Jo and Al are truly real life fairy godmothers!!! They are always so invested in each bride, even sometimes going to help them get dressed and send them down the aisle!! they look so adorable in the matching outfits & jewelry too!! love these ladies!!!

I've had a long life of trying to find nice clothes to fit. Even just casual and work clothes have been a challenge to find. It's a dream to see a bridal boutique full of beautiful bridal gowns that fit and look wonderful on the brides! Every woman deserves to look gorgeous and happy on her wedding day.
I know what you mean it seems especially in the states you have two choices You can dress like your grandma would or like a street walker there is barely any middle ground.
I love Jo and Al and how supportive and compassionate they are. I love it when they're there on the bride's wedding day and help her get dressed and give her pep talks. I wish they could help me with a mother-of-the-bride dress.

I can relate to her so much. When she said she couldn’t control her eating that touched me. I had eating disorders in the past. The main issue was trying to control the eating. Sadly, the very desire to be better was the cause of the disorder. Letting go of trying to control the eating was the cure for me. There is also other issues with abuse that I suffered which made the control such a problem in my life. And this will probably be an ongoing battle.
Very sweet bride and groom. Pretty dress. I initially swore off having a scale after my show career, but I knew by my clothes when to back off food. I changed that after a year of intermittent fasting because I can proudly "see" the weight numbers and shape I want now.
I'm glad her dress fit in the end. I do wish though that she had been a little bit more conscious about it so that she wouldn't have had to worry so much about it fitting. It ended well though so that's great for her and she looks gorgeous
I just love the two ladies, !!!! Soooooo much!!! They came to put her in her dress and they come with their positive energy!!! And the bride & groom so beautiful!!! I really loved the dress congrats!! May they stay together happy 4 ever in Jesus' name Amen!!!!❤
This program proves to me something my Grandmother used to say all the time, "All brides are beautiful." Jo and Al skillfully make all their brides feel beautiful.
Agree to not having in the house. I don't fancy cake really at all, but chocolate is a must for my brain! So I buy very intensly flavoured hot chocolate powder sachets, 40 cal each, and have those at home. It costs more than the big tub, but it's worth the measuring and easy control it gives back! I drink a bunch a day, occasionally with some coffee in, between 2 and 7 I'd say. The rest of my diet inclides real foods like vegs fruits and beans. I'm fat, but less fat and more agile that I would be if I let the addiction take over.
Such an incredibly sweet couple, love them! I also love to Jo and Al go full twinsies when they go to dress a bride on her wedding day (so far as I've seen.) I love it!
Ssso she's been in a better head space and felt calmer and happier so she's not turned to food for comfort. Almost like stress eating to calm the nervous system is a real thing. Wish people would remember this always, for themselves, and for others. Be kind to yourself and everyone else.
I'm married, but the one thing I wouldn't have done after buying a dress is indulge in food especially cake and chocolate. I would make sure to eat small portions, so when I go in for my first fitting my dress would be too big. Plus I would make sure I had a bathroom scale to check my weight loss.
I don't understand the seemingly British tradition of the groom not watching his bride walk up to him... I would have been heart broken if my husband to be had his back turned to me when I walked.
I wonder why they didn’t have a fitting closer to the wedding, like maybe a month before, so they would have an idea where she was as far as weight and give her a chance to lose some weight is she needed to. They took a HUGE unnecessary risk.
I love to watch Say Yes To The Dress, but my absolute favorites are these two ladies, followed by Bridal’s by Lori. The other British show is okay, but *unpopular opinion* I hated Diana’s dress, so I don’t fangirl over the designer. Nothing personal against him at all.
