Infosys had rejected a person I know in the HR round, and when the HR was contacted, they said that this degree is not valid as regular Mtech. Please give your thoughts on this.
what's the point of doing a degree that won't allow you to sit in campus placement? and yes, the recruiter asked for Wilp to be mentioned in your resume. so, you are somehow doing a useless degree. Ask yourself do you really want to gain some knowledge from m.tech or do you just want a bits brand tag to show on social media? Also, if you want a tag, then it's better to take a gate exam and then drop out from iit college.
That was my query thanks for clearing it but the fact some youtubers who are placed in tcs are saying that tcs doesn't support this type of degree due to there words they also if someone has done opted for wipro programme then only wipro is going to work with the employees and their expression of speech is creating misconception in the mind of viewers so i hope you are right and considering you as strong truth and guide my fellow friends thankyou

After completion of btech wilp when we go to any company with 3 years of earlier experience and wilp btech degree and what if the company clarifies that we are working offline in some other city and at the same time we are pursuing wilp btech which is not considered as online education but in reality we are attending all the classes online. So as we are attending our lectures online will the degree be considered as online degree?

Dear All. I don't think BITS WILP provides campus placement facility. WILP is for working professionals. Why would they need campus placement? Also why would their existing company provide NOC if their employee would leave them after completing the course. In fact many companies sponsor WILP as a retention tool. By the way, I completed M.Tech through BITS WILP & we were provided no such campus placement facility. We got membership to alumni portal/ network/ group just like many other colleges have theirs. As far as I remember, alumni post job openings there.
Plz reply, If a bca graduate working in tcs wants to do this degree then switch in other Service-based MNCs on certain roles/position where they ask for both experience and degree as btech/mtech/mca in eligibility criteria in their job description (& not accept online/part time/distance degree) will consider this BITS wilp Mtech degree as valid...?
I have around 19years experience in the Market Research Industry, in which I did programming Surveys and now into people management in the same industry. Have good knowledge in Market Research data & basic analysis (regression, correlation etc) techniques. Now I seriously want to change my career path from Market Research into Data Science / AI, because it does not have more growth opportunities. My core interest is in Programming and I am M.Sc. Computer science graduate. Having such huge experience in the Market Research Industry, will this course help me to start my career in Data Science / AI. Professional certifications are valued much more than MTech. Can't compare MSc and MCA to this. MTech is the most useless post graduation course. A large part of this course from BITS Pilani is repetition of what you learnt in BTech. You don't learn much of relevance here.

I had filled skills section as: 1) AI/ML 2) Cloud 3) Java Full Stack I wanted to know if selected for WILP then are they going to train me in my preferred skills or just allot me on projects. They asked my preference skills in the enrollment letter which I received on March 2. I was filled with testing , python, and sap but some of my friends didn't receive the preference skills section in their enrollment letter. They are 2022 batches.

Am I eligible for all the master's colleges across the world if I hold WILP bachelor's degree?
Sir bits has started online computer science course I was thinking going for it. But my concern is shall it be recognized globally or not
Suppose I get selected in WILP and 2 years passed. Now I am in 3rd yr of MTech and I have to choose some elective modules. SO will I have the independence to choose any module of my choice or will wipro put a constraint for me to choose only the electives they deem useful for their business requirements?
There is a fix program and syllabus is available on BITS Pilani portal under WILP category.
