Just got our upgraded T54W VOIP phones from our provider today. Looks cool and I love that it is Wi-Fi capable. I think you answered the question that I had about the "No Service" issue I can't get rid of. Sounds like I'm going to have to call my provider to let them know I received the phones so they can do their magic from their end. Great video, and great information. Thanks man.
Hi! Thanks for the detailed tutorial. I just have a question, can I just connect to my Wi-Fi directly? Like, do I need to have VoIP providers/etc or just directly connect it to my Wi-Fi then I can already call anywhere? Thanks!
My problem is that my wifi includes characters that are not allowable (as far as I can tell), like the % sign. Any way I can work around this without changing my password to not include that?
Has anyone tried using a Generic WIfi adaptor in a YeaLink t48S or similar phone? Do we HAVE to purchase the Yealink specific WF40 or Yealink WF50 device?

we have a new Yealink 54 phone but we can not hear the ring on the headset? is there a setting we need to change to get the ring in the headset?
What number do you get if you connect to internet how does it work do we have to pay monthly or just buy the phone and connect to internet?
