beautiful collection! my favorite two vinyl that i own are; 1. Aaliyah self-titled from VinylMePlease, it's so pretty, the packaging is *chefs kiss* 2. Hayley Williams' second solo album called Flowers For Vases/Descansos, the website exclusive variant is the prettiest vinyl i own and it also sounds phenomenal!
Alessia Cara sings pop and r&b. I think you’ll love her music. Her last album, in the meantime, came out in 2021. It’s a mix of r&b/soul and pop. On her newest insta post she was signing vinyls
A local record store got a shipment of 1989 a few weeks ago and they were kind enough to hold one for me! They also said they’d contact me when they get some rep vinyls in! When I went to pick up 1989, I also grabbed a copy of This Is What If Feels Like because it’s one of my favorite albums of all time. It really is a top tier project, and it sounds sooo good on a record player! You have impeccable taste. 🥰
Miles Davis Kind Of Blue is a good place to start when you're digging into the world of jazz music.
A few more classic jazz artists I'd recommend for you to incestigate are Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers,
Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Duke Ellington, Dave Brubeck, Thelonious Monk, Herbie Hancock,
Charles Mingus, Stan Getz and Ornette Coleman.

I need to get started with mine, I only own a handful of them (I started collecting them a few months back when a really nice lovely person that I spend a lot of time watching on TH-cam got me a Midnights one 😚). Can't wait to have a proper job so I can spend more money on them lol.

I think back to black is an essential one to have also! I’d love to get some Ashe vinyls and happier than ever has so many colour variants I want them all haha. Golden hour is another essential album to own, she’s just recently dropped a blue and white swirl to celebrate the 5 year anniversary. I definitely need Lana vinyls ( NFR, Lust for life and born to die ).

I ordered a signed Gracie Abrams good riddance vinyl and I’m SOO excited, and also Ethal Cain needs to make a preachers daughter vinyl. My recommendation for you is the Conan Gray superache album, the vinyl has the most fun things I’ve ever seen in a vinyl!
I’m just starting my vinyl collection I think I have about 15-20 and music is just such a different experience on vinyls. My favorites to listen to are Folklore by Taylor Swift and Selena Quintanillas number one hits which is a BEAUTIFUL looking record.
That Selena one sounds like a MUST!

I used to have a huge vinyl collection and I left them with my parents and when they passed away, my sister took them. Lol. I don’t have a vinyl player at the moment but I feel it coming soon. One of my favorites was The Dark Side of the Moon and Arrival by Abba. Lol. I used to love the sound of the needle hitting the vinyl. 😊
I organize my vinyls by order I last played them. If something ends up in the far left, it's probably time to reappreciate them!

Mine is tiny, tiny, but the ‘coolest’ I have is JHope’s Jack in the Box. I have Indigo preordered and I can’t wait to listen to it and see what it looks like.
I really want a Billie Holiday album. I feel like her voice is just made for vinyl and there is an album called Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony that I think would be amazing on vinyl.
I’ve been putting aside just for some of my fave Kpop vinyls! That Jack in the Box & indigo would really be like having works of art!

Oh! I can’t believe I forgot about this because it answers your jazz question (kind of) too 🤦🏻♀️ I have Nujabes on vinyl which is a mix of soul, hiphop, and jazz. He was considered a pioneer of lo-fi or chillhop. It’s probably the vinyl I cherish the most because my cousin sent it from Japan. When found they’re typically a bit more expensive since they don’t make them in the us but I definitely recommend!

We have diff tastes, but props to the way you collect. I’m the same. I like what I like and will buy based on that premise exclusively. Music is literally my only drug/therapy. I want the rec player set up I once had :/ I’m pretty sure my current neighbors “really want “ me to have that set up too 🤣 nice special effects btw lol. Btw Grimes kicks way more ass than Billy and u know this 🤣 laters
Probably the top two vinyls that I feel like everyone in the world needs to own are 21 by Adele because duh and To Pimp a Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar because it is simply one of the greatest albums of all time.
