  • This is the third and final video in a short series of videos, showing the upgrading of my Carrera Go Porsche 997. The original car was so bad, I couldn't actually get it around my MDF track! For more slot car items, please see my website, Swift Sixteen, thank you.

Excellent work you did on this stroller, here in Brazil I followed every step you took showing us all the details and it was perfect. Congratulations.

Awesome, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have since fitted a 25k motor in it and it goes like a rocket!!

And what are the specifications of this engine so I can see if I can find a similar one on Aliexpress?

@@Hamiltonpantinha I ended up replacing this motor for a 'Slim Can 25k' motor, 1.5mm shaft! here is the link www.pendleslotracing.co.uk/srp-slimline-speed25-motor-25000rpm-12v-can-drive.html

Excellent stuff. Some interesting little modifications done on there. Once again thank you for taking the time to give 1/43 slot cars some coverage

No problem, it's all slot cars, so it's all good, no matter the scale.

    That was crazy awesome.
2 remarks: you should show a before and after, and you should absolutely have the car sounds and not music when you run the car. There is so much information that is passed via the sound.

This car went on to win a Euro proxy race and was played with today at a National Rally event 🙂

Really good video you are an amazing craftsman. Would you consider doing a tutorial on modifying a Carerra Go!!! Car with a more basic technique for those of us who don't have the time and skill as well as tools to do this? New to your channel so perhaps you've already done something like this

Glad you like the videos 🙂 I can only do things the way I do it. I'm sure there would be much of what I do you could copy, it only takes time and a small cheap lathe from Ebay. Jump in, have a go, it's not all that hard and there are plenty of how to video on YT, like soldering and machining.

You can get the guides from anywhere that sells slot car parts, but you'll have to modify the car like I did in the videos to use them.
