I reached out to her, letting her know it might be good to be low-key and take a step back. Arlene did have a lot going on, and she was fighting her own battle.
Rest peacefully Narlee, I often struggle with my own conflicting emotions, demons of my own, and depression, and thoughts of suicide. I often raise a deeper awareness on various societal subjects, and among other things through my art, and video projects. What happened, happened it stays in the past. It's horrible to see how the darker aspects of human nature spins this into a web of drama, and other bullshit. You are enough, continue to be who you are and embrace it. As should we all as human beings. When I heard of her passing I thought god that is unfortunate. She had an entire future ahead for her, I come from a particular place of blackness rising from nothingness to this point so I understand how it feels.

I’m a psychologist. I could never draw any conclusion about anyone’s mental illnesses by watching them on TH-cam (Arlene and Ritchie included), so I have to say it’s so irresponsible to loosely assign clinical labels (e.g. every liar is a sociopath, every ego-maniac is a narcissist) that are not substantiated. And you cannot correlate the home visit and Narlee’s suicide. No psychologist or law enforcement officer or anyone with professional credibility would ever make such a ridiculous assertion. Her decision was hers alone, though her illnesses (whatever they were) were not her fault.

It's not rude. I just had a friend commit suicide a couple months ago. Things where going in the right direction things where coming back together but he still went through with it. His child and girlfriend in the next room. Everyone wants to say 'I could have I should have" when there is nothing anyone could have done. When someone truly makes the decision to go through with something like that it's their choice and it's never just one thing. You can't make sense out of nonsense and it's truly unfortunate that for some it feels like the only way.

Despite not condoning your past actions (I won't get into them since it's irrelevant to my comment), it's obvious to me that her death has traumatized you. Not, in the traditional sense of really knowing someone and caring for them, and feeling the grief of a loved one's passing, but feeling like somehow you could have prevented her death and saved her. I don't think you feel responsible for her suicide, but you have taken on her idolization of you partial responsibility for saving her. Logically, you know that's untrue, emotionally, you're still in that place. If you're not responsible for her death (and you're correct, you aren't), then there is no way you could have prevented her death or saved her. Her reasons for suicide did not revolve around you, so there was no way you could have prevented it. Even if you were kind to her, even if you had welcomed her into your home (which I have no doubt that you were nice as much as you could be, under the circumstances), she would have still committed suicide. Even if you got to know her well and somehow forged a friendship with her, she would have committed suicide. Until you understand that, both logically and emotionally, you're going to suffer from your thoughts all your life. That's not a healthy way to live, and I do hope that you can find some peace with her passing.
Narlee had very bad experiences with mental hospitals in her childhood that haunted her. And because of her illness, and maybe bad circumstances, one of her daughters had been taken away from her, and she could't get her back although she tried and I understood this was a big grief to her. So I think her passing was more related to that.

I remember when it all went down. I remember her friend's video about it and even she as her close friend didn't blame you at all. You were just a tiny branch in her huge tree of pain and sorrow. If she really committed suicide either due to visiting you, or your video regarding it, or even teasing from others who watched the videos she would have ended her life in closer proximity to those events. She made a video of her visiting his place & posted it on her channel. After the incident her dad was pretty cool. He took her to Disneyland & they had a great time. So the video does have a happy ending. The climax of it was her reaction about how she felt after she came to his house. It was sad, but you could tell it was someone that suffered from mental illness & I did feel bad for her watching that part of her video. I reached out to her, letting her know it might be good to be low-key and take a step back. Arlene did have a lot going on, and she was fighting her own battle.

I often raise a deeper awareness on various societal subjects, and among other things through my art, and video projects. What happened, happened it stays in the past. It's horrible to see how the darker aspects of human nature spins this into a web of drama, and other bullshit.
You are enough, continue to be who you are and embrace it. As should we all as human beings. When I heard of her passing I thought god that is unfortunate. She had an entire future ahead for her, I come from a particular place of blackness rising from nothingness to this point so I understand how it feels.

I could never draw any conclusion about anyone’s mental illnesses by watching them on TH-cam (Arlene and Ritchie included), so I have to say it’s so irresponsible to loosely assign clinical labels (e.g. every liar is a sociopath, every ego-maniac is a narcissist) that are not substantiated. And you cannot correlate the home visit and Narlee’s suicide. No psychologist or law enforcement officer or anyone with professional credibility would ever make such a ridiculous assertion. Her decision was hers alone, though her illnesses (whatever they were) were not her fault.

When someone truly makes the decision to go through with something like that it's their choice and it's never just one thing. Even if you got to know her well and somehow forged a friendship with her, she would have committed suicide. Until you understand that, both logically and emotionally, you're going to suffer from your thoughts all your life. That's not a healthy way to live, and I do hope that you can find some peace with her passing.
Narlee had very bad experiences with mental hospitals in her childhood that haunted her.
And because of her illness, and maybe bad circumstances, one of her daughters had been taken away from her, and she could't get her back although she tried and I understood this was a big grief to her.
So I think her passing was more related to that.

I didn't follow this story when it happened, but how did his fans know that it was Narlee who went to his house? Did he say her name/channel?
She made a video of her visiting his place & posted it on her channel. After the incident her dad was pretty cool. He took her to Disneyland & they had a great time. So the video does have a happy ending. The climax of it was her reaction about how she felt after she came to his house. It was sad, but you could tell it was someone that suffered from mental illness & I did feel bad for her watching that part of her video. Was glad it ended with her dad taking her to Disneyland though. To answer your question though, that is how people found out it was her. She was a TH-camr as well with her own platform & had fans that watched her vblogs. She touched on other subjects too on her channel I saw last night. I did agree with her that 8 year olds shouldn't walk home alone in this day & age. So besides the stuff about Social Repose she had other videos that touched on other subjects. I feel bad for her, she had a lot going on. 😔
