I’m a nurse (although not in labor and delivery or maternity.) Here in the US, parents paying $3000 - even with insurance coverage! - would be considered “cheap.” A natural vaginal delivery can cost up to $20,000… with insurance covering about 50-60% of that. And that’s at a “regular hospital” with “no frill services.” Fancier hospitals can be $30,000 or more…. which may not be covered by insurance, unless you have a “premium plan” with them.
I paid 2500 with my first here in the US and I had insurance and a shared postpartum room. With my second it was 1700 with different insurance and had a private room and the hospital was much nicer. It’s crazy the cost and difference of services.

I know this is the most cliche thing to say to a pregnant woman, but Vika you are literally glowing. You look so happy and are absolutely gorgeous in this video!
I totally agree with you not wanting to vlog the birth. It is such a beautiful moment for the family and doesn’t need to be shared. Also, every person is different. Some get pregnant right away while others it will take months or even a year or two. Here in the US, swaddling is used just for sleeping. It is used to soothe the baby since they tend to jerk while they sleep. It depends on the baby. Some babies feel more secure swaddled and some don’t like being swaddled (like Agatha). Just do what you think your baby needs. You will know better than anyone what she will need.
Thank you for setting limits as to how much you wish to share with us, your fans. You are allowed to have a life outside TH-cam, and we do not have to be a part of every single moment. You are more than welcome to say I do not want to share that and we should respect that. But, I am so glad you are still doing well. Tolya was so sweet!
I had 2 girls too and I agree delivery is a private moment. I remember my mother in law wanted to be in the room for baby girl number 1 and I gave a clear and inequivocal NO!
Your husband reminds me of my Father. He also was a very sensitive and kind , sweet man - who was frequently engaging strangers in conversations like he had known them forever.
Lovely to see you, Vika! I hope you and your family are doing well ☺️ possible name suggestions for you - Amelia, Catharina, Hazel, Abigail. Sometimes the right name for your baby just comes to you when you don’t expect it, or when you see baby for the first time, you know what will suit her ❤️
What a wonderful Q&A. Thank you. So beautiful to see the love you and your husband have for each other. Reminds me of my late husband and I. He was 10 years older than me. So, I agreed to have children sooner and closer together than I wanted. Thank goodness I did as they are my little pieces of him. Love from Australia xx

Thank you for sharing, Vika! Your honesty is so refreshing. No worries at all. I love your hairstyle...Consider keeping it that length and cut. It is absolutely adorable! I consider you one of my coolest friends.
Yes, trauma to the low back and sciatica/tailbone area can be very painful, and impact symptoms during pregnancy and delivery. Many years ago I worked for a medical office with two excellent chiropractors. Many women chose to seek their conservative chiro care throughout their otherwise healthy pregnancies, to minimize symptoms along the way. You look great and seem to be feeling well. I wish all good things for you and your family.

You look wonderful! I wish I had carried my children with such grace. My first daughter is named Daria (I love Russian names) and we chose Minerva for her sister. Agatha is a sweet name and I'm sure you will find a complementary name for her sister that is equally lovely.
@@chiaralinnea4335 Aw, thanks for noticing. It's my real name and we decided to choose Minerva because it's the Roman equivalent to Athena. I call her my "Mini Me" (she goes by Mini).
Daria and Minerva are beautiful names!! Our daughter's name is Agata, and I'm pregnant again..might think about those.. We usually "let the baby decide" meaning we don't look for a name and wait for some divine inspiration.
For some reason, the name Vivian came to mind when you were talking about names. I know you will land on the perfect name as a family! You might be amused to hear that my husband overheard me listening to your video about pregnancy while I was doing chores around the house and got a bit worried since we don’t plan to have children. I had to reassure him that I was watching this type of content because I care about you and your family, not because I secretly want to get pregnant LOL!

It’s so interesting to hear about home birth in other countries because my mother was a midwife and I was there for so many births. In America it’s healthier and cheaper to do home birth because hospitals are just a mess at least in the state I live in right now. Hardly anyone can afford insurance in the states or healthcare so it rough.
Children are a great blessing from God. I have 3 grown daughters and would do it all over again if I could. Miss those young years when they were growing up. Congratulations to you and your family.
Agnessa or Adelaida would compliment Agata fairly well I think. I'm sure you'll find the perfect name for your new baby girl. I never had much interest in kids either other than my own. As long as you love yours that's what counts. Best wishes!
One thing I would add, (not sure how different Georgian and Russian is. (Can ask wife but serving customer at moment). Cause giving birth in Georgia but register at Russian Embassy, need to think of translation between both as well. (Talking from experience between Arabic and English)

@@Telegrm-t_OnlyPwr Did you just really compare cosleeping with someone's sex life 😳🙄. What an idiot. Also, race has nothing to do with it so you can just pop that little chip right off that shoulder.
Careful, your bigotry is showing.
Thank you for the update! It really amazes me that with everything you guys have been through in the last 2 months, leaving Russia, living in Uzbekistan, and moving to Georgia, you look so well and you're positive attitudes really shine through as well as your faith. I pray everything continues to go well for you guys and the little baby girl you're expecting. God bless 🙏 🙂
Before I found out we were having a little boy I was thinking about Cecilia (patron saint of music) and Katerina is cute.
Love Katerina!
I heard that a popular book in the USA is called "What to Expect When You are Expecting"
Congrats Vika!! We just had our second daughter one week ago! Thanks for keeping us informed of your journey!!
Sometimes the right name for your baby just comes to you when you don’t expect it, or when you see baby for the first time, you know what will suit her ❤️
You look so beautiful, you are glowing! Everything is going to be fine with your pregnancy, you are so relaxed. It is so nice to see you.
So wonderful, you are creating a great family. You look great! Stay healthy and enjoy this time in your life. Thanks for sharing. Congratulations!!
Love love LOVE that moment when you are looking for the word “embassy“! Such perfect editing! You are a true artist!
Congratulations! I’m so excited to see you grow and Develop through your pregnancy 😊❤️
Happy things are seeming to go well for you , many of us see you as a sister , cousin , so please excuse if we tend to worry. Praying for your safe delivery, the health of all of your family. Peace , security and health are in our prayers for you all.
nice and true
Yes after watching her so long she feels like my far away cousin :)
Your family is so sweet. I’m so glad you are happy and healthy.
Thank you for sharing, Vika! Your honesty is so refreshing. No worries at all. I love your hairstyle...Consider keeping it that length and cut. It is absolutely adorable! Don't worry about your tailbone. I broke mine when I was in my 20's, and it took about 2 months to heal and another month to quit aching sometimes. Please continue to keep us updated. I consider you one of my coolest friends.
I was surprised to learn you have not had a lot of experience with babies. You’re such a wonderful mother!!
Vika, it great to see you feeling so well and happy. You have a beautiful family and I’m sure you’ll all do wonderfully with the entire process. I wish you all continued health and happiness.💕
You look wonderful! I wish I had carried my children with such grace. My first daughter is named Daria (I love Russian names) and we chose Minerva for her sister. Agatha is a sweet name and I'm sure you will find a complementary name for her sister that is equally lovely.
I love how Minerva is the equivalent to your (user-)name! Beautiful choice
Lovely to see everything is going well. Love and peace to you all xx
I really love how chill your vibe is and how much you explain in detail what it’s like because I’ve always wondered about pregnancy so this is really helpful! Most TH-camrs don’t go far into detail but I’m glad you share so much! 😊 All the best to you guys!
In high school I knew a girl Agnes who had a twin sister Agatha. I think those names sound good together :)
That interruption was the cutest thing. 🤍
Congratulations on the baby. Beautiful family!
Agnessa or Adelaida would compliment Agata fairly well I think. I'm sure you'll find the perfect name for your new baby girl. I never had much interest in kids either other than my own. As long as you love yours that's what counts. Best wishes!
OMG that's exactly what I was going to comment, the name Agnessa. It's such a beautiful name.
@@annamariaayyad2891 Agnessa is a beautiful name but the pronunciation is too close to that of Agatha.
@@Elizabeth-aka-Pippi I see, maybe you are right. I pray God blesses this beautiful family.
One thing I would add, (not sure how different Georgian and Russian is. (Can ask wife but serving customer at moment). Cause giving birth in Georgia but register at Russian Embassy, need to think of translation between both as well. (Talking from experience between Arabic and English)
:0 Agnessa is so pretty. Never hear it before
Viki, Do not feel pressured to do any type of birth vlog, enjoy that precious time privately. When they brought the flowers to you it was absolutely adorable! Always wishing the best for you and your family.❤
You LOOK wonderful! So glad you are feeling good! Thank you for answering all the questions, and I don't blame you for not wanting to vlog the birth!
This hair length really suits you!and black shirt too ;)
Hello! My name was supposed to be Agatha, but my mom ended up choosing Bianca. My daughter's name is Victoria. Maybe you should pick Bianca 😂
great idea lol
Yes . Omg that would be a cute name.
In Russian there is the word pianka which sounds similar to Bianca and it means booze-up 😅 for russian speaking people it would be a strange name
Here's some name ideas...1).Amanda.2)Amelia 3)Athena 4)Aurora 5)Amber 6)Aletha 7)Alayna. I have 2 girls and I named then both with A names..😁 My sons name is Jacob..no A for him..lol. You look happy and healthy so that is awesome🥰 I love seeing how you guys live, it's just so interesting to see how people live all around the world. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us😁✌💖
Thank you for an interesting interview...I think you have a wonderful common sense about your pregnancy and birth..So glad you are feeling well and smart not to worry about weight..just healthy eating. Many Blessings and yes you do have the sweetest, cutest husband ever🤗👩🦳🕊️✝️🙏💖
The names I’ve seen people put that I think go well with Agatha are: Adelaide, Hazel, Augusta, and Odette. I also like Genevieve and Iris.
Iris is pretty or even Ivy.
Thank you for telling us all about your pregnancy. I have 4 boys and always loved the names Faith or Hope for girls. In Australia there is no cost for our public hospitals to have a baby. If you choose to have private doctor there is a cost.
It’s so good to hear your news. I understand why you don’t want to vlog about your birthing process. You have some very good indicators about your pregnant! I hope you continue to have a healthy pregnancy! I’m glad you and your family are settled. Sending love! 💞
You’re literally glowing omg 😍 I really love your hair length right now, it suits you so well! 😍😍 sosososo pretty!
Greetings from Berlin ✨
i love the names Polina, Irina, Irisa, Vera, Alina and Clara for you! 🌼🌙 loved this video xx
I love Alina
Thank you for talking about how not everyone gets pregnant straight away! ❤️ It took me nine months to get pregnant with my first too. I read somewhere that it's normal for it to take up to a year to get pregnant
You are absolutely glowing! So happy for you!
Love your channel, I don’t normally comment because I’m so busy but I love your little family❤❤❤ God Bless you and your little family🙏🏼❤️✝️💟
I could listen to you talk all day long.
I have the same feeling in my stomach when I'm beginning being pregnant too. So happy for you and hope that you feel safe and not stressed during this pregnancy.
My grandmother's name was Isabela Mathilda. Isa or Bella is more common today; but, Mathilda is very uncommon and rarely heard anymore. Thank you for the update. Nice to see you and your family and safe. God Bless.
Im Germany Mathilda is a very popular name
Agatha and *Annabel* has a nice ring to it :))
You look lovely - happy and healthy. Thanks for the updates your husband is very sweet 💚💚
You are adorable & I'm so glad you're able to relax more with this pregnancy. Thank you for sharing your experience, thoughts & feelings. I think you should ask Agatha what the baby's name should be!
I’m so happy that I found your channel. I love to listen to you. Wish all the best to you and your family ❤️
Hair has grown - so cute!
Victoria, having a baby is such a blessing. I will suggest one girl’s name from the Bible. The name is Bethany. I’ve always loved it.
Awww your husband is so sweet with the flowers 🥰🌸
Hi Vicky, your descriptions of " knowing you are pregnant " are so beautiful and very personal. You are very brave to share your feelings. It will help other young women so much. Bravo to you sweetheart. Love to you all. Xxxx
Thanks Vika for doing this Q & A! I loved it! 💖💖 And yes your skin is glowing 🌟☀️⭐️🌼🌞 and you look radiant!!!! 🥰😍🤩💕💖
Completely unrelated to the video but Vika you look SO good with this length of hair 😍
You and your family are so sweet.
Love that you have names to choose! We love Tatiana,Sabrina and Olivia. ❤️Loving your videos as always and sending best wishes
Never clicked on a video so fast 💕
Me either
You look amazing. Your husband child and yourself are wonderful. I am so happy to experience your wonderful journey. Thank you so much.
So sweet when your husband brought you flowers! I like that you are so candid with your answers to questions. Pregnancy and the choice to have children and when is so different for everyone . But you look radiant and so happy and relaxed which is so good considering all that has come about in your life so far this year. I totally agree with your decision not to vlog your birthing. That to me is very personal and belongs to just you and your husband.
the technical way to say it is "free at the point of service" -> "healthcare is free at the point of service."
Congratulations on the new baby. Beautiful family!
You and your family are so precious. I really wish you all the best! Rhode last weeks were so stressful, I hope the last months will be calmer so that you can bei healthy and prepared🥰 also I'm sure you will find a fitting name for the little baby girl
I had a plan……no kids. I wanted to be a great AUNT. Then I got pregnant, WITH TWINS. THEN 3 BABY, THEN 4TH BABY, THEN 5TH BABY…….AND YES 6TH BABY. AND I never got to be an aunt. Life. Throws curve balls.
That's intense lol. I also never wanted children and ended up with two🤣 and one after the other. They are 17 months apart.
Another beautiful video from a wise young lady. You have a marvelous outlook on life and seem quite smart in all the ways necessary. You and Tolya make a beautiful couple and have faith in each other to do what you think best. Always be careful and stay safe!
In the UK it is very common to give birth at home and you are actively encouraged to if you are having a straightforward and healthy pregnancy. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Really? I'm from the UK and don't know anyone who has had a homebirth.
@@rreid3689 in the south west of England, where I live, are the highest rates of home birth in the UK. Perhaps your area has a low rate.
One Russian girl name I like a lot is Irina but I'm sure you'll pick the best name for your little girl ❤
Odette would be an incredible name too
Irina is very very pretty. I think the pronunciation of Svetlana is pretty but not sure if the name Svetlana has a good/bad history or stereotypes or anything. I remember there was a Svetlana on MTV's The Real World (many years ago)! and I thought her name was so pretty.
You and your family are so sweet🥰🥰 Wish you all the best❤❤
😂 I like the relaxed shark sitting on your couch!
I Love watching your journey. Blessings to you and your beauty family. So excited to see Agatha as a big sister, it’s such an exciting time!
I am so excited for you and your husband. Congratulations! Such a sweet guy to bring you flowers. You have a beautiful family
Hi! I wish you an easy breezy rest of pregnancy and delivery! I have been watching you right from the start of your channel and I am happy for you like for a good friend 🥰🥰 Btw I am an older sister, with a two and a half year-age gap, and we were fighting A LOT as kids but now as adults me and my younger sister are much closer! I especially value having a sister as our parents are getting older. Thank you for sharing and as always take care! We will all be here waiting to meet the new babe!🐥
Stay well and you look great!!! Glowing in fact! Love to you and your family.♥️🙏🏻♥️
Aw I remember watching when Agatha was little and now she'll have a sister! So happy for you and your family! 💛
