Thank you Tim. Just ordered this watch based on your excellent review. I also wear a Time Ironman but find it is not cuff friendly during the winter (long sleeve) months. This watch seems to have similar easy to read digits. Thanks again.
I bought this about a year ago and I love the crisp and large display. Just when I felt that I’ve outgrown these inexpensive Casios after acquiring many G-Shocks and Edifices, you’ve made me take out my humble W96H out of the watch case, wear it and appreciate its display !
Super legible, proper easy to hit buttons, and good size. Would be nice if they nixed the year on the display, moved the day of the week down, and made the time bigger. Still, the legibility is better than 99% of other Casios. Love the review Tim!
Seems like a super solid little reliable piece of kit! You are right they have a super similar module! Might even be the same! I think its light is awesome and 50m of wwater resistance is more than enough for most dudes even though they would not like to admit it. I like they greyman, I think it still takes it for me but this is close. They also come in some funky colorways! You and me both bro. This last week was challenging to say the least. We should catch up in the new year after we have both hopefully rested some! Take care and stay awesome man! Isaiah 40:31: "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint".
Helpful review. For me, the greyman is the watch I wear when I don't want to wear a watch. It's so light comfortable robust and under the radar that I don't realize I'm wearing it yet so practical to read the full date and time. This newer watch seems more like a standard watch with the increased size. I noticed it had the screws for the rubber strap.
When I put in my Casio W-800h I love it and wonder why I need the 6 g-shocks and the 18 other watches I have. Thanks for this. I am adding this to my Christmas list. 😁
Great video as usual Tim! I’m always curious about what you would think about the Casio AW-80, it’s packed with functions and some of the colour schemes are very outdoor-looking. You should give it a try and let us know! Keep up the great job, greetings from a fan in Spain!
This is a pretty good alternative if you don’t like the design of the W-800 retro look but want the features/functions. Only 50m Water Resistance and non proprietary straps are why I chose to keep my W-800h and sell the W-96h. (I also prefer the more retro look of the W-800h too) But even with those slight downsides, I think the W-96h is still a good watch, especially if you get it for around £20 or less Thank you for the review 👍🏻
Great rent, this is one of the only Casios that I wore to fail , maybe 10 years ago , amazing watch and looks really great . One downside of this style is that the paint comes off on the corners quite fast with daily wear, that’s why I try to stay with Casios that have coloured plastic vs paint . Thanks again
Excellent point on the silver coating. It will wear. Although I like that look. It’s like the patina that forms on a bronze cased automatic watch. It’s character.
I really like this watch. I bought my first one in silver first a few years ago and have since purchased two more of them to my collection with the orange colour and also one with the blue case. All are accurate but out of them all the silver one is the least accurate of them but isn't a big deal for me. As regards the F91 I haven't purchased one because it is too small and the light is really bad. I opted for the 158 instead and have two of those and they are great watches imo and so much better than the 156. Thanks for your review.
It's so nice that someone other than me thinks the F-91W is rubbish. Every watch TH-camr praises this watch in golden hymns, and I sit in front of the screen shaking my head every time. :-) I too appreciate the provenance and the legend, and I had it as a teenager (it's long gone), but would never buy another one.
I have gone through several F-91W's. And I stopped buying them. Usually, the strap breaks in 2 years or so. (And replacing them is a pita, as there are no springbars.) And the backlight is rediculously bad.
I had this many years ago when i was young. i wore it until the strap broke, which says something. But then this strap is special, so i never got it replaced.
I’m impressed by this watch. I think it’s a sleeper for size and features…and yea, I’ll be trying the hack in this watch to hopefully expose the timer function.
@Realidealgear I just recently picked up this watch. For £10 it's great. I can just wear it and forget about it. The 50m water resistance is awrsome...I've had a few casios in the past. Back in the early 90s I had the databank one. Not the one with the sticky out buttons. It would need a password too get in, and stored telephone numbers, had world time, etc.. still looks sleek today. Good video man.. there a nice edifice one Iike which has been discontinued. Compass, analogue and digital. They where ahead of Thier time.

You’re very welcome! Have a great week.

Awesome ideas. I’d add the numbers being a bit more bold would help too. Have a great day!
@ Agreed! Have a great day Tim!

Live the verse. Thanks for sharing. Stay in His presence. We should catch up sooner than that…in my humble opinion! Take care my brother!
@@Realidealgear We will have to see how it goes man! Have a great weekend Bro!

I like the look of the W96 and its lower profile. If I’m going for toughness, it’s the Greyman! Have a great week!
I'm wearing the Timex easy reader today, how do you like that one? Super legible, super light with indiglo. Only weakness is splash proof and noisy.
When I put in my Casio W-800h I love it and wonder why I need the 6 g-shocks and the 18 other watches I have. Thanks for this. I am adding this to my Christmas list. 😁
It's a great addition to anyone's Casio vault! Have a great weekend my friend!
Very cool. Thanks for showing it us!
Us:“Tim, how many Casios do you have?”
Tim:“Yes.” Pulls out 13 Gallon Kitchen Bag…
"Yes" .......... haha

Noticed your Two Sun as well in picture. I collect knives as well as Casios
Love Two Sun...Great Value!!
Hope everything is well.
Thank you for your concern. Working through a separation from my beautiful and loving wife. God is front and center for me. Your prayers are welcomed.

Thanks for sharing. Have a great Sunday!
You've settled it for me, the w96 is £10 here in the UK on sale ,,,,start the car 😄
I’m impressed by this watch. I think it’s a sleeper for size and features…and yea, I’ll be trying the hack in this watch to hopefully expose the timer function.
Interesting, I saw the video on that. Yeah this watch is a banger . especially in the UK for the money.@@Realidealgear
Try the Casio A178 😉
It’s on the list.
“The stupid F91”. 😂😂😂 Nice watch (the new one). NEVER too many watches. 😉
No love between me and the F91. It’s a great emotional release.
The only problem I see with this model is, won't the silver painted area scratch down to the black plastic underneath ?
Probably...I like the look of a worn watch...except for dress mechanical watches...those need to maintain a pristine look.
what is that chronograph?
Hruodland.
good
Appreciate you watching!
I just bought one because of you.
I hate you, and I thank you. 😂
I feel the love behind the 'hate' hahaha. Have a great weekend.
1 day ago. Nice
Nice

GOOD WATCH AND UK ARGOS SELLING NEW FOR 10£ !
That’s a deal.
looks quite old fashioned and just not stylish at all
It is retro looking for sure. Have a great weekend.
On its own its a certain kind of retro, but on Tim's wrist it's the bee's knees.
But the nore old fashioned the more stylish it is
