A) your hair is still blue. Not just bits, it's blonde with blue tinge to it allover B) he used bleach so you may want to change title of the video as I did it misleading
I had some green remnants on the ends of my hair from a dark blue dye and my hairdresser tried just bleach, than a color remover, than a warm semi-perm pink to try to neutralize and it didn't budge at all. We ended up throwing a purple on top as a last ditch effort. I will never go blue again lol. My hair is super stubborn though. It doesn't like to lighten much either. Your hairdresser did a bang up job Sophie!
had something similar... i had turquoise for about 2 years and wanted to get rid of the undertone that did not want to go away after a year not dying it again. i went to the salon and she thought a color remover would work even though i told her i already tried it. in the end i had to pay 200€ and my hair looked completely the same.
@@sophiehannah_ it sounds like it might be along the lines of what we would call a "high lift" color. Which you're right, it isnt as damaging as straight up lightener!
Its alot less blue....but you still see blue.... I'd really be interested of the cost of all that..... bloody expensive I'd imagine.....lol Would a silvery-grey work better... might have hidden/covered the remaining blue....maybe...or not. Who knows...lol
this was missing on youtube so i posted it I usually just let it fade as much as humanly possible and it usually is a super pale blue and I can then just put a different colour over the top. Sometimes if I’m in a hurry I do a really weak bleach bath and it gets it gone quick
@@lluviaveronica I had Joico Color intensity semi-perm Amethyst for 8 months in my hair. Re-applied every 4 weeks. When I removed it it at home, I did a mask of 30vol developer, dish soap, selsum blue, and baking soda. Worked it in and let it sit for 40 minutes and washed it out. 2 applications and done. No dye left. I did not use bleach in my mixture at all.
After years of scalp bleaching eventually I became over sensitised and I guess allergic and one day my face blew up whilst having it done. Watching it be done brings me ptsd and I can feeeel the itching!! 🤣
I had jean blue hair which is a heavy blue dye with grey tones. Did a lightening bath..lightener with 20 v peroxide plus shampoo and Lil water..took all the blue out in 30 min was left just a tiny pastel blue tint in the front but was all gone. I'd try that. Cost $20
Great video- but since I live in NY, some of the products you advertise on here and on Instagram cost a fortune in shipping since they are based in Great Britain... Any chance u can include links to products or services here in US/NYC?
Literally used bleach to get the blue out. Worked well, but the title of this video is misleading. Could have described what he did in a paragraph instead of an 18min video.
I'm confused why you would get it back to white after it being blue for so long to then put more blue on it and then ask this poor man to get it out again . Stop putting blue in your hair if your just gonna ask him to get it out after a few weeks . If I were a hair dresser I'd refuse to do your hair because you keep doing the same damn thing over and over
He’s making lots of money off of her doing it though, so I don’t know why you say he should turn her away. My hair girl doesn’t care when I come to get my hair stripped so my fresh roots don’t look funky against the faded color because it’s a pricey service and it’s easy for her to do quickly. Many hairstylists also love the process and satisfaction of doing color removals to make a perfect blank canvas.
@@abbieatchison6573 that's fair enough I would personally get sick of undoing all the blue every second visit . Don't get me wrong I love the blue it doesn't feel like sophie unless I see blue hair but i would get frustrated knowing I got rid of the blue and she just put it back again .
It wasn't a few weeks lol - the last time he stripped my hair back blonde was in April after a bad dye job I did where my hair was orange and green and so patchy. He rectified the job I did. Then all the times after that I've only ever had my roots bleached On this occasion I was like actually let's strip back to blonde as I'm going to try steer clear from blues as they're hard to get out and I like to change my hair up often. I didn't really wanna go blue but I had a job I had to have coloured hair for & the only colour that would go over the previous colour was blue because of the pigment.
Cream Lighter is Bleach. It’s just a different formula.
Exactly.
I think she mean without lightener.
Yep 👍👍
It's not got ammonia in it though which is what the damaging element is in bleach
@@sophiehannah_ no! Its not ammonia dangerous but bleach!

Lindsey Quinn everyone's hair is so different isn't it! Thank you, James did a great job! It is so hard, blue pigment is so strong

Sophie in 3 weeks: so I know I just spent 7 hours at the salon removing the blue, but I'm gonna dye my hair bluuue!
Joanne Cavallaro haha noooooo
Sophie Hannah she wasn’t wrong... ☝🏻😂
Cream lightener is just bleach as a liquid rather than powder.
Yes but where did she say it wasn’t bleach?

This cream lightener isn't damaging though compared to bleach as it's ammonia free

Si que es decoloración, simplemente se sustituye el amoniaco, se podría aver matizado con naranja, solo hay que saber hacerlo

Blues and greens are so hard to get out of hair. So are reds.
Fee Fee I've gotten blues/greens out super easy compared to oranges/reds. All depends on your hair type and how well it holds onto colour

Obviously, but you do realize that removing green is very hard right?

Sara Strange I've gotten rid of blue/greens out of my hair easier then reds/oranges. It can be done at home without paying a dam fortune as well.
I have a few times, put pink over it and once it faded it goes blonde, cancels out the green tones, it’s pretty easy doing it that way!
