Anyone wondering how we did this, its actually quite simple. We got Hog and paid for extensive reconstructive surgery to make him look like Foil, then an hour later we made him look like arms, then an hour later we forgot about a line foil was supposed to do, except he had gone home, so we got another reconstructive surgery done on hog. Seemed easier than calling foil back in, he lives miles away.

Hey tbf to Foil, the idea of this ‘hands off approach to gardening’ (for the bees) is actually a REAL LEGITIMATE thing. I have learnt a lot about it studying permaculture design, of which one of the first explanations of our class facilitator was ‘clever laziness’ (it’s all systems and good design really)

my suspension of disbelief tripped on this point, too.
He doesn't know french, he knows those two sentences, they're basically the first thing you'd learn in duolingo... but he doesn't know how to answer them, thus making the knowledge pointless.

Amazing, as always! Really chuckled at the French (I'm a language teacher and know so many people who make promises to themselves like this!) and the bees (our local council does nothing...I mean, loves its 'rewilding' and is clearly in it for the bees)! As a teacher, I'm also expected to self-reflect all the time. It's exhausting.

This sketch has no business being so motivational! How it tells me to set achievable goals and be nicer to myself instead of setting myself up for failure and then being sad. Plus it's a funny sketch. Full marks 10/10.
My ultimate goal for last year was not to die. It was touch and go for a bit, but overall I think I pulled through.

my husband's grandma died this Christmas and he's a big fan of yours, I should probably tactfully try and shield him from this last sketch. And yes she was one of the reasons he didn't clean the guest room/his office/workshop room. that "Didn’t do it, didn’t do it, didn’t do it, now she's dead" really hit the mark.

Today is my birthday, and I was so depressed thinking about all the things that I couldn't do/ didn't do last year. Basically like New Year's Eve but now I'm 20 and still feel like I hadn't done enough. I'm also kinda scared of becoming and 'adult' and the responsibilities and expectations that will inevitably come. But then, I saw this, and I got to say, this is just what I needed. Thank you Foil, Arms and Hog. You remind of the most important thing I should be considering, me. I know I can reach my goals! And there is still time! Thank you. Best birthday gift ever! And by the way, I love your work!!

The clever thing about this sketch is that it’s all down to our own internal monologue. Foil’s was beating himself up and berating him whilst Arms’ character was going with the flow and not taking it too seriously.

I did the language about 10%, piano about 20% and garden about 30% - COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE
I learnt a bit of the language, a sign language alphabet and then quit it all 😂, but the 13 plants are doing well in my room as I ain’t going into the cold to garden
