  • To celebrate Halloween we visited a farmer with long ties to traditional Irish magic.
Pat Noone is a farmer in Galway with a strong belief in fairies - he has a fairy portal and a fairy fort on his land that he says has brought him much luck.

As a kid, I saw 3 entities that I thought were fairies, but they don't fit any description I have ever heard. They didn't have wings, they just looked like the tiniest of humans, about 8 inches tall, females. They spoke English, though it was like an older version, more archaic. They saw me, and the older one of the three turned and looked at me, just staring at me for a long time, then said "she's no harm". Then my mother called me and I turned around, when I looked back, they were gone - but never to be forgotten by me. Amazing!

Many years ago I was having panic attacks and after a particularly rough day, I went and sat in the garden (in those days I was a party girl). I was in a terrible state. All of a sudden a great peace came upon me and I just knew it was was from the trees and plants. It totally changed me. Years later I told a therapist about it and she said to me "you know that wasn't real". I never went back to her as it was such a sacred experience and I know it was very real.

I had a similar experience yesterday here in New Zealand. I was planting bulbs beneath my 100 yo plum tree (planted when my cottage was built), It is an old gnarled but beautiful tree that gives us thousands of luscious plums yearly. I sat back to admire my work and though there was no breeze at all a branch came down and gently brushed across my cheek and I heard "thank you". My heart felt the tree's happiness.

When I was little (about 3?) and found out my family was moving, they said I went around to all the trees and bushes, hugged them each and said 'Goodbye'. I don't remember this (had a lot of health problems growing up), but when I visited family in NC (mountain side) years ago I went on a night hike up the mountain. On the way back down the path I saw a light just off it and followed it. It led me to the most magical experience I've ever had. In this opening in the woods was thousands of fireflies dancing around. My logic side of my brain said it was just insects, but everything else said it was so much more.
Life isn't just about what we see, but what we feel and emote. I have always had this strong connection with nature, and the way the rest of humanity treats Mother Earth is so foreign to me.

As a child, I was lost in a forest behind my grands home. I found a pond and sat there praying for direction. I heard giggles and words. I saw tiny light bugs dancing all around the area I was in, a white unicorn, a large toad, elves to name a few that had surrounded me. There were quite a bit of fairies too...small, short, tall ( 5ft. Some taller ), all shapes and sizes. Mostly males. The white fur unicorn led the way back to grannie and poppa’s home. At the end of the forest, the unicorn looked back at me....I looked behind me at the fairies, light bugs and other little mystical beings who were ensuring me that I was safe and are now home. I walked passed the unicorn..seeing the house, the bull in the fence, chickens all over the yard, the pigs and a hog in their space.......and granny at the screen door looking out for me, I were so happy. I turn to thank all all the mystical beings, but they were all gone. Not even the path that we’d traveled were visible any longer. I explained to both of my gramps what had happened. When I’d finish talking, they looked at each other with very bright-twinkling stars in their eyes and the biggest smile ever. No words were said. That was about 50 years ago, and I still think about those bright stars in their eyes🕯

Just call them being in the nature and wait. Bring them something nice:)
They are waiting all of this time to reconnect with you, to be invited. They are our beautiful brothers and sisters, like all that exists. They love everyone, who loves and respect the nature. It would be easier, if one were at least vegetarian. What is being forgiven to an innocent child, it would no more be to an adult.
Fairies have a very strong attitude, when it comes to animals, whole nature(so do I). Besides, when one eats meat, one's frequency is to low to be able to see them, even if they would be right in front of one's nose. Children have naturally a very high frequency, so they connect easier, especially being among the nature, WHO is incredibly high vibrational...
      What an amazing memory 💞

There’s an apple tree that had three branches. One broke and got swallowed up by bramble, before we moved in. One broke the year we moved in, and has an oak growing from it, that had never touched the ground, and the last is still an apple branch. There’s also a bunch of woody nightshade growing in the area.
I knew I’d be dedicating some space to the fairies when I bought the place, and this apple tree was just perfect.

Once while playing my harp alone , it slowly dawned on me that I had a little audience of one. No bigger than six inches sitting against the wall and swaying it’s tiny head like Stevie Wonder to the music. I tried not to be too obvious while I studied it because it seemed totally unaware that I could see it. But when I could no longer resist looking at it full on , after double take straight out of a cartoon (which made me laugh out loud) got up and sped towards a Ficus tree, tripping over as it went again with perfect comic timing. Needless to say my world view has somewhat changed since this little encounter! I want to visit your place one day and play for them and the land. Bless you.

@@hamper22 it is amazing that you have seen nature spirits, I've never had the look of seeing any.
But I guess that they live at specific forest areas, I believe that nature spirit are guardians for forest.
But I'm surprised that when your dog saw the shadow being, it did not act strange it could be because the shadow being wasn't giving off any threatening vibes 😁.
From what I understand, not all shadow beings are malicious, I guess most just watch human beings out of curiosity.
But animals tend to be very weary of them, part of the reason why people don't believe folks like you and me.
They just cannot accept the possibility, and I accept that most people prefer their mundane life.
I actually don't think it's a good idea, for shadow beings to be proven that they are real, it would cause chaos.
We would have to re-examine everything about our reality, history might have to be rewritten.
Many scientists would have to go back to their theories and rethink things through.
Christians would gain more power in the world, because to them this will prove that their religion is right, and many people would become Christians because of the proven existence of shadow people.
Many women will be executed on the false accusations of witchcraft, let's face it no one say witchcraft is not real, after the revelation of the existence of Shadow People.
It will have a domino effect that, would cause destruction to all levels of society.
I can bet they would be a world war 3, caused by power struggle between Christians and Muslims, people won't have a cool head about this, they would go crazy.
I honestly think that some people would commit suicide after finding out shadow people are real.
I know of one guy who actually saw a supernatural entity, and he currently has a mental breakdown, he cannot handle it.
Because of his scepticism towards the super natural, he's one of those science die hards, who think ghosts and all that stuff are nonsense.
But for people like me and you, its no big deal I've seen shadow spiders, a shadow triangle, and beings that look like a doodle drawing.
And some jellyfish type entity, and some being that looks like a puddle of water.
Yeah I've seen some weird s***, but I shrugge my shoulders and go back to playing my video games or watching anime😁.
They're not a big deal, I was always open minded to the possibility, of non-physical life.
But I must say you must have some kind of knowledge, because I'm very spiritually aware person coronavirus awesome spiritual entity in a forest.
I would have not had thought that was a spirit guardian, I would just be scratching my head wondering what is it.
But I do know, that in some parts of the world, like sub-saharan Africa, and the Amazon, the spirit guardians not only protect the forest, but the people living there.

Sir, about 70 years ago when I was about 5 years old, I had the opportunity to see a small creature that some teenage boys has captured and were carrying it about in their hands. The creature was small, about 8 to 9 inches, was nude, and it was squirming it's body in protest; however the vocal sounds were more like grunts or squeals. The little creature was being held by its waist and was kicking its little legs. I remember that the boy that was holding him lowered him down for me to see it. I saw the resemblance and skin color was that of a human baby, yet I knew that it wasn't a real baby nor a doll. I don't know what became of that little creature whether the boys had released it or killed it. The boys had said that they had gotten him from a field near by. The creature had two arms and legs and a somewhat chubby body. I don't recall the features of its face, nor whether it was released where it was caught. Somehow that little thing crossed over into our demention where it was Captured. This occurred around 1950,
in small township in the state of California, USA. Do you suppose that it was a fairy? I often think of this incident and wonder of other life forms that live parallel to us in other dimensions.

Or possibly some form of ET being.. was alot of activity in the skies in around that time after Roswell.. but as an Irish man that certainly doesnt sound like the Fae Folk.. Fairies are just like you and I but they vibrate at such a higher rate than us that they are invisible to us... We can see them if we raise or vibration or they lower theirs for some reason..which is rare, but if you raise yours then that dimension of reality is as real as this one we exist in !!

@@joeokeefe5061 I have seen black shadow figures too. I think they are localized to locations as when I saw one in the house I grew up in, it was small like a baby with red glowing eyes, it flew off into my older sisters bedroom. Next time I saw her I asked her if she ever thought the house haunted or seen a ghost and she said not the house itself was haunted but that she used to see a small black shape with red eyes hovering outside her bedroom window watching her. When I moved to my new house, it was freshly built and when I went to bed the first night there was a huge shadow figure laying on the bed above the covers and I went about pretending it wasn't there, but kept going to check on it, and it stayed there many hours, twitching it's fingers as if thinking and once I checked it had rolled over to it's side. It was 6 or 7ft long, looking like a shadow merman. It had no feet. I had crawled into bed with it at a point, out of fear that it would know I saw it and it was staying so late and not leaving and I did not want it to know I saw it. I was afraid what it would do if it knew I could see it. I hid under the covers with a pillow behind my back to separate us. It was gone the next morning when I woke up. I don't think those are fairies or ghosts. Many many people have seen shadow people.

I don't live in Galway but visit regularly: a few years ago I planted a bunch of trees on a relative's land and I was clearing out some of the dug holes with my bare hands (don't like using gloves): it took 2 days - but for the next 4 weeks afterwards I felt as if I had been plugged into a mains: brimming with energy and focus and I felt great (I've always physically trained so I have plenty of energy anyway but this was different). When I explained this to people they would say "Well, it's the outdoors, clear air and you're working the land". No - I spent a lot of my childhood in the countryside. tbh I wasn't aware of the claims of restorative powers in this area until I came across Pat Noone for the first time this evening.

The image of fairies as tiny creatures with wings is relatively modern, going back to Victorian stories for children. In older folklore fairies were indistinguishable from ordinary humans and you had to give certain tests to them to reveal that they were fairies. Also, very importantly, you were forbidden to speak openly of them or use their name.
