this isn’t the method for the 2013 xf 3.0 sport ...you have to access behind the wheel arch cover and take the bolt out of the lower skirt ....5 bolts from the top grill and with a ton of BS it will come out (best with two) one to deal with the housing and one to move the grill and fender....
IMPORTANT INFO for those (like me) with Bi-Xenon Headlamp : WARNING: The Xenon system generates up to 30000 volts and contact with this voltage could lead to fatality. Make sure that the headlamps are switched off before working on the system. I tried getting the bulb out after unplugging it and was a bit terrified.
How would the the headlight assembly be at 30000 volts if the entire electrical system is running at 12 volts? I think you might mean the light intensity may go up to 30000 Kelvin, right?
Thanks for this video! Saved me $100 doing it myself. 👍🏾
Very helpful, I put led headlights in my xf
Trop bien cette video
THX Bro..
two questions would this be similar in an 2008 xkr. Also I think the motor is dead in the driver's side is this repairable
What would happen if you didn't put the back screw in correctly would that cause the headlight to fall out?
