- hey hey hey so this no joke took about 6 months cause i’m lazy but i finally finished it! my first draft for one of my fav balance scenes
i noticed there was a lacking of animations from this scene so i took matters into my own hands :)

Looking back this is one of my favorite moments that Griffen set up to be purposefully under appreciated

As soon as Lucretia said ‘there were seven of us’ I *IMMEDIATELY* remembered this scene
I mean I *was* binging it but still
Omg I love Taako using mage hand to clean up, that’s so perfectly on brand. This whole scene is so good and underrated, and I’ve got the greatest urge to get a tattoo that just says “I saw seven birds”, listening through the balance arc again really allows you to appreciate all the small details and build-ups Griffin did

When I first listened to this episode I wrote down the 7 birds. I tried to connect them to the 7 relics but the only one that made sense to me at the time was the gaia sash and the lover (because of Sloane and Harley.)
Oh how close I kinda sorta was. I just need a few extra steps.
I did the same exact thing. When Lucrecia said "there were seven of us" I just when OH!! OH!!! BIRDS!!!! and it all came back again when Lup talked about dispersing the light

I love Amnesty, Dust, Dadlands, and virtually everything from these goofballs - but damn if Balance doesn't make my heart swell every time. Great vignette, great illustrations ❤

Can anyone tell me who is who? I know twins are Lup and Taako, the protector is Magnus, the journal keeper is Lucretia, The lover is probably Barry. So that means Merle and Davenport are left, and I don't understand how either could be the wordless one. Davenport didn't lose tge ability to talk until the very end of the stolen century and they could both be peace makers....
During the stolen century Merle got the ability to talk to the hunger so I belive that was what Griffen was going for with peacemaker. For davenport he was wasn't wordless in the since of speech I see that confusion.
THEORY/SPOILERS
in the Stolen Century. There was that one planet populated entirely with robots.
What if one of the Souls inhabiting them somehow escaped the Hunger?
That would explain the Seven Birds prophecy. It knew who they were
Spoiler as well. They did. Many of them got on the crystal and went on the ship.
