Great Video. Thank you. Reading a Yealink PDF file (over 500 pages), it offers immense tweaking and settings. But a simple question. Can also "Gigaset" phone models be connected to this Yealink base station (e.g. Gigaset C430HX)? Or does most of the options be not possible by other brand phones?
While the Yealink W60P is clearly targeted at more sophisticated business customers. Please try to avoid mixing pro and consumer gear, it will most likely only give you headaches.
While the base station is wall mountable and supports power over ethernet, the charging cradles have a USB cable at the back. Your best bet is to put them on a small shelf.

hey mate, I've got 2 yealink handsets, my problem is when I'm on the line with handset one and someone else tries calling me, handset 2 does not ring??
I have just opened the set from Telkom. I was also supplied with a sim card - where does the sim card go - I can't find anywhere on the phone or base station? Please help?

Hi, I want to start like a small VOIP calling office, simply people might be able to call to countries supported by the provider. My concern is how can I monetize the business, meaning the accounting part, can I have it pre-paid or post paid system. Thanks.
Login to your Yealink VoIP phone via the web interface and go to the "Account" section. Depending on your provider the data may have to be entered differently. In the case of Sonetel follow this example ➜ sonetel.com/en/help/help-topics/sip/what-sip-phones-can-i-connect-to-sonetel/how-can-i-connect-a-yealink-phone/ I had some issues in the beginning as well, e.g. it is easy to mix up some settings. Make sure to enable "outbound proxy" and also enter the "STUN server".
All set, however I must play the other half on hold and resume the call for both of us to hear? Very odd. Not so much of a big issue but then hold music doesn't play again once placed on hold again.
