurant is because of the prices. The food is fine, not bad but also nothing special, but their prices are incredibly affordable

This is by far the prettiest place you’ve been to. It comes out on film so good. I have been to Nerja but it was at Christmas. Go on Kevin treat Ann for a beautiful romantic holiday in Nerja. Thanks Kevin.

Out of all of the Costa del Sol Nerja would be my favourite. Never been but, now on my wish list. Amazed how everyone looked nicely dressed for their night out. Makes a change from baggy shorts and vests especially if you are in a quality restaurant.

Theres a lovely little view point before you get to the main beach..it has steps down to the beach but you'd walk past it if you didn't know it was there. Also in the large gated house on the left coming from the square is a lovely golden labrador called Rooney.. that house by the way is apartments for rental with roof top views.

That car park you ended up in is where the Fair is in October Kevin. It’s quite a big thing.💕Away at the other end there’s a couple of Irish bars, near the Tutti Frutti square. A Scottish couple had the card and book shop near Portofino. It was called Smiths. Don’t know if it’s still there.

Little Italy where people queue against the wall opposite the restaurant is excellent. Couple of years back we had starters and main course, pasta and drinks for under 20 euros. Worth the wait, even if it was a little strange
Wall to wall tourists very little original Spain to be found. Good for a holiday! Not so much for those of us that live full-time in Spain. Enjoy!

If you had carried on past Bacchus you will have seen the Hotel Paradore which has views better than the Balcon de Europa.

Benidorm much bigger , nerja best beach I was told 15 mins walk from balcon but not that big .

I travel.solo.on occassions and this is definitely a place in spain id visit, very Spanish, if you get me. Dont gwt me wring, two weeks and im away to benidorm, but good to have a mixture.

Bakus is the finest restaurant in Nerja. If you want to go eat there, you need to book.
That Indian restaurant "Taste of India" is the best in Nerja, I know this as I had a superb Tandoori in there..Highly recommended 😋

You could have gone straight through the car park.....Brings you back right into the centre of town......Just follow the crowds..
We visited last 2 wks in august. The Irish bar was opened but no music as they dont have a music license. We didn't hear music anywhere. Maybe late night clubs have it but we're a bit old for clubbing.. We were told that the mayor banned music. Seems it cost £1000 for a music license and you probably wouldnt be approved but you then don't get a refund. It was the only thing we didn't like about Nerja.
Yip Anne only place I seen was Fitzgeralds and I think they are having a hard time with the mayor fines , if bar is sound proofed I don't see why it's an issue they have a nightclub lol
It's the lack of British style pubs etc. in the main town that attracts us back to Nerja time and again. No happy hours or BOGOF booze deals.
Bars without endless Sky Sports on satelitte, an abscence of sleeveless tops and football jerseys etc.
What's not to like ?
