SoHyang is the reincarnation of trinity... Mariah, Celine and Whitney... “O holy night” from I am Singer 2 (2012) and “You raise me up” from the Immortal Song (2018).
The look on your face when the saxophone part came up 😄 This performance is part of a Korean TV show called "Begin Again". The show would normally take top Korean singers and travel to other parts of the world where they are not that well known and sing live on the street to those walking by (busking). So it's like starting over or beginning again and relying on just their natural talent.
Because of COVID, the show limited their travel to just Korea and doing performances around the country to help bring comfort to everyday people. They were visiting a steel factory here and performing for the workers. Sohyang performs several other songs on this show so you should check them out as they are all amazing.
However, if you see another Sohyang take on a Whitney classic, try her version of "I Have Nothing", also from The Bodyguard. She nails it. Mind-blowing. Make sure to use the I Am A Singer Legend DMC Festival 2015 video.

This is from the 2020 season of Begin Again Korea. It is a Korean TV show done with a group of well known artists and they change as the season goes on -I think Sohyang was on 6 episodes out of 9 They normally go around 'busking' in another country but due to Covid they stayed in South Korea, traveling around to bring comfort to the people. The small audience was done by lottery.
I nearly laughed when you asked about the saxophone because I knew exactly how that would be tackled. :D

No one can ever say that wasn't her own.
You know that was NOT the ideal setting for any performer. Singing a Whitney song in broad daylight at a rundown steel mill surrounded by tower cranes is NOT something you'd like to do. But she gave it her best shot and pulled it off somehow. FYI, 'Misty' is another piece she had done in an acoustic setting like this one and it demonstrates SoHyang could be as good a jazz singer as anyone out there. Her take on Whitney's classic, 'I Have Nothing' at DMZ festival is also stunning.

As an aside... I hate it when people refer to this as a "Whitney Houston song."
Dolly Parton wrote this song and made it a number one hit LONG before anyone knew who Whitney even was.
