First time I saw a Faerie, I was staying at my daughter's house and she often saw them. She let me have her bed to sleep in that night and the next morning as the sun light was flooding into the room, I was a sleep but I was laying on my back in bed and could see everything going on in the room. I saw something out of the corner of my left eye coming from the door connected to the hallway. It was a Faerie flying across the room and was hovering over the window next to the bed. What I picked up on, was the Faerie was looking for my daughter. She had a look on her face like what are you doing here. It was a wonderful first time experience of seeing the Fae. Since then, back in March of 2013, after we moved into our home, I have had several sightings and experiences with the Fae. I usually see them in Light form. I love the Faeries!

As promised: In 1994 I traveled from Dublin to Galway. At about the halfway mark we stopped for a little walk in the woods. I was the driver so I picked the spot. My friend and I were separately walking for a bit in a moderately thick woods. There was a broken down looking castle in the far distance. I was standing by a tree when I saw a quick movement out of the corner of my eye. When I looked directly, I saw nothing. It took a moment to register but I knew I had to say something to bring whoever it was out of hiding. It was broad daylight by the way. So I yelled out “you might as well show yourself because I already know you’re a leprechaun”. I thought it so stereotypical. Here I was in Ireland and within a couple of days I was seeing exactly what is depicted in fairytales. But I knew what I’d seen. It was a male who was small in stature, wearing all green and quick as a whip. As soon as I said the word “leprechaun”, he moved away from the side of a tree that he had blended himself into. I thanked him for showing himself and told him due to his bravery I would never forget that leprechauns exist. It is to this day the only Leprechaun I’ve ever seen. My friend was not close enough to see him. I don’t know whether I was believed but the feeling was so exhilarating in me that it didn’t matter. I didn’t mention it to anyone in Ireland or ask around while there, I went on to experiencing a connection with my deceased ancestors and a baby seal I saved by putting it back into the ocean, as well as a host of other magical and mystical connections and experiences. By far not my first or last experience of a non human being who can be experienced in 3D but each has it’s own special place in my heart. These experiences have always happened unexpectedly and bring great joy and reverence. I always had the feeling the leprechaun was curious about me and sort of accidentally “uncloaked” but then realized when I spoke that I was a friendly sort and not to be feared. Even so, he did not stick around for more than another second and I didn’t walk after him. Definitely there was the feeling of mutual respect. I’ve told the story to a few but basically reserve it for those who would care to know of it. It’s been almost 30 years, I wonder what has transpired since that one moment in time, there in those woods. These days I think I’d invite him for a cup of tea. I mean why not? For us friendlies, we must start mingling at some point.

They do bring an immense amount of joy. I believe this is the real reality of this material plane and for some reason we have been distracted and earned away from it.

@@themodernfairysightingspod8421 well it’s interesting you bring up the reason to be in physicality. Maybe you picked up something through my vibe. The fairies remind us of who we are even ones that are acting in retribution but especially those acting in delight. We are doing something in physical manifestation that has not been achieved before. It’s our big endeavor. To do it we are not connected in the way we would usually be. This of course sucks the joy out of our perceptual self. It’s rare to be around beings full of constant joy in the 3D world. We then confuse the lack of connection with the perception that we have a crisis of being, aka existential angst. In other words we transfer the feelings of lack of connection to those of life itself being the problem. Your focus on fairies leads to discourse towards the thinking process about purpose because the striving to achieve can be put on hold for a moment while the life lived in the body as well as the mind can be observed more intimately and thus connected to more holistically. When we focus on connection rather than stumbling around blindly not knowing why we feel so at odds within our lives, we begin to solve the problem. Disconnection in a sense is a math problem. We know that the entire universe operates off of ones and zeroes. There are no disconnected parts, only seemingly so. How do we honor our individual unique experiences while attaining and sustaining connection? As you told your story, you focused on the eye contact that felt so meaningful to you. I call this type of activity merging. It does bring joy because it is our natural state. You are personally entertaining thoughts as to why we might be more willing, interested, and wanting to focus on and share these types of moments (stories) these days. Our collective consciousness is turning its focus towards our real intent. If we were dogs on a leash, it would be called running out the leash. We have traveled to the edges of individuality and same/different constructs, we have done this in individuated bodies. We have mastered some things in the outer rings as to how different we experience and different we present but there is a core to the eccentric rings and it has levels of magnetism. This magnetism can be expressed in one word, oneness. My sense of timing is that we have sufficiently explored the outer rings and we are about to bring this all back to the core. This will manifest all different ways but the feeling of doing so will bring pure joy. Think of a movie in slow motion of glass shattering but only in reverse. It’s more exciting than that of course but it’s a visual most of us can relate to.
I have some more stories I’ll post. I prefer to share them in the comments for those who want to read them.
Side note: my partner’s name is Jo.

@@ToddDouglasFox Thanks for the fascinating story. One way to describe this physical existence we experience in this transient physical reality is to call it living in separation; we have amnesia of where we come from and of the greater reality everything comes from - from steps to knowledge.

    • @ToddDouglasFox
      @ToddDouglasFox ปีที่แล้ว +6

@@wmanadeau7860 I’ll tell you a secret. I never forgot. It practically filled my mind every moment since before I could walk. Prior to turning five I decided to follow the human path but without amnesia. I consider myself the most fortunate person who has ever lived. I decided at that age that I could only follow the human path for a short while, only long enough to understand it. I’ve reached that point. I’m beginning to travel more holistically now, taking the human experience so as to integrate it into the whole.

I am experiencing the same change in my overall world/universe view. BTW, I got here via Jacques Vallée's books that argue fairy lore is related to UFO "abductions". Even stranger, UFO abductions appear to have a connection with NDEs! Just read the strange Andreasson Affair series of books by UFO researcher Raymond E. Fowler. All of these things were subjects I would previously never, ever consider as worthy of my attention.

Funny how I had an encounter unexpectedly when I was on holiday with people who did believe in fairies. It seemed quite normal to them. When I returned to my usual life with non-believers I buried it in denial, that 'it mustn't have really happened'. Now, finding this podcast and community, the memory flew back, with another! and I knew immediately it was real. Being around others who are open minded is essential to seeing life as it is, and is why this podcast is so important! Thank you 💕💕💕🌟🧚‍♀️💚💕💕💕

Not sure if this counts as a fairy encounter or not. I like going into the glen's of Antrim around glenshane glenariff the nine glen's. I love the forest's and river's particularly in summer. I just go strolling all day, fish. Last year whilst strolling through the glen's I heard a little River running close by mile's from anywhere. I pushed my way through the brush and found a clearing with a small waterfall dropping about 6 ' into a pool about same depth. There was a little clear area flat granite were I could sit. It was one of the most tranquil places I've ever been. It was extremely warm,I sat down feeling very dreamy a bit drowsy very happy. I was watching the dragon flies dart here and there above the pool. I sat watching the trout in pool beneath. I don't know why I sat for hours feeling very happy I felt grateful to be there just enjoyng it. When it came time to leave towards evening I thanked the place and left an apple don't know why it just felt right. Next weekend I felt compelled to return I'd felt so happy. Where I'd left the apple it was gone and a small white fully rounded quartz stone was there in it's place. I took it some animal had taken the apple but the stone couldn't have got there by itself I don't see how. Again I sat all day feeling very calm and happy. When it came time to leave again I took the stone home with me and left a sandwich again it just felt the right thing to do for the joy of the day. I returned a week later sandwich gone again probably taken by an animal but another white quartz stone where I'd left it. Took that stone home as well. Slept like a log that night. I had a friend I told what I experienced there in that place and about the Peebles, he asked to come along next time I didn't want to bring him I didn't want to share the pleasure of it but he talked me into bringing him against my better judgement. When we arrived there was another white stone on the ledge where I'd left some peanuts on the last visit. My friend didn't believe me .He was very loud constantly making noise mocking. I knew I shouldn't have brought him. He seemed to break the atmosphere of that place. Suddenly he got hit in the face with a small stone about the size of a pepper grain not big I didn't even see it hit him just his reaction to it as he jumped back. He asked me did I do it I said no I'm sitting beside you you got hit from the front. He became unsettled and was hit again with another in the face . At that he began to almost panick and wanted to leave so did I but not out of fear but just the feeling I shouldn't have brought him at all. He disturbed the place. We left. I returned the following week an felt compelled to appolgise for his behaviour for disturbing the peace. I left another apple returned a week later another white stone in it's place. I never seen a fairy and I still go there regularly, my friend never mentioned our trip there ever again it genuinely rattled him. I don't know what happened maybe something lives there but it likes peace and quiet, dragon flies and fish in the pool and it doesn't like man made noise ,I can't really describe my experiences in that place except to say I love it. I keep leaving little items from my lunch and I keep getting those white stones. That's about all I can say for sure, I've never seen a fairy but that place has some sort of presence and we seem to like each others company.

thank you! It certainly sounds like you had some communion with this place and perhaps even subconsciously 'tested it' by bringing your friend along. I love that he 'got told' in no uncertain terms 😊 and I'm glad that you felt able to return and continue your relationship. My advice is to lean into that and see where it leads...however if it ever feels like it's turned into different sort of feeling and you need to leave (as you previously did with your friend) then listen to that.

From European heritage, but being raised in South Africa in the semi desert wilderness on an isolated farm along the Great Gariep River, bordering Namibia, my playmates were the indigenous San (Bushmen) people. From a very young age I knew that Nature is sentient. The San are amazing storytellers and I grew up listening to the elders telling their age old stories around the fire in the deep darkness of the desert. The Namaqualand/Bushmanland desert is ancient. Its not a sandy desert - instead the ground is harder and rocky containing quartz and mica a.o. minerals. It's mountainous terrain, with the massive river flowing through over the untouched landscape. In Spring the desert comes alive with wildflowers in the most luminous colours.
Summers are exceptionally hot there and I preferred to sleep outside on the veranda (stoep in Afrikaans) of the old farmhouse. To this day there is no electricity in that area where I lived. On full moon nights when the light strikes the quartz and mica bits in the ground, it creates a haze over the veld and even the trees are aglow.
The answer is yes I saw the little people with their gossamer wings moving around in the trees glittering in the haze of moonlight. I watched them from my bed in the late hours of the night. Whether they are visions/projections from the deep subconscious or real, I cannot say, but I saw them walking along the branches of the trees and fluttering about for all the years of my childhood on moonlit nights. I cannot thank my parents enough for exposing me to the wonders of nature as a child and I thank my San friends for giving me the gift of knowledge that Nature is alive. I want to pass this precious knowledge on to others and aim to start doing retreats in this region next year. Merging with Nature at a deep level forever changes who we are. To me everything in Nature is sentient and alive. When people begin to discover this, they say its like waking up from a dead sleep into a vibrant reality. Nature holds it's secrets close and reveals it only to those who genuinely open their hearts to receive those gifts. We are not from Nature, we are Nature. We belong to Nature who birthed us. When we make that connection - thats when when everything changes.

When we talk about Fae or any other kind of multidimensional entities (especially when viewed in a synchronistic context), not only are we talking about things beyond our "ordinary" everyday kind of perception, but also playing at the idea that the Universe, itself, is possibly intelligent (especially when these kind of encounters happen in a synchronistic and seemingly symbolic way). This, perhaps, more than anything is what really gets the rational mind spinning in circles, because to accept the fact that the Universe is not only intelligent, but is intelligence, itself, puts our man-made world (and the faculties of logic which we have largely used to create such a world) in a much different hierarchical order than what we have been accustomed to seeing. It does not suppose that logic is the sole proprietor of the world and its many mysteries, but that logic, itself is but an effect of the great Mystery that it aspires to articulate, certainly suited for piecing together various things, and taking those things apart, but no more able to encompass the entire truth than a wave can encompass the ocean from which it comes.

I can feel the Loving Mystery in how you express it, beautifully translated, well done. In Ireland where I'm born and living now, the older generations were so connected to the land and sea physically (for food, fuel, fertiliser, clothing, travel, natural homes and funishings, homemade local music and so on, its like they dropped through its solid dimension more easily. It was easier to see into the mysteries by conecting deeply to the 3D in a harmonious way. There were certain times to walk the roads at night, leaving the other times to the fairies (same applied to sports pitches!). Certain places would cause time and memory loss, and mysterious caravans of lights late at night would be seen passing along particular routes through the landscape. Their everyday lives were so intimate with nature, she could show them her 'many faces'. They accepted as
normal that reality is made of different dimensions and ways. To deny such seems the real modern mental illness and we can return to the mystery now with open hearts. See 'Biddy Early', Ireland's most famous healer and colleague of the Good People. Where normally I wouldn't hear disembodied voices, when I visited her ruined cottage in County Clare (now a shrine of sorts) I clearly heard her warning me about something important in my life at the time. Our ancestors lived in the mystery and wonder of that, which made life Magic X

Thank you for sharing so candidly. There are so many things we don’t understand. After many years of research into healing traditions in Ethiopia, where people are more receptive and knowledgeable about the spirit world, I’m certain that it’s possible to have real experiences of things the western world has considered myth or superstition. The bitter repression of the burning times when so many women who knew the fairy lore died, our heritage lends itself to fear and ridicule.
💛Well done, sister, for voicing what has so long been silenced.

Thank you for your clear intention for why you’re sharing this podcast. It is really inspiring! So much of the supernatural seems to be sensationalized these days as entertainment, and your careful consideration and respect for the other realms is so refreshing.
Interestingly, as I was reflecting on what you were sharing in the beginning of this episode, I remembered that what opened my eyes to there being a world beyond the material was someone sharing their story with me. She was a very normal girl, a barista at a coffee shop that I haunted lol. When she shared her story with me about some “little people” in her apartment and their shenanigans, it was like it began to crack the egg of my limited world view. This led to a whole slew of personal experiences that are too many to recount (over 20 plus years now) and that I only share when I feel moved to, generally in one on one conversations. So when you spoke of the sacredness of personal experiences, I could really relate with that!
My experiences began when I was very young however. I was maybe 4 years old and I would play near a little mound near my home in the woods. It was my favorite place to play. I couldn’t always find the path to get there, sometimes it was just thick bushes. But when the path was open it was easy to find. It wasn’t until I was in my 20s that I realized that maybe that little hill could be a fairy hill. I’d always had a thought to visit it if I ever visited that land again (my family still owns the property), but I don’t know that the hill even exists . I also went inside of the little hill once. There I was greeted by little people who were my height and taken on a tour by riding around in a little mining cart! The little guide who had greeted me spoke telepathically. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I’d ever heard of the hollow hills.
Even though I had that experience as a little child, the world and its beliefs deadened my sensitivity and belief in the other realms and it wasn’t until I was 19 that the girl’s story helped me wake back up.
Much love and support for your podcast! I hope that it can help others to begin to awaken to the world around them ❤

I very clearly saw what I call a "lightbody" back around 1992. It was about an inch tall and many colored and perched and spun on a windowsill. I had plenty of times to 'rub my eyes' to make sure I was not imagining it....About a year ago (2022) I saw two fairy or elf like characters. I describe them as elf-like because they were not lit up as I think fairies are. I had been sitting next to a large stone waterfall that I'd been building for many months. I had put some quartz crystals in nooks in the stones. I believe the elves or fairies very much liked this project. As I sat there at dusk, daydreaming about how the waterfall would look once the water was flowing, I saw something settle on the ground near my feet. My first thought was, "That is something supernatural!" It was the size and shape of a leaf. Then I saw another to my right! I was quite excited and happy and thanked them for letting me have a glimpse of them. Then we had a joyful conversation that made me giddy with happiness. This feeling was, for me, my biggest proof that I had really experienced something.

I started to have my awakening in 2020 and when I left my life and partner of 13 years I manifested a trip to Maui for a few months. The morning I woke up in the island my host talked about fairies in the garden and showed me pictures of little blue winged people caught on camera and I would hear sighting stories. It was the start of a new reality for me and since then I would get so many fairy synchronicities. Now I feel more drawn to work with native plants and teach others their benefits and the journey continues...thank you for doing what you do! Thank you for allowing me to believe in magic!

I strongly believe that many of us have some form of ancestral connection or past life connection with fairy folk.
Who knows, maybe many of us in our soul journeys decide to move into human existence after previously being part of those creatures' collective. And because of that, we occasionally experience a window area or trigger event where some form of Elf/ fairy etc which we were linked with - becomes visible

I had a powerful experience the following evening within my own energy .kundalini..and following that I felt a need to go to the sea and see the seals. I've had my share of discombobulating experiences that shifted my materialistic, scientistic world view, and all for the better. For those interested, I suggest looking into the Findhorn garden story, the books about ROC and his experiences of nature folk, and books by Dorothy Maclean. They give some further insight into these realms and the richness of existence, beyond our superficial perception.

Thanks for having the courage to share your encounter. I've never had a fae encounter, but I've had many spiritual/paranormal experiences. I've even written a book about them. I know how vulnerable it makes one feel to come out of the "closet" about these things. Over time, I have come to the conclusion that we are supposed to share them, even if there are some people who will never accept these things.

Yes, I agree it has to be up to the individual and what feels right for them. For some it's never right to share and that's ok. they shouldn't feel pressured to. For me it felt right to share but initially that felt like a big decision to make. Thank you.

Ah you were born on Star Wars day! Taurean, like me. My birthday is the 11th - but I didn't see this until after the events you were talking about. May is a beautiful, magical month. I loved the visuals you did for this podcast. Yes, very useful for me. Although, I have long since given up feeling embarrassed or being fearful of ridicule. In fact, just yesterday, I met two guys I know - both older than me, so in their 70s. They were laughing and saying they felt like gnomes so I told them about my gnome experience. One chap grinned from ear to ear - and the other looked horrified - a cross between shocked and scared. I wondered if he will ever speak to me again - it was so funny. I have also had ghost experiences, a near death experience and two ufo sightings. As have my sisters. I talk to trees, plants and rivers. And always to animals. But I think we have less to lose as we get older. You are very courageous, I think. Thank you for all you do.

I'm at 18:23, but, this pattern is mimicking the mental storyline that I have always had in my head. When I was a kid, I used to write fantasy stories, but I never really finished them. I wrote one for school, which I did finish, and I never knew how to write a story, or how to explain what was happening, but it was always something like, 'I was looking into the bushes, under the trees, and it looked like it would be somehow mysterious or fascinating to go in there, so I crawled through the bushes, and fell into a hole, where I met wizards and monsters and dragons and other creatures.' It was always a kind of accident that I would fall into the adventure somehow, literally a hole in the ground.

    • @eagledove9
      @eagledove9 ปีที่แล้ว

I paused the video to write that comment, but then you went on and said, 'maybe it was all just a dream,' and that was part of my fantasy story narrative too, always. There would be a moment when you would think it was all just a dream, and then maybe you would find out that it wasn't a dream, and something wonderful had happened.

@@themodernfairysightingspod8421 the one that gets to me and a friend the most, is a place that is only sometimes there. We’ve been visiting it since the 1980s, but you can literally spend an hour looking around - walk back to the main road in less than 5 mins, return and it’s gone.
It’s an unremarkable place, a big circular clearing in an otherwise impenetrable bush. Lots of old tyres and large area of flattened grass, areas where things have been burnt by bonfires, an old dark hut facing into the trees that stinks of petrol. Can’t see into the windows and it looks like you could kick it down. We can’t hear the traffic when we are there, or any birds. We found it when we were children and often try to find it when it’s gone.
It’s only there around 2 out of 5 visits, trust me we can cover the whole area and it’s definitely not there. Nothing remarkable about to photograph but my friend thinks it’s more likely to appear if he leaves his phone in the car!
It’s not an interesting story to anyone else, but it fascinates us.

I showed a dear friend the book Meeting the Other Crowd by Eddie Lenihan once, and he became instantly concerned. The few people I've brought up supernatural beings to over the years rise to near anger in the defence of my sanity LOL.

I was talking a few years ago to a Sculptor who had a show in a gallery in Penzance, Cornwall. He was a plain speaking Yorkshire man who seemed really down-to-earth and not the usual personality for an artist (in my experience at the time). We got talking about the supernatural and he told me a story about how he was driving late one evening between Marazion and Penzance. It was very dark and no other traffic about and no street lamps along the road. Suddenly his car headlamp beam shone on a small figure walking along the side of the road coming towards him. As the car came along side him he could see the figure had a pointed felt like hat on, a long beard and a dark green coat and leather boots. He also had a stick over his shoulder with some sort of bundle attached to the end. The strangest thing was that this man was no more than three feet tall. The Sculptor did not stop the car but continued on his way a little shaken by the encounter.

Thank you for your story! Here is mine: A few years ago I was learning about fairies and was intrigued. I wanted to see one and I asked God to let me see one without being scared of it. A day or two later I had the urge to take a walk at 9PM -something I don't do often because I usually feel lazy at night. It was dark but the tree branches and powerlines were darker - silhouetted against the night sky. I looked up and saw an oval red/orange light about 2.5 inches by 1 inch, six or seven feet away at the junction of a tree branch and power line. I couldn't tell if the branch and powerline were actually touching or not. The light was not very bright nor well defined. It was a bit brighter at the center than at the edges. I shined my tiny flashlight on it and it disappeared for a moment and then appeared again when I was no longer shining the light. After staring and pondering for a few minutes, I walked onward. When I came back to that spot after turning back towards home, I looked up and saw nothing, but then something caught the corner of my eye. It looked like the same red/orange light but it was at waist level now and about 4 feet away. It was slowly moving around - a few inches this way and that way - and sometimes staying still. I did not shine my light on it because I felt it would have been rude. I was not afraid; I was filled with awe and gratitude. I can't prove it was a fairy, but I think it was. I had envisioned seeing one in the daylight in a forested area, perhaps behind my house, when I prayed that prayer, but I think I would have been a bit freaked out to see one in broad daylight. I am in my 60's and live in a suburban area in central NY state that has creeks and woods.

So happy to hear this. And I am glad you followed your instinct. Something/someone wanted to connect with you. How beautiful. I cannot say either whether it was a fairy being or some other kind of consciousness but it was certainly something from the Otherworld which is around us all the time and this time, you got to see a physical manifestation of it. I've seen a small orange glowing orb appear next to me when chanting in a well known neolithic burial chamber. Again, I felt it was some kind of Otherworldly being making its presence known and perhaps even trying to engage as it seems yours was.

I remembered another story. 40 years ago I was tutoring a six-year-old boy. When I arrived at his house one morning, he was playing with his four-year-old sister in the bedroom that they shared. I went in to say hello. The little boy excitedly told me that they had seen a little man yesterday, right there near their closet! His sister, enthusiastically agreed, their little faces shining with wonder. I said, “WHAT??” Their mother overheard and came to the room and dismissed it calmly saying, “ Oh, it was just the devil playing tricks. Just forget about it.” She and her husband were strict Christians, and so was I at the time. I’m so glad God has answered my prayers and broadened my awareness in many ways during the past decade or so! 🙌🙏

It seems to me these countries seem to be the center of the fae world....I have never heard of a fairy sighting in Australia. Are there certain areas that they inhabit or do you think the people of the UK, Ireland especially, are just more perceptive/ open to an encounter? Any theories?

Hi compatriot! 😄 I’ve heard of encounters from Aboriginal people I’ve worked with. A Wiradjuri-Dharug woman (from just south of Sydney) once told me about seeing what she called a “hairy man” in the bush. From her description, it sounds like these little ‘hairy men’ are the Australian equivalent of the European gnomes or pixies. She was taking a snapshot of some friends and suddenly saw his little face through the view-finder, peering down from the branch of the tree that was behind her friends. Apparently he was less than happy about being photographed! She said he looked really angry, so the photo was not taken and they left. I got the impression that ‘hairy men’ were something to be left alone/avoided.

Sighting 1 took place in the 1990s (Sorry I don't have the exact date) it involved my son's ex Sister and Brother-in-Law. They were parked late one evening near High Beach in Epping Forrest. At the time they were still courting, and after about half an hour they heard noises outside the car, quite perplexed and nervous they looked around and staring through the back window were two tiny figures! Needless to say, they immediately left. I heard this story first hand and they both seemed totally genuine.
Sighting 2 involves my Brother and Sister, both now in their sixties swear on the Bible that whilst playing in the bedroom they both saw a figure that resembled an old TV character called Andy Pandy, which came out of the closet and played with them for about half an hour, they were about 4 and 5 respectively at the time. They still maintain their story to this day.
I will also add that I never use or wear green unless I asked permission. I'm also adding a link to a picture that was taken at about 3am at a camping ground near Edenbridge in Kent, play full-screen to see the creature, I have no idea what it is, but I'm certain it's not human. th-cam.com/video/MC096mWtHrM/w-d-xo.html

The figures relating to the counting couple does sound like a similar scenario. I think they are possibly attracted by potent emotions. Maybe that’s where our ‘ways of being’ -as humans and Otherworldly beings - merge. Via emotions? Not sure but that’s great. If they feel like writing ti me about it it’s scarlettofthefae@gmail.com and they might also report anonymously to The Fairy Census (link in show notes)
