The lore on him said he was Geralt's equal, he just stuck to the Code and stayed out of politics. They displayed that well, here. Could almost go for a spin-off based on his character.
This video didn't show it. But hjalmar has this cool ass part where he jumps out one of the white frost portals and says something like "it's colder in skellige" and I just thought that was one of the most badass things cause no one can live through the white frost and he jumped into a fucking portal of it

Geralt's face when he sees that Vesemir has died is heartbreaking. And as much as I don't like Yen, her running to intercept Geralt before he sees his dead mentor made me realize that for all her attitude she does care for Geralt

vesemir fought eredin and imelrith for mere moments and succeeded in injuring them both. I imagine this would of ended badly for them if not for him saving ciri

Not really, he Just basically pushed Imlerith on the Ground, and Eredin had Ciri in His other arm, So it was harder for him to fight. He didn't really Defeated them.

@@PolishGod1234 it kinda does. If he didnt have to save Ciri, he would just stab him in the neck, or just finish hime since Imlerith was just lying on the ground for a pretty decent time. He needed every second to prevent Eredin from dragging Ciri into the portal. Once again, he hurt Eredin and if ir wasn't for Imlerith going nearby Ciri, he had to use aars to puwh her away so Imlerith doesnt grab her/ or toss Vesemir away so Eredin can take Ciri again. I believe that Vesemir could have killed both of them in 2v1, or at least one of them, but his top priority was and always have been Cirilla.
Vesemir did a good job, he knocked Imrileth down and hurt Eredin single handed while protected Ciri at the same time. Shame he didn't use any sings like Geralt to defend himself from that choke, but he had been pretty bad punished by those punches already.
Used a sign just before to puch Ciri away too.

Bruh, when Ciri loses her shit when Vesimir dies.... I felt it... Everytime I play through or watch this sequence, it's insane. This game will go down in history... Well done CD project red, well done. I'm glad I was alive to experience this masterpiece.

Nabu26 Lambert can actually die in the battle if Keira is not there and you do nothing to save him or you go to help him but take too long in doing so.
He survived for me without Keira being there, since I killed her :(

@@xLetalis hey there’s actually a secret ally in vellen a Witcher by the name of letho to get him is to progress do the fall of house reardon when you get to the homestead a new quest will appear requiring you to search the barn and that begins the process of getting letho to go to kaer morhen it’s a pretty cool quest with some nifty details regarding the fall of house reardon as well

The most BADASS elves in all of fantasy. They aren't some dainty little freaks that live in mushroom, these assholes are huge, armor plated in creepy ass skeletal armor, monsters riding the frost. They're like if White Walkers had a kid with a bunch of elves. Love it!

I played this for the first time today, without full crew. RIP Vesemir, but this was the perfect death. Dying in defence of your granddaughter, tipping the scales in victory for your son. He died the death of a witcher and a father, I think no one else can boast that achievement. No one deserves the earth to be light more than him.
One of my favorite moments in this game is having all these amazing characters in one place..
My biggest problem is that THIS SHOULD BE THE CLIMAX OF THE GAME! Which is why i barely return to replaying main story.
FUN FACT: It should be shorter if Geralt knew the words Wild Hunt is afraid of.
I love that Vesemir gets the upper hand on both Caranthir and Eredin back to back. Old guy's still got it.

For those asking about Letho, his appearance is dependent on several choices. In The Witcher 2, you'll have to spare his life. In The Witcher 3, you'll meet him in Velen while doing a contract. Basically you'll have to foil his plan and then suggest he take refuge at Kaer Morhen.

As others have said you don’t have to ruin his plan. Just let the bandits take him down but let them live, and tell them to take his medallion instead of his head. The world thinks he’s dead and he’s alive in Kaer Morhen. His plan works and he’s in one of the safest places in the witcher world.

This thing bothered me most during my walktrought. Everything is perfect, even the voice actors. But sometimes they are out of breath when they should not and other times they are completely calm in terrible situations, other times they just have one sentence yelled out in a calm dialog during a supposedly stealth quest.

Eskel is a total badass. I'm more of a Cat school guy as far as gear, but I've taken to using the Wolf school gear so I can look more like Eskel (and match Ciri's alt outfit)

Just Watch - I freed him and apparently he was there for me. I only actually found out because I saw his character profile update and read that he died at KM. Didn’t notice him around though.
Only missing Letho. While being groomed at the Emperor's palace, you just tell the general that Letho is alive and you'll find him eventually.
Complete his quests, save him at the end and tell him to head for Kaer Morhen.

Letho won't be there if you killed him in Witcher 2. The default mode, that is if you decide to not emulate Witcher 2 save, is that Letho is dead.
I'm aware of that, but I was talking about the title of the video which is misleading when these two characters are missing.

There is a Full Crew trophy that you have to get specific allies and I think that's what he meant I don't know if it'd change anything if you gathered more than the Full Crew thing requires

Was looking for this comment. I just got to this part last night (I know late to the party). But the scene really captures the combat skills and intelligence of Gerald and Lambert. But also slightly shows that they wouldn't be able to keep it up much longer without Triss' help. CDPR did such a great job conveying the tide of the battle of both sides equally and showing their strengths.
All these years, and this is still the best mission I've ever played in any game.
This battle would have defeated Wild Hunt in this scenarii
1. They got more Witchers
2. They got more Wizards
3. Geralt recruited Frenchies to defend the wall.
Anyone know what Geralt meant when he said he overlooked something important? I finished his part of the game already and this never came up. what was it?

Looking back I love and hated this event, love all the emotional moments but hated the fact I went from level 23 (when I arrived with Ciri to level 29 when she and I killed Witches and Illerith) in like 3 hours; I felt cheated out of game time.

I allways keep Keira Metz alive so I don`t have to worry about Lambert plus they are a great couple allso in my play I made Ciri a witcher Cerys ruled Skellige
This was the epic fight in Computer games history.
After more than 1400 hours on my switch and, with 31 years old, I've cried so much for that... Remember some familiar, friends... But this, this is absolutely more than a video-game, just, I've felt so vulnerable watching one of the most epic scenes in my favourite game.
