10:20 I think your best pile would have been Delta, Thoracle, Tropical, Sea, Brainstom. Draw Delta for your turn, Brainstorm keeping Thoracle, fetch twice, play Thoracle with 1 in deck. If they Thoughtsieze like they did, then you fetch and Veil. Play Brainstorm at start of turn keeping Thoracle and Fetch. Play Fetch and crack, play Thoracle with 0 in deck.

R1G2 fetching the Trop before you Doomsday gives away a bit of information, but gives you an extra card in the pile to protect against Echo and prevents having to shuffle which I think would've been worth? If you're locked in on having to Veil, which casting Doomsday locks you in for I think, your opponent can only kill you with an Echo. Fetch Bayou make pile of Veil Fetch Trop Oracle Veil I think saves you

I wanna see someone once do the shelldock doomsday combo maybe emerkul line you get the xtra turn and the good enough another game idk but thassa seems better but emerkul is a cool tech card it can stop decking sometimes. if it can help they need stifle to stop the hideaway if there’s a card that could stop you from ever getting decked someone smart needs to see if it works
It's definitely been played in Doomsday before, I think usually as a sideboard juke to throw off certain hate cards. I don't keep up on the Doomsday technology, but I guess people have moved on from that plan for the most part. It doesn't necessarily win the game, and it takes up some sideboard space, so maybe it didn't hold up. Cool interaction though, for sure.
Man in game 2 that run of counters just felt like I watched someone kick you in the nuts 3 times in a row, and then stomp on them after you were on the ground. That run of counter into counter into counter into counter was just.... Terrible. Edit: And THEN going into the bullshit frog game? God that sucked. I would just refund the money to play their deck and quit the league lol

I feel like this deck needs a single Hullbreacher. Not because it is good, but because the spice would be on par with the flavor of this deck.

Not in competitive magic. I’m sure lots of casual merfolk decks do that in the wild.
