This is one of the songs that played during my daughter's final hours on earth. She was not quite 4 years old and had brain cancer. We also listened to Homeward Bound by Vocal Point, among other songs. You cannot imagine how deep these songs reach into my soul every time i listen. Miss you, my angel Rachel. 😢
Thank you for honoring them, as they honor and worship the Savior, with this video!! I loved this one as well!!
Beautiful rendition
I'm so glad that you enjoyed this.
This is so beautiful one of my favorite arrangements of these very talented women.
When I finally left my husband of 39 years I was totally broken. This song blessed me and lifted me up. It saved me from deep despair as The abuse was so profound and long. This song represented me as a young girl coming back out and free.
Any one who has ever waded in the Provo River can attest to how cold it is year round. They did great to sing at all. We know that this is a studio over recording but great job.
Also, I have been enjoying your reaction videos now for a couple of months and I am glad I found your channel. Many of the songs you have reacted to I am familiar with. These songs are definitely blessings to me also. Thank you for all that you do to get these great songs out there. God bless you!
They are the female counterpart to Vocal Point. They often do numbers together as well but this video was ladies only. I could also recommend the greatest showman by vocal point/Noteworthy. It’s more secular in nature but it is fantastic! I love your reactions as they remind me of the Spirit I have felt when discovering these performances.
AMAZING
I do believe that the 'instruments' are produced via voice. Like their male acapella counterparts, Vocal Point, part of their skill set are the 'instrumental' sounds
So beautiful!!
A capella
Still think the tab choir's future is safe?😊
This is an a capella group so all the sounds are from the performers, not musical instruments etc
Again, I encourage a review of "Bound for the Promised Land" (th-cam.com/video/yJR3k3duqnI/w-d-xo.html). In the tradition of the movie "Sister Act", the words mean something different in a sacred context. The exuberance grows from restrained to incredible, very moving. The performance deserves an award for sound mixing, too, listen for how the instrumental 'solos' stand out, throughout, and there's even an interlude where the orchestra gets to shine for itself. Magnificent. This arrangement by Dr. WIlberg is so good that other choirs have adopted it. Listen for the emotional effective seesaw in the volumes between men's and women's voices. You won't be disappointed. It's another facet of the Choir's excellence.
I love that song!!!! BYU dancers did a costumed number to this. I wish I could find it again. I looked and looked for it but couldn’t
@@catheenmason I also could not find a costumed version; it might have been part of a Pioneer Day or Thanksgiving concert, if that helps your search. Meanwhile, there's a magnificent BYU combined-choirs version at th-cam.com/video/t5VP_TQCLfs/w-d-xo.html, and a BYU cafeteria flash-mob version at th-cam.com/video/I1a2jYgZxII/w-d-xo.html.
@@MarkGardner-w5h oh Mark thank you for these links! The singing is so profound. I can hardly believe they are so young and their voices are incredible. The stage is the same stage they danced on when I saw it. Maybe it was a thanksgiving concert. You may be right. I sure wish they archived it. I’ll never forget it and to this day when I hear that song I can see the pilgrims dance.
Please react to, December Song by Peter Hollens. It is so beautiful. It is an original Christmas song that he wrote. It is really for more than just Christmas time, it is a song about keeping the spirit of Christmas or Christ with us all year. Please react to it. Thank you in advance.
