Lots of cool albums! Great reviews on them as well. I think that’s great that your speakers are separated and that you have two different sets of speakers. Good to see you back. I’m looking forward to your next video. You have a really good open mind on music! Each person’s ears are different, listen to music that makes you happy!
Thank you for another great video, Nora! It's so much fun to watch you talk about music and records and I really love your collection and your enthusiasm! Your taste in music seems quite diverse. Ha! I chuckled when I saw that Mamas and Papas record. I did not expect to see that in your collection. You know how that cover got censored and the originals had a toilet? Those uncensored covers with toilets are collectors items nowadays and cost like $300. I really love Tubular Bells. I think it's very underrated. And it made Sir Richard Branson a billionaire (or at least it started him off on that path). Love Plantasia, too! So happy you got a copy. It's not the best album in the world but it's certainly unusual and the story behind it is what makes it super interesting. Thanks again for a fun video. Can't wait for the next one and keep collecting! Bye
Oh wow thank you so much, and i never knew that story about that mamas and the papas record but that is hilarious wow!! That it goes for crazy amounts like that oh my. And i agree plantasia is not the best thing ever made but its so cute and cozy and playful and like you said the story behind it is so cool!!
My Bloody Valentine "Loveless" was one of my favorite albums back in the 90s. I have it on cassette in a box somewhere. After hearing your review, I want to dig it out and hear it again!
Nora at it again with the based music choices! Plantasia, Kate Bush, MBV, and Little Simz are all fantastic! A true music connoisseur! Keep up the great videos!
Hi, welcome back. It`s great that you have such a varied collection and such a broad taste in music. Having a broad taste in music and the arts can help inform and educate a person so as they take that open-minded attitude into how they appreciate the differences in life, people culture , etc. I don`t know how old you are but have you ever thought about a career in music. Maybe a club or radio DJ . A music journalist, studio technician, producer. Anything music related ? Just one thing you mentioned about Tubular Bells. You said it`s an electronic album. It features electronic guitars but it doesn`t feature synths or drum machines. It`s all played live. There is actually a video recorded in the 1970`s up on TH-cam of Mike Oldfield and other musicians playing the whole of side one live and it is amazing, really beautiful , almost magical sounding. Jean Michel Jarre released his classic album Oxygene around the same time as Tubular Bells and Jarres album truly is 100% electronic. When i was a kid i used to collect the first wave of U.S Hip - Hop, Rap 12" singles. Back then my favourite Rap artist was Public Enemy because they had a really layered sound to their production and some of their lyrics were more intelligent than a lot of other Rap artists at the time singing cliche nonsense about bitches and gold chains. One of my favourite rap tracks is the Message by Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five. The lyrics on that track are very intelligent. Another Rap track i love is I Against I by Mos Def - Massive Attack. That`s a unique sounding Electro - Rap track. World Destruction by Afrika Bambaataa and John Lydon is another unique rap inspired track that features excellent lyrics. A one off classic. If you like synth pop try and check out one of the original synth artists SOFT CELL. I don`t know if i mentioned them before to you but their tracks Bedsitter , Numbers , Torch, Say Hello Wave Goodbye, Memorabillia, are some of the best original synth tunes to come out in the early 80`s. Happy collecting and good luck with your future. Thanks from England.

I also have the previous Little Simz album called "Grey Area" just in case you haven't listened to it... It's not as lushly produced, or as grand, but the songs are just as great... The songs on Grey Area are probably punchier and heavier, and stand on their own, while the ones on SIMBI sound better in the context of the album as its SUCH an album experience. You just have to listen through it all ❤ btw thank you for all the recommendations, some artists I had never even heard of in there.
