And the fun fact is that this video came around when I m eating dried Kiwi Rs.200 for a 100 gram Tin. I quoted the price as in assam both dried and original one is costly. Good presentation. But while showing the vines of 2 varieties (female ones) loaded with berries / fruits, you didn't mention the name of varieties that you should have done. Would have been better, had you explained the name of male variety & if in the same orchard only one male variety' s vines have been planted or more than one.

Ask your father / father-in-law, actual owner of the kiwifruit orchard to explore the possibilities of importing Golden kiwifruit plants & planting those in your orchard. Gold / golden kiwifruit is gaining popularity in New Zealand & other countries as well. The area under Gold/ golden kiwifruit is increasing compared to green kiwifruit orchards in New Zealand.

Your kiwi orchard looks wonderful. This is really great that you are growing these fruit trees organically and ecologically friendly by using drip irrigation. You definitely have advantage of inexpensive farm labor to harvest and maintain this orchard. I have 100 acres unused conservancy lot with no farming due to expensive farm labor in Washington DC. Keep up with great farming tradition as you are also helping others by bringing harvest to their kitchen tables.

Hi. Kiwi in Europe costs RS. 130/-per kg, in the season even .80 rupees a kg !!! In indian metropoliton cities 20 years ago the price paid per piece of kiwi was RS.20/-In this way kiwi farm and orchards owners have made big houses and money in Himachal Pradesh, I am European, since many years I visit India for several months every year. Since beginning I have always noticed the abnormal high price of kiwis in indian shops. I have always noticed that the price was at least 4 times higher than the price we pay here in Europe. Nowhere in India I have ever seen that it was written that the place of origin was India, it was always only said "imported from Africa". Ha, now we know it - imported from India, from Himachal Pradesh. I see that it was very nicely kept always hidden. The price what Indians always have paid for kiwis is incorrect, very incorrect !!! As per integrity and etichs it was compeatly wrong. Money made in unfairness ! All the best.

@@InderjeetSingh-vp6xb Hmmm, another Singh relative of Prakriti Singh Kiwi family. Too expensive, Inderjeet, kiwis in India should be cheaper. Kiwis are very easy to grow, like grapes. Here mangoes are sold per piece, because they are imported from Brasil and South America. Kiwis sold in India and grown in the country can not cost more than here in Europe.
