I would strongly warn against UX/UI unless you have a substantial background/degree in design. It's a heavily oversaturated job market due to it's high pay and seemingly low barrier to entry. People also think it's easy relative to learning to code, but there is a very steep learning curve. After bootcamps (or self-learning), you will likely work for free or at very low and uninteresting positions for several years before you land anything close to the pay promised by bootcamps.
Having said all this, if you are actually passionate about UX/UI, I would recommend making a plan and figuring out your financial situation before leaving your day job and committing to this route full-time. It's possible to learn UX/UI part-time while holding full-time work, but you will likely sacrifice health (mental and physical), social life/relationships, and anything else you that might be important to you and requires time.
Also, graphic design is nowhere close to six-figures (it's 30-40k/yr max here in the US for an entry position) and most graphic designers transition to UX/UI.

This video is sooo great! I was a teacher for 6 years then left in 2019. I’ve been working for a global insurance broker as an account coordinator and now account manager for 2.5 years. It’s not the right industry for me. I’m intrigued with tech since the industry is booming and I know tech companies pay well and usually have great benefits and work life balance. I’m a creative person and a planner. I’m interested in account management roles or anything related to design as I think I would enjoy that more. :)

    • @Sound_Fill

Hi! I actually just accepted my first role out of college as a Business Analyst right after graduation in a Fortune 500 company. I graduated in Management Information Systems (MIS) and International Business. Many older BAs that I’ve spoken to really happened upon the role because they were not really defined roles back then, but many businesses realized there was a need for someone to understand the business needs as well as the development team and communicate between the 2. Entry level roles usually require a MIS/IS, computer science, or STEM degree. I actually started in computer engineering but found out fairly quickly that I did not want to do that all my life and much preferred business. I think that MIS is the best way to go if you really want to be a BA because you cover simple-intermediate coding (you really don’t need any prior knowledge to start) data/business analytics, project management, and more which are all very helpful for BAs. Of course there are other routes but that was what worked best for me. Other roles I considered with my degree are Business Systems Analyst, IT Analyst, BI Analyst, and AI/ML Scientist and more. Some of those have significant overlap and what the role entails might depend on the company. There are so many options but I actually want to gain enough experience to be a project manager/scrum master eventually so BA is what I thought would be best for my career trajectory
