Yes YES YES!!!! More info please. I appreciate what you’ve accomplished and your willingness to share. I would love to know how long your journey took as well as the financials. Thank you
thank you for being so inspirational. i would love to learn the difference between selling on different platforms, as well as about the growth of your business. this is all such valuable information and i look forward to your advice! also, you should never feel bad about crying. it shows how much you care and are grateful. it’s beautiful ❤️
Love this video. It is so helpful when women in business are open and authentic. I am very interested in the numbers; initial investment for product, licensing, marketing, fulfillment, profit margins, if and when you are able to pay yourself. I want to know all the things. It was so touching how grateful you are to have this business. I have an equal but opposite reaction when thinking about going to work each day. I am hoping to turn that around. I look forward to future videos like this one. 10:40
You are such an inspiration! Thanks for sharing your experiences and really, your journey through it all. I really enjoy listening to this video. Dying yarn sounds very tedious, props to you for starting this business. Definitely would love to see more videos from you. Hoping you have continuous success👍.
Thank you for putting this video out there. I deeply appreciate positive examples to look to. I needed to see this. All the best to you and great success ahead for you and your business! Nice to have found your channel through this video, and lovely to meet you. I am at the beginning of making plans. Will keep in touch as my business name will not be this you tube handle. Take great care! Jennifer
Hi! I came across your video while I was looking up knitting business ideas for myself. I love your story and your yarn colors! Your story is such an inspiration for me because I’m also an Asian knitter (Filipino) and I want to start my own yarn/knitting store. I learned so much from this video. I hope that you’re able to make a video on Etsy vs Shopify because I’d be interested to see it. Congratulations on your success!
You are too sweet. This comment brought a tear to my eye. I adore that you found inspiration in my video. This motivates me to make the Etsy vs. Shopify video sooner. Sending you positive vibes. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me on instagram @lavenderfiberco
Love this video and how open you are! Thank you so much for sharing. I would love to learn more about your numbers/growth. Also, can you link the TH-camrs you talked about in the video? I didn't see them in the description box.
Hi! Thank you for sharing your story. I can relate 1000%. I recently started my indie fibre dyeing company too (almost a year ago). My question is about growth. One of the most challenging things is exposure. How did (do) you navigate getting your name out there? Thank you! :)
I’m actually trying to do tufting rug business in my country but it’s so hard finding good yarn in different colors. So hard and nearly non existent unless I order online from other countries. I think I wanna start dying my own yarn 😩
Hi Amanda! I am so glad I stumbled on your video! I’ve dyed a couple skeins of yarn and am now contemplating starting a business. What would be your top 3 suggestions as far as experimenting with the actual dyeing process before starting a business? For example, should I be testing each dye on a sample of various yarns in various solutions?
Absolutely test on different bases, yarn bases all dye differently. My top three suggestions would be. 1. Make what you love. 2. Believe in yourself and know that you have just as much potential to make it in the yarn dyeing world just as anybody else. and finally 3. Practice, practice, and practice...I've seen the top dyers that have been in this business 5+ years still making mistakes. I want to end this with saying, I am honored you asked me for my advice. Good luck to you and send me some pictures of your works of art on my instagram @lavenderfiberco
Wait.. is this the Pinkmacprincess? 🙉 I used to follow all of your Frappuccino recepies back in the day and watch the videos again when I'm having one. 🫶🏽🥹
