"6 is misbehaving, like it _always_ does."
As a mechanical engineering student that has had to assemble multiple of the same machine, I *really* felt this. Even going as far to buy torque-limiting wrenched to unify bolt tensions between machines, THERE'S STILL ALWAYS ONE that refused to cooperate!

MOMA is a gift to the world. It’s great to see the army of people dedicated to presenting its wonders to us in the best possible way. Their passion for their work is obvious. Thank you.

This is a great series - the only one I religiously watch every episode - keeping my breath most of the time for this episode - handling these masterpieces - the result is beautiful - I’m envious of the first visitors that are taking in the newness and reinvented energy. One thing I found not optimal is that golden rectangular in the frame of the Van Gogh painting - it cuts the painting abruptly, the gold and the yellows of the painting are in competition rather than in harmony and it feels like a border that does not allow for the eye to expand and project the magic of the painting outside the four corners of its frame.

It's amazing at how putting something really good in a space, like picasso's les demoiselles d'avignon, reveals the inferiority of the works placed around it.

I loved everything I saw... except. Starry Night under glass??? No Van Gogh should be under glass. His painting are so 3 dimensional that glass just seems to detract from. I get it, keep it clean and protected, but the loss in viewing is a tragedy to me.

Why doesn’t the oxidation on the stretcher bars of the Van Gogh reflect the painting’s age? Was it restretched after it was painted?

I hate when they put glass over a painting. It robs the intimacy and engagement with it. To truly appreciate a Van Gogh paintings, you need to see the texture of every stroke. That's what makes them so special.
