Another great example is the feral cats of Australia.
Due to low competition, the cats upon being introduced to Australia uptil now have not only become a large threat to the native species, but also larger as a result of having many choices of prey being available (not all of them but still). It's estimated that about a million birds are killed by feral cats in Australia *per day* and with how much appetizing their diet has become, they've managed to increase sizes to the point where some individuals (males mostly) can appear to reach sizes of small dingos and even had people believing that there were panthers living in the wild due to some sightings when in reality, they were just larger black feral cats.

Please see my previous videos on feral cats in Australia and you would know why I omitted them from this video.

Oh wait I remember seeing that video!
Thought this was a different channel 😅 It was how I even got to know about the panther rumors😅
Anyways yeah I find that to be understandeble and I can definitely see why that (and the Antarctica one which I also look forward to see sometime) had it's own different video.

The crazy thing is the reports of panthers, while 99%+ pure fabrication or ignorance (like any channel with alien big cats, bigfeets, extinct thylacines) there exists the miniscule finite possibility some Toerag with ego has actually smuggled one as an exotic pet status symbol. The idea Black (always BLACK) panthers are breeding in the wilds of Britain, Australia, NZ etc. isn't viable: a leopard makes its presence known in distinctive ways even if not seen & are easy to detect using modern technology. But every channel attracts many deluded cult followers who seen to truly believe they have seen these figments. Given half the US believe Trump is a suitable leader, Darwin's idea of human superiority due to evolutionary intelligence is seriously questionable, & invasive pets are a minor existential threat compared to the egos of those unfit to breed.

Does anybody have any book suggestions on Ecology or the like.
I just finished this book called INTRODUCTION TO PHYSIOLOGICAL PSYCHOLOGY by RICHARD F. THOMPSON
It was a bit on the weirder side of science.
