Yeah I feel like that’s true, especially with what we see in other wastelands. For instance Moria Brown can transition into a ghoul in FO3, but she still sounds the exact same. Maybe the voice is just something that comes with age.
Jason Mewes really does put his heart into his roles. Fun fact he got so nervous because working with professionals in Dogma, he memorized the entire script (Kevin Smith used to have an issue with getting him to remember his cues).
I came back to watch this again because honestly love the choice for "No,you first" between you n the raider,such a hilarious comedy scene right there.Honestly surprised the raider kept going rather than get annoyed n start shooting.
I like how they explain why people came back to West Virginia instead of just bringing NPCS in the game and saying there's people now go do quests. They made it make sense with the lore.
I think Duchess was saying that this the intersection of these two roads was a popular spot a hundred years ago, not that the bombs dropped a hundred years ago.

I booted up 76 after months and months of hiatus. I feel like a newbie because alot has changed. Found the overseer first and then started this quest. I took care of Ian and told the overseer. She was grateful but sad. I adore Mort. I actually laughed at his tapes. Headmaster Mort lol. I'm keen to start this quest. Already been taking care of raiders.

When I played the story and found the hornwright doctor. It made me realize that in our current world if ghouls existed we would effectively have a genuine gerontocracy. Ghouls are immune to almost any sickness, radiation and live for hundreds if not thousands of years, with near impeccable memory. That would be good for maintaining stable economies, governments and technological evolution, example think of where we would be now today if people like tesla never died
I wish they gave a way for you to play as a ghoul in fallout... Could just be as simple as if you get too irradiated you start becoming one, if you don't heal it in time you fully become one.. Once you are one it would change the game due to obviously then being immune to radiation, but to counter that it could be you take additional damage from ballistic/meelee weapons. To mitigate the immunity to radiation it could be made that although you are immune if you continue absorbing rads and reach the max you become feral and therefore game over.. It would just be a cool mechanic I think, and would just be quite fun to do a ghoul play though
