    I've recently been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis in my toes ankles knees and hips and back. I'm on medication and it does help but I'm never 100% pain free. The pain isn't one place all the time it'll be in my knees for a fee weeks then my hips then my ankles. But these exercises are extremely helpful. Arthritis is the worst pain I've ever felt. I'm 29 years old and played all kinds of sports and had broken fingers and had torn ligaments in my ankle sprained my ankle had all kinds of trips and falls but arthritis is the worst pain I've ever felt. People will never know what the pain is like until they've actually experienced it. Thanks lads. Much love from Ireland 😀

    Omg I'm only 47 years old and have arthwrongis, shouldn't be arthritis because there isn't anything right about it. I had a groin injury 2 years ago. I was dragging a deer up hill to my vehicle and it had gotten hung up on some sage and I messed up and gave it a tug and bam on the ground I ended up in pain. Been watching and researching everything I can on groin pain and hip pain. The hip pain started shortly after walking like you were lol. And yes I was to proud to use a cane. Going to get one in the morning. Wife been on me to go ortho but can't take the time off work. So extreme pain everyday for last two years. You guys have been the best I've seen. And you keep it interesting, short so you don't lose viewers interest and very professional, fun, and educational. Subscribing, the best. Thanks guys!

      Although it may be bursitis or both, having difficulty on walking, going upstairs or hills, getting in and out of car. Guess I may need to have a MRI, ultra sound done. But my luck I may have both.

    This was very helpful. I was given a cane by a physical therapist and told the handle should be hip level. But, you guys said "wrist crease" level. I googled it and that's what others are saying too. Geez. 3 months of walking with a cane too high. I lowered it to the handle being at the wrist crease and it's so much more comfortable to use now. Thanks.

    Hi there,
    I have right hip arthritis and find walking quite difficult. Around 2 months ago I was house and pet sitting for a friend with a swimming pool. Started exercises in the pool morning and afternoon, and after 3 weeks pain in hip was virtually gone, making my life much happier ! As I have not got access to a pool most of the time are there any exercises I can do daily that replicates the water treatment that for me was so worthwhile. I noticed that after around 2 weeks ( without pool exercises the pain came back ) :(

    Thank you so much , I am going to try some of these exercises. I am currently taking celebrex, for hip pain, and work 50 hours a week. My biggest mobility problem is i cannot put my sock on without a struggle and tie my right shoe. Any suggestions , my dr has said i should have hip replacement but iam only 56 , and dont want to yet.

    • @LynElise25
      @LynElise25 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can actually buy a simple device to put your sock on and pull it on your foot with. I had a resident who had hip surgery and pt gave her that device. I have the same issue, trouble putting my sock on. I buy slip on shoes so I don't have to try and tie it. Do an online search and you should be able to find it.

    I'm 61and was told I have arthritis in my right hip. 8 months ago I had a cortisone shot into the hip socket. This helped, I just had a second shot, and it did nothing. I go to the gym 4 to 5 days a week. I can even run, without pain, but if I don't keep moving I get awful pain. Should I keep exercising or maybe just go and get the hip replaced?

    Hello. I have osteoarthritis in hips etc. One other place I have is in my right shoulder. I have been getting physio on the shoulder, in the hopes of getting me back to playing tennis. One exercise I was asked to do was half kneeling shoulder flexon with a stretch band . Is it okay to do if you have hip problems?

    All of a sudden I have had a floating burning, dull ache in my groin muscles, hip flexor area and tightness up into lower abdomen No sig of a hernia. Switches sides. been taking NSAIDs. I take doxy for a skin condition but no help there. I walk daily and ride my bike daily, lift weights every other day. Every step hurts. I've been doing the pillow with no help. I'll try these. I assume it's hip. But may be a groin strain.

  • @Annettesmusic

    If I may ask a question...the past few months, I have noticed my leg turning outwards. I've been searching TH-cam but only find videos to correct "duck feet" but, this is not "duck feet". It is my entire leg turning outwards. I have a "lovely" case of osteoarthritis in the back and hip and slightly in the same knee. This knew position of my leg has been causing me pain and I limp now. Ortho surgeon said I don't need a hip replacement yet so, I am wondering if there are any physical therapy moves I can do to correct this out turned leg and get it back inwards. Thanks.

    A three wheel walker with as big and thick of wheels possible allows you to stand tall when walking and is the least likely to get stopped by cracks in the sidewalk. You can also pick up speed which you can’t with a cane.
