This was great hearing your story and sharing all of the film from back then! That was the first movie I remember seeing as a child and I love it to this day! And seeing your films that I’ve never seen before is a real treat! Seeing Rick be a bit “over the top” was priceless lol (He was the perfect antagonist for the role, but damn Richard you would have been amazing in that role as well!) John being the somewhat silent type as usual and great (such a great ambassador of the sport) And hearing how much respect you have for all of the competition, especially Cleve, that was beautiful I’m going to have to go back and watch the movie again now! 💪
John lost a bunch. lol, yeah he did. before and after a 25 to 26 year unbeaten streak. and that streak ended I'm pretty sure in 2012 or 14 to another all time great and my favorite because my age allowed me to follow his career Devon Larrett

Some of that old Armwrestling footage from the Over THe Top tournament was awesome. It was cool watching John B. watching Richard beat that one guy. Of course John later handed Lupkes his first loss.

I don’t think it was Rick. I think it was some competitor getting upset about a call or a loss and going apeshit. The refs looked surprised like it wasn’t a planned thing for the movie, and I can’t remember that being in the movie although I could be wrong.
That wasn't in the movie. He was a regular competitor, and that situation was off camera. But I think that was Rick. Check out a match he had against John Brzenk in 1985 I think (before he shaved the head for the movie) here on youtube, he went wild as well lol
