I had a 2016 yearmodel. I sold it in 2020 with 83.000 km on the clock. A lot of the km was travelling between Denmark and Norway. I disagree what's stated on driving on motorways. It performs beautifully. In my time of ownership I didn't spend any money besides regular maintenance. Probably the best car I've ever owned.
My Auris is allready 13 years old and it still runs like the first day so you basicly still own a new Auris. Nothing to worry about for the next 15 years! 😂
Very good and informative review. I also have a 2012 Toyota Auris Hybrid and I have had the car since 2020 and it has been fantastic. Fuel economy is also really outstanding, and way better than any diesel. I get around 67 to 80 mpg UK. Sometimes I get more. Even in this cold weather, I'm still getting around 65 to 75 mpg. I'm sure most other normal cars are getting only 40 to 50 something, although I could be wrong. Overall a really superb and cheap to maintain car for me.
I have the same 2017 MY converted to LPG which reduces cost of fuel by half - I agree with everything that was said in the video with some additions : From my perspective the car requires additional sound deadening ( doors, wheel housing ), audio is crap and definitely a must - additional protection for underbody as you can hear how rust is eating it ( well applied secures it for at least 5 years ). Considering all positive outcomes like cheap maitnenance ( I change oilk every 15-20 kkm dpending on avg % (38% )of EV riding which I extract via OBD2 and Hybrid Assistant app, lack of any standard hardware in the engine that can cause issues the above negatives are irrelevant. I drive 60% outside of city on highways and coutry roads - for the last 12kkm I had avg speed 67km/h with avg consumption from fuel bills of 5.6ltr/100km of a LPG ( depending on coutry that should be around 70-80 EURO cents/ltr ). One last dis advantage is lack of certtification for hauling ( suspect its due to low emissions Toyota wants to report with this car ) so bike rack on the hook in the back may be tricky....
Your oil change interval is large. On such large savings with the LPG conversion, you should not go over 5k km.I hope your engine lasts at least 3 more years at that large oil change interval. Btw what lpg system did you use? Any issues with it so far?
Nice review :) I bought the same car from 2017 as used earlier this year and after the first 10,000 km, I am very happy with it. Only think I noticed is the build up of superficial rust on brakes and suspension. Do you face something similar? Is it normal for most DK cars?
Hi and thanks for your comment😀. Yes, rust on the brakes are normal. The car use partly the electric engine as brakes like an electric vehicle, therefore rust can appear on the disc. Regards Simon
Mange tak for anmeldelsen, den var meget behjælpelig. Hvis du skulle ud og købe en brugt familiebil og du så sådan en her fra 2018 til 175.000 kr. og 80.000 km kørt. Ville du så slå til?
1000 tak for din kommentar. Det er vist prisen pt - Men du kan købe vores til 160.000, da den snart kommer til salg. Vi har nemlig købt ny. Ring på 51673212 hvis det har interesse. Mvh. Simon
We just bought one from 2016 and it performs nicely until now 🙂
Great car… it will most likely drive forever without problems😄✌️

I have a hybrid malfunction warning. Any help with this?
You need to read out the error codes and then take it from there.
Great review
Really? Thank you so much😍
@@autofokusDanmark most welcome. Quick question. Were you by any means able to use apple car play in your car ?
@@sodakpublicity7463 I only used bluetooth for my phones. But it easily connects to both Android and Apple phones.
Please can you tell me when to use the EV, ECO, PWR MODES
EV= only electric driving, ECO=The car is optimized for economical driving, PWR= Speeder respons is quicker so the car feels faster.
