    In a situation such as this were the insurance is going to consider the car a total loss. Will you bill the insurance company for the tow?

      It always cracks me up when people say not to pull on a rim, and to use one of the T-slots in the frame instead.
      Like, how would you think that hooking to a hole in a piece of sheet metal is stronger than a structural component that’s tied into the vehicle with multiple points that are designed to take all the dynamic forces that the vehicle will see driving down the road

  • @RichardAmmo1
    @RichardAmmo1 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Yes! Commentary from the people assisting you is valuable! Grumpy is usually very good about explaining or describe to us what you are doing and why. I like that! Sometimes he also talks to your customers and explains to them what you are doing. I know you tell them; but sometimes they don’t get it or understand it until Grumpy explains it to them. I like that! Nathan is an excellent addition to your crew/team as well! I absolutely do want to see more of him on the channel! What I really DON’T like, is you running around the woods/back country ALL BY YOURSELF! You are not immune to danger or Mr. Murphy catching up with you one day; and the problem is compounded when you are all by yourself! Two heads are ALWAYS better than one, even IF they have no knowledge or experience with what you are doing! Casey, you are very methodical and meticulous, sometimes you can do things without even thinking and that can also bring danger or trouble. So an extra set of eyes watching you and even some questions being asked at that right moment can be a life saver! So, I wish you had a regular crew of some good people that go out with you all the time! Sure when it is just a routine domestic call for help; you can do those by yourself. But you could even use those as teaching moments for crew members that might be young or inexperienced. Take the time to educate a few others (your crew)while you are working off camera. Maybe on the legal issues, or more on the duties you would like to see them performing on a routine basis; almost as if they were employees. Because you are running a business and when customers see someone working with you, some people might assume they are an employee of the busines, Some of your customers do ask your ride alongside questions. Whatever you produce is always good content! It definitely is very nice when your content changes from time to time as well! Thank you for taking this HUGE endeavor and sharing it with us! I will be a LONG time subscriber!

      Not necessarily. Non-limited slip differential... Truck gets stuck, owner floors it to get loose and just spins tires, rear end swings left and catches the edge of the incline, gravity ensues and it tumbles down. Had the Ford driver had chains on, this could've been avoided. Unfortunately, people think that just because they have good ground clearance or 4x4, they're immune to the effects of snow.

    Your care in the way you cleanup is amazing to see! The reason I say that is apparently in FLORIDA tow operators have zero responsibility to clean up after accidents. I have driven by the scene of accidents with entire bumpers doors suspension parts torn off automobiles. After the tow trucks leave the parts remain until someone maybe the highway department for the local state get around to it. Most intersections are full of debris from accidents never to be cleaned up. Is there a law you HAVE TO clean up?

I always ran the L arms. A lot of the guys I worked with ran the wheel scoops. I never did like scoops because it is to easy for the vehicle to jump out of them. I have seen many but I never lost a vehicle using L arms on my wheel lift.

    Another great clip from you and I just love the banter between Ethan, Grumpy, Yourself et al. Please don't ever give in to the miserable ones, the banter is what makes your kind of work do-able.

    Sad to see an F-150 rubber side up. I did a similar flip in about 1981 in a late 70s F250. It was not totaled and my Dad had that truck for another 15years.

    I came for the banter, staid for the recoveries.

    I enjoy the banter! When there isn’t any, I wonder if something is wrong. Do what you feel and remember that you are the reason I watch! Love ya always!!

    Nice to see that you show your mistakes and everything in your videos (warts and all). Lends a real air of authenticity and humility to the videos. Keep it up!

    It's cool when you take somebody along you have the banner that goes back and forth that makes it more entertaining😂😂

    Great comment, Ethan - "and now I’m chasing a man in a tow truck". Casey really rubs it in, that you should feel honoured to be there.
