The reason why I clicked on this link was because something similar happened to me in 1994 on Isle of Skye. I was visiting Scotland with my husband and girls at the time and I was driving the car. The scenery was beautiful, heavy woods on the driver side and open space to the left. As I was driving by I saw a smallish human form standing next to the trees to my right, about 50 yards away. It was about 4 1/2 feet tall and of stocky build. It had on brown clothing, possible a deerskin. It all happened so fast, probably 2 seconds but unmistakeable.

My mother grew up in the West Indies. She's always told me how she would peer out of the backyard door, at the sane time every day to watch a family of very little people walk by. She said they walked in a straight line (each following behind the other), Father, mother, one child & then the second. She said they wore wide brimmed straw hats. As she got older she stopped seeing them. Shes in her 80's & can still vividly recall them

The folklore doesn't always match people's true encounters like your mother's experience which is truly a great treasure to know. I wonder if the rest of the family had stories too. Wish I'd asked the elder members of my own family while I still could!
I saw a sasquatch in a remote Scottish valley (Glen Affric) in August 2021. It isn't my first encounter with other worldly beings, but it was totally unexpected as they mostly are.

This story reminds of the time I was on holiday in Cornwall many years ago now. My friend and I had rented a holiday cottage that was situated up a lonely country lane. One night we had been out in the nearby town and were walking back to the cottage. It was well after midnight and dark, we were chatting away and laughing about the night we just had when out of the corner of my eye, I saw a light, a sort of glowing light very high up in a tree to my left. I glanced over and saw a man that I can only describe as a Robin Hood figure dressed in green. He was standing very casually on a branch with one arm outstretched high with his hand resting on the tree trunk. His other arm was bent with hand on waist. One of his legs was crossed over the other - a very casual stance. I remember his hat as it was perched to one side of his head, jauntily I thought. He had wavy hair about collar length. I locked eyes with him and he gave me a beautiful smile and I smiled back. I remember thinking there was some activity way down the tree on ground level and I quickly looked down but there was nothing. My friend and I carried on walking (which all these years later I cannot understand how we were almost unfazed by it) I said to my friend "did you see that" and she said yes. I have never forgotten him and now I am older I feel very privileged to have seen him and honoured it happened to me. What I cannot understand now is how clearly I saw him as he was so high up, and saw his smile & his eyes as I now think it would be physically impossible to see him so close up as the tree was quite away inside the woodland. A work colleague experienced something similar within the Peak District, sometime around 2007-2008. I'll call him Richard as I've not been in touch either him since 2010 so I don't know if he'd want his true name mentioned. So, one afternoon in early Sumner, Richard had to do a Long drive from Nottinghamshire towards Glossop, which was deep within Derbyshire. The company which we both worked for was a Back into Employment business. We helped long term unemployed people get training, find work etc. The company had the jcp contracts for Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire- so we were often stretched like elastic bands with our work loads. The guy on a work placement in Glossop needed to be given a review, to make sure he was happy, getting on alright etc. Richard went out there , through and along some very beautiful scenery within the high peaks. On his way back later that afternoon something ran across the road in front of his van. It was small, had arms and legs and was very animated as it dashed over the road. Once over the road it became lost in undergrowth. The sighting scared him and his journey back was filled with him trying to explain it away as a sheep of goat. But as he told me, they don't have feet and quenched fists. He described it as looking like a small child whites, pale colouring, wasn't sure if it had fur or whether that was part of its clothing. It head had no hair but appeared humanoid in shape. We both later speculated that it could have been wearing the hide of some 4 legged creature. It speed was amazing for sonething so small, it never looked towards him and it was very close to Richards van when he saw it.

When someone reports that they have seen something mysterious, the first thing others say is "were they drinking?". People say this even though everyone knows that alcohol does not make you hallucinate. Its not a hallucinogen, like LSD. Strange.
Hello from an American in Spain, though I've never had an encounter with a fairy, I've dealt with Sasquatch (Bigfoot) encounters on several occasions in the USA... people need to talk about their encounters whatever it may be... in Alaska we have little people..

When I was resting in a field in Lytham in Lancashire, I was admittedly smoking some weed and cut through a fence with my bike it was a summers day, I was there for roughly an hour and had some heavy bags as I was foraging for treasure at the local tip, I approached a bush to relive myself and a fist sized creature hovered out of the brush with wings like a bee and stayed infront of my face for a sec then just belted off, I always considered it some type of undocumented natural creature but instinctively I started calling it a fairy, it looked as though it’s body was too bulky for those type of wings to be able to fly but it was absolutely no hallucination the thing scared the pants off me…I always mean to go back there one day same time of year to see what the hell it was and whether it might show up again

Just because we can't ecpierience them at will, does not mean they are not there. I have not seen a fairy yet, but very open to meet one. @@peppercat8718 A rather friendly ghost at the rental house I was staying at liked to jostle the bed just as I was drifting off-twice! The third time I stayed up but pretended I was asleep. I caught it that time! Then I turned on the light to say,”Hi!” And not mind me because I had to use the bathroom!
I agree these experiences tend to happen randomly when least expected and seem to belong in the hidden realm of the human mind which is very vast and contains many more things than things we are aware of with deeper otherworldly access. It probably opens the mind further in beautiful and relaxing surroundings such as the highlands where people have such experiences more often. I hope to see episode 2 as well.
Walking, especially slightly strenuous, over rough terrain or long distance, induces a mild trance state, which might help us to see things. I've had some, and been hypnotized for other reasons ( for stress etc) and the similarity to the hypnotic state is noticeable.

Our Tetha brain wave frequencies most active between afternoon and evening periods, meditation, praying and hypnotherapy open both conscious and subconscious states simultaneously. It makes us more receptive and responsive. I can imagine a walk in the park during this time of the day creating a calming effect where paranormal experiences can occur. Most of my experiences seemed to have occured during this time of the day too. I think it is also a good time of the day to socialize for this reason because we interact more effectively in this state by opening up more to others while also being receptive to them at the same time..

Fairies are real. I’ve had many encounters with them, some good and some not so good. I can see and sometimes hear them. When they are around I’ve noticed other mystical being with them like the old hag, leprechauns, two black wolves and other beings.
I was walking home from a party one night years ago. Contrary to your guest, I was very drunk, hence the walk home as I didn’t feel I could survive the taxi journey without illness.. the walk took me past a church where I stopped by the wall of the yard to look at the scene of the graves. This was at night and it just looked interesting to see. I then heard a very strange noise, which I can’t identify. May have been an animal of some kind but struck me instantly as odd, almost like a cackle, quite high pitched as though from something small. But strange. It put an image in my head of something like a goblin. Who knows?
"Magic will return to the world when truth returns" was quoted by a fae in a girl's dream in one of Scary Fairy Godmother's videos titled Fairy Dreams - Six Encounters With Fairies In Dreams. Also a female TH-camr named Solar Glow Meditations asked if Hogwarts, fairies, mermaids, sirens and dragons were real and her spirit guide said yes through her dowsing rods, I think she's authentic because she shows genuine confusion, interest, and surprise to the answers she receives. I thought this was surprising then I found out J. K. Rowling practices meditation and I wondered if maybe she saw something or learned something while meditating. It would also explain why it's common for people to see fae or elves run through walls, doors, and objects then disappear or why people who find tunnels of vegetation and go through them end up in an alternate reality or the fae realm. I think there are hidden doorways or Jumpgates between our realm and the other realms like Harry Potter that you can walk through like on walls or in objects.
I think I know where this faerie encounter took place as my friend organises a folk rock festival on a site nearby where i suspect this sighting occured and they have seen the faery folk many times there themselves. I wont say where it is as the fae are very private people and dont like to draw attention to themselves but i believe this to be true. I have my own faery sighting but will have to email you as it is pretty long and complex. Also have reports of frightening encounters with a creature identified as a hobgoblin or boggart whilst i stayed at the 9 ladies protest site. Will give full account in my email
Imagine being the person who looks for these people. When you see one sit down in a meditative posture while sitting out on the ground the following items: paper and crayons, Picture cards, an iPad set up for communication through swiping somehow. See which one it chooses to use to communicate with you. Is that possible, has anyone ever tried that kind of approach?
Are there any similarities between all the people who are seeing fairies? Open minded? Positive/happy people? Aa opposed to negative people or close-minded, perhaps trapped by religion? I'm just curious if there is some commonality here.

Interestingly a scientific video about scientists discovering what appeared to be Mermaids 🧜🏽♀️ washed up on shore came into “my feed” and it was Fascinating - It seemed a very genuine video and really seemed to prove the existence of Mermaids. 🧜🏽♀️🧜🏽 - So Fairies 🧚🏿🧚🏾♀️🧚🏾♂️ seems believable. I’ve seen a big black cat , uap x2 and a coracle boat in a canal tunnel appear out of thin air in a dark with a gas lamp on a mast in centre ……. Nothing is impossible that we can conjure in our minds . Maybe they are interrelated I can’t help but think. The black cat I believe was something along the lines of a kelis cat . I observed this creature with my wife and mother-in-law it was the size of a Labrador but feline no mistaking . One of the uaps I witnessed with daughter . The boat appeared to me and a friend . The boat was so real I had no reason to think it wasn’t ? I could have jumped into it ……. It was not maned.
Not to be a pedant - but I am a pedant. Light skin is an adaptation to life at high latitudes, where winters are long and there is relatively little sunlight. FWIW, here is my *_take_* on faerie encounters. I _suspect_ a significant portion of sightings are due to misidentification or other causes, but I cannot definitively say ALL are a result. People hear or read about faerie sightings -- _unusual lights, images, whatever,_ either contemporary or historical -- and try to interpret them in terms of artwork that was done decades or even centuries ago. Those people then reject the reality of the reported encounters because they doubt the reality of the _cute little creatures_ immortalized in the artwork. What if we are looking at this in the 'wrong direction'? What if we should instead be looking at the artwork first, and then try to understand it as a {mostly} pre-20th century attempt to explain the aforementioned _unusual lights, images, whatever?_ Anyway, just _"throwing in my 2 cents."_
This sounds so much like the entities referred to as 'Rakes or' Crawlers', not only the physical attributes but the behaviour, darting out in front of people or car's at rapid speed. The one's seen in North America can be 9 or 10 foot in height even taller, and they often stalk and terrorize people. Witnesses often refer to a severe and impending dread and terrifying screams and mimicking voices of other people. In certain areas they often follow them home then tap on bedroom windows. These entities are never seen in clothes, certainly not the hundreds of accounts I've listened to and witnesses state there are no genitals. There is a very famous image of a thin emaciated creature looking towards a camera at night with eyes that seem to glow, many people believe this is The Rake or Crawler.
there certainly are a wide range of beings out there! The pale skin is quite striking isn't it? it sounded like this being was hoping to be left alone. I wonder if it still exists up there. The trip to the Scottish Highlands took place about ten years ago now.

@@peppercat8718 A rather friendly ghost at the rental house I was staying at liked to jostle the bed just as I was drifting off-twice! The third time I stayed up but pretended I was asleep. I caught it that time! Then I turned on the light to say,”Hi!” And not mind me because I had to use the bathroom!

I agree these experiences tend to happen randomly when least expected and seem to belong in the hidden realm of the human mind which is very vast and contains many more things than things we are aware of with deeper otherworldly access. It probably opens the mind further in beautiful and relaxing surroundings such as the highlands where people have such experiences more often. I hope to see episode 2 as well.
Walking, especially slightly strenuous, over rough terrain or long distance, induces a mild trance state, which might help us to see things. I've had some, and been hypnotized for other reasons ( for stress etc) and the similarity to the hypnotic state is noticeable.

Our Tetha brain wave frequencies most active between afternoon and evening periods, meditation, praying and hypnotherapy open both conscious and subconscious states simultaneously. It makes us more receptive and responsive. I can imagine a walk in the park during this time of the day creating a calming effect where paranormal experiences can occur. Most of my experiences seemed to have occured during this time of the day too. I think it is also a good time of the day to socialize for this reason because we interact more effectively in this state by opening up more to others while also being receptive to them at the same time..

Fairies are real. I’ve had many encounters with them, some good and some not so good. I can see and sometimes hear them. When they are around I’ve noticed other mystical being with them like the old hag, leprechauns, two black wolves and other beings.

I was walking home from a party one night years ago. Contrary to your guest, I was very drunk, hence the walk home as I didn’t feel I could survive the taxi journey without illness.. the walk took me past a church where I stopped by the wall of the yard to look at the scene of the graves. This was at night and it just looked interesting to see. I then heard a very strange noise, which I can’t identify. May have been an animal of some kind but struck me instantly as odd, almost like a cackle, quite high pitched as though from something small. But strange. It put an image in my head of something like a goblin. Who knows?

"Magic will return to the world when truth returns" was quoted by a fae in a girl's dream in one of Scary Fairy Godmother's videos titled Fairy Dreams - Six Encounters With Fairies In Dreams. Also a female TH-camr named Solar Glow Meditations asked if Hogwarts, fairies, mermaids, sirens and dragons were real and her spirit guide said yes through her dowsing rods, I think she's authentic because she shows genuine confusion, interest, and surprise to the answers she receives. I thought this was surprising then I found out J. K. Rowling practices meditation and I wondered if maybe she saw something or learned something while meditating. It would also explain why it's common for people to see fae or elves run through walls, doors, and objects then disappear or why people who find tunnels of vegetation and go through them end up in an alternate reality or the fae realm. I think there are hidden doorways or Jumpgates between our realm and the other realms like Harry Potter that you can walk through like on walls or in objects.

I think I know where this faerie encounter took place as my friend organises a folk rock festival on a site nearby where i suspect this sighting occured and they have seen the faery folk many times there themselves. I wont say where it is as the fae are very private people and dont like to draw attention to themselves but i believe this to be true.
I have my own faery sighting but will have to email you as it is pretty long and complex. Also have reports of frightening encounters with a creature identified as a hobgoblin or boggart whilst i stayed at the 9 ladies protest site. Will give full account in my email

Imagine being the person who looks for these people. When you see one sit down in a meditative posture while sitting out on the ground the following items: paper and crayons, Picture cards, an iPad set up for communication through swiping somehow. See which one it chooses to use to communicate with you.

things can shift over time so don't lose heart. There is always connection even if you can't see it. Perhaps you can feel it.

Interestingly a scientific video about scientists discovering what appeared to be Mermaids 🧜🏽♀️ washed up on shore came into “my feed” and it was Fascinating - It seemed a very genuine video and really seemed to prove the existence of Mermaids. 🧜🏽♀️🧜🏽 - So Fairies 🧚🏿🧚🏾♀️🧚🏾♂️ seems believable. I’ve seen a big black cat , uap x2 and a coracle boat in a canal tunnel appear out of thin air in a dark with a gas lamp on a mast in centre ……. Nothing is impossible that we can conjure in our minds . Maybe they are interrelated I can’t help but think.
The black cat I believe was something along the lines of a kelis cat . I observed this creature with my wife and mother-in-law it was the size of a Labrador but feline no mistaking

Not to be a pedant - but I am a pedant. Light skin is an adaptation to life at high latitudes, where winters are long and there is relatively little sunlight. FWIW, here is my *_take_* on faerie encounters. I _suspect_ a significant portion of sightings are due to misidentification or other causes, but I cannot definitively say ALL are a result.
People hear or read about faerie sightings -- _unusual lights, images, whatever,_ either contemporary or historical -- and try to interpret them in terms of artwork that was done decades or even centuries ago. Those people then reject the reality of the reported encounters because they doubt the reality of the _cute little creatures_ immortalized in the artwork.
What if we are looking at this in the 'wrong direction'? What if we should instead be looking at the artwork first, and then try to understand it as a {mostly} pre-20th century attempt to explain the aforementioned _unusual lights, images, whatever?_

This sounds so much like the entities referred to as 'Rakes or' Crawlers', not only the physical attributes but the behaviour, darting out in front of people or car's at rapid speed. The one's seen in North America can be 9 or 10 foot in height even taller, and they often stalk and terrorize people. Witnesses often refer to a severe and impending dread and terrifying screams and mimicking voices of other people. In certain areas they often follow them home then tap on bedroom windows. These entities are never seen in clothes, certainly not the hundreds of accounts I've listened to and witnesses state there are no genitals. There is a very famous image of a thin emaciated creature looking towards a camera at night with eyes that seem to glow, many people believe this is The Rake or Crawler.
That does sound like an internet scam...
there certainly are a wide range of beings out there! The pale skin is quite striking isn't it? it sounded like this being was hoping to be left alone. I wonder if it still exists up there. The trip to the Scottish Highlands took place about ten years ago now.

What would normally remain in the wild places, the creatures of the night, are on the move, and the cats are disappearing. Yes the pale skin is striking some witnesses have claimed to see the veins through it. Do you want to really know what is happening with the fairies Jo?
