I had a 'big ouchy' back in September and it pains me to say none of the Doctors were this much fun!
In fact, I had a consultation with a stern Ukrainian lady who expressed to me, after I had a small bout of nervous laughter, that the hospital was not for fun and games, and patients should be taking it much more seriously than I was 😳😳😳

Love the Describe Your Symptoms poster in the back! Personally, I think “Ouchy”, “Big Ouchy” and “Small Ouchy” works as a better system than what my doctor currently uses. Your attention to detail is amazing!

I had to change GPs after mine kept insisting he wouldn't send me for an MRI following a spine/hip injury that left me with permanent nerve damage: "We'd only do a scan if we were considering surgery and we won't do that - you're too young, you've not even had any kids yet!" I'd spent the last 3 months almost bedbound (and was single so not at all in the fun way)
Some times they're too busy looking at the budgets & government targets, and not at the patients actual needs - another GP told me to come back in April for the next financial year. True enough I got my MRI and specialist referral once we were on to the next year's budget! 😤
Tory cuts gutting the NHS and leaving staff without the time or money to do their jobs well.
Let alone have time for this level of glorious word play, which is a shame for all involved. Good thing we've got FAH to fill that niche 😁

Pretty normal price in Europe for a private visit at a specialist. You can go for free of course as well, but the waiting time can be killing. Sometimes literally.
I mean if you don't have a medical card then you have to pay €60 for a GP consultation, so they're actually being generous with the €50. Only people on government assistance get to visit the GP for free.
