It's hard to believe John died. John changed the world for the better. It is so sad that we aren't hearing new songs from John. And beyond his music his belief in life made many of us better people.

Had this song come out in the 60s These days70s it would have been on a 45, the stations would have played it 5 or 6 times a day and probably gone to number 1. These days you have to search just to see if an artist has any new material out. Great great song.

i grew up in the 60's and remember the british invasion i will say i favored hermans hermits over the beatles still when i hear those songs i feel alittle better hard to beltive its been 40 years....we're about at the end of our ride so thanks for all the music peace and love whats so hard about it? p.s. the hermits sold more records than the beatles in 1967
yes, Peter gives it a wonderful voice 🎤, but the writer does give it the moving words and music 🎶, and deserves his credit as well ... kudos to both 💜💜 !!
I don't care for John's socialist tendencies. If "Imagine" came true, all freedom would be gone and the world would be mired in misery. Even so, he was the greatest songwriter of our generation.
