So if you inherit a family farm. The first two million tax-free, then anything over that is taxed at 20%. No, dobut some will be forced to mortgage the farm just to pay the tax bill. To be fair to the gov. The conservative government has left a hugh financial glitch that needs to be dealt with. Personally, i would make the few people with access to HS 2 rail service pay for their sixty billion pound service. 👍
Yeah thnks, its part of farming, yeah when the family sold their percent of the farm it was darn right cruel what government wanted in capitol gains, never saw anyone from government helping make this farm better, cleaner or more environmentally minded........but they sure want the gravy
