    The title should be "I've conditioned my children to eat nothing but fast food". If you want your children to change, just STOP buying garbage food. One family their son ate nothing but chocolate, and chips and chocolate yogurt and he was 8. Parents need to learn how to say NO.

      I know kids that would starve if they didn't get the food they want. A fed child is a fed child

    • @amandab8433
      @amandab8433 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@tauruscommunist9532 According to years of medical research, unless there is an underlying mental or physical issue children will not starve themselves. A well fed child is a lot different than just a fed child. From day one what you feed your child does not only have an effect on their growth, but also their gut biome, and the continued growth of their brains.

    • @tauruscommunist9532

      @@amandab8433 I'm not an idiot? I'm just saying fed is best.
      "Years of medical research", literally the first page of Google, it's common sense. But being neurodivergent is increasingly common, and lots of kids are just fussy.
      At the end of the day as long as your child is fed it's better than not being fed, obviously a balanced diet is best but that's not achievable for everyone

    I cant not believe that those idiots are letting a 18 month old baby rule their life like that. HE IS A BABY!!! I have never seen people scared to parent their kids before. If he throws a fit and refuses to eat then you let him know that he eats what is in front of him or he gets nothing. And stop putting so much food on his plate at once, put a small portion of each food on his plate that way its not so overwhelming, and stop making such a big deal about everything while he is at the table. Put the plate in front of him, give him a fork or spoon tell him to eat it and then just sit there and have a conversation about your day or whatever. The less attention you make the less fit your kid is going to have.

    Terrible. I love takeaways, but god I feel sick and bloated after eating one. I couldn’t imagine not only regularly eating one myself, but inflicting that on my children. I would seriously do some tough love and if they don’t want to eat healthy, then they don’t eat at all. Once true hunger kicks in, believe me, they will eat anything.

    • @glorialedesma4987

      Why even introduce it in the first place at an extremely young age. My son didn't eat fast food, soda, etc but began to become a picky eater by age 3. The House rule is if you don't like it then you don't eat. He is 15 and loves food and the only thing he doesn't like to eat are tomatoes. My other two children also love food. Real home-cooked food and their bodies cannot tolerate processed high sugar products since they didn't grow up having those choices at arm's length. It breaks my heart to see adults behave in this manner. Can't imagine how the kids will turn out during their teenage years.

    These parents are lazy!!! If you start teaching them as a baby to eat good food and food that you fix at home then you don't have to worry about them eating fast food and junk!!! There's nothing wrong with going out to eat once in awhile as a treat, but giving your baby 6 cans of soda a day is child abuse. I can't imagine how bad that child feels especially when his sugar crashes and he doesn't understand what is going on. All of these kids are very unhealthy, and every single one of these parents should be charged with child neglect. Its absolutely disgusting that they have let their children suffer and have to have someone tell them how to properly feed their children. Thats why some people should have to take a iq test before they are allowed to have kids.

    These parents gotta realize these kids are not going to starve to death. Same like pet dogs who try to hold out on dinner hoping they will get humans left over foods.
    Also they need to to put that baby in a high or low chair and poor food on tray. Give small bits at time. He will probably then start throwing pieces on floor like my 16month old nephew but when they pic those pieces up they start putting them in their mouth. And eating it. Bc again, they wont starve.

    Here in America, fast food is a major problem. I'm most certain it contributed to my horrible diagnosis of Microscopic Collagenous Colitis at 46. I ate healthy too, but the greasy foods mixed with stress and menopause made for the perfect storm. I now eat gluten and dairy free and am contained to chicken, fish, rice, very few well-cooked veggies and fruits. I loved all food, but the symptoms from my disease put a stop to that. I am glad these families are getting help.

Kam ta civilizace až zašla s tou rozezranosti. Za války by člověk děkoval za vodu a kurku a tady se vedou kroužky které mají motivovat k lásce k zelenině. So when the parents imply pears are yucky or act like they are waiting for one take- away day a week because so and so took away all the "good food," the babes pick up on all of that. It is not just what we offer but how we offer it. I struggle getting my son to eat healthy, so I wish them good luck. @@MissGracieLove you can make your own in a blender at home. For example fresh orange juice with strawberries or mango. You can add some other fruits and then a cup of water. Its naturally sweet juice and taste good too, you can even sneak in veggies. No added sugars.

    A baby drinking 6 cans a day? Until my kids were 10 or so they didn’t have fizzy drinks more than a few times a year - it’s so bad for their teeth. As the got older and started going to friends houses or out more they had it a few times a week. That poor baby will lose all his teeth and they’re putting salt on his food!!! None of my kids under 18 are allowed extra salt as there is already way more than you need in food. Also if kids get hungry enough they will eat.

    • @Outnumberedbykidsandcats

    Regardless of how unhealthy and terrifying this is, I feel like it’s important to not waste energy on blaming and shaming these parents because they have seen the error in the ways and want to change. And when things are this bad I feel like a slower approach may work better than going cold turkey. Although I guess that maybe having the junk as an option it’s a constant reminder of what they would rather be eating causing confusion and frustration. Gosh I probably have no idea what I am talking about lol

    • @shez5964
      @shez5964 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm not sure if a slow approach or cold turkey is better except for the cola. That should definetely be cold turkey. Babies, toddlers and small children should only drink plain water and plain milk. Unfortuanately there are some parents that fall for the belief fruit drinks are a good option. They're not! They're just as bad as fizzy drinks.
