Mine works about 50% of the time. It’s so frustrating that I don’t bother anymore. Having said that the sim I bought doesn’t work with it so I’ve been using it without a sim which works as I say about half the time. If I use the sim out of my phone it works but I need that sim in my phone obviously. I wish it was more reliable because when it works it’s fantastic. I can swap between Waze and Tesla maps having them both running at the same time which I love. Then the added carplay apps I use are great. It’s a shame

Try converting your phone to esim and use physical sim in adapter
I can’t find Wi-Fi on my screen. I connected to Bluetooth and it shows autokit. But no CarPlay screen pops up.
HI . You may know if you can install other apps on this carlinkit for tesla . I got stuck with only the apps that are installed. Is it possible to make a video about the list of all the apps that can be installed? Thank you!
Check out my other video about the Ownice Tesla adapter. There isn’t much you can do when adding other apps on this device
You’ll be fine. It’s not a hacking device. It’s just an adapter.
When I plug the USB-C cable into my 2022 MYP ports in the console I don’t get power. Is there something I need to do?
Try a charging cable to see if that port gives powe5r anyway? Sigh...
What phone are you running? I'm on a iPhone 14 Pro w/ public beta 16.6 and all I get is a blank black screen when I go to the web page

I have no problems connecting but the lag makes all nav apps unusable. Not sure whether that's a carlinkit problem or a wireless carplay one. Is it just happening for me!?

No, but it would only work with a sim card
In fact, we now have a T2C 3.0 in the United States that does not need the SIM card version. If you are interested, you can wait. It will be sold at the end of January

How safe is this? Is my personal information accessible? Could this cause damage to my car? I just had it delivered but worried this this may even void my warranty.
It's just like using CarPlay in any other automobile. Your iPhone controls the apps and data. This box just allows the interface to be displayed through the Tesla's browser. If you don't want to use it, just unplug the box from the car USB port and close the browser.

You can get it from your service provider. You can get a new one or get a clone sim
Latest firmware update has resolved the lagginess.Much faster now.

It is not a good idea to pair bluetooth to the device and the device to your Tesla. This would introduce noticeable lag when answering phone calls while driving as the audio would now need to go through your phone to adapter device and adapter device to Tesla speakers. I would be curious to know if you have noticed a lag. I think the better setup is to only use carplay from this device to Tesla and directly pair your phone to Tesla via bluetooth.
Terrible product. I was able to get it to work the first time on setup. Since then it’s been one problem after another. Don’t waste your money.

You can't drive a Tesla with web browser open for this to work. So this makes it pointless IMO.
You can, at least on my model 3 the browser works while driving and also the video in motion works with this device
@@MinistryReviewsSchaz if you can why didn't you showed it in your video?? I think you can't drive because as soon as you hit the drive the web browser disappears

The browser remains open when you drive. At least it does here in america
It depends on your country - some require the browser to be disabled when in drive.
