ingenious is typically something so simple and overlooked but effective that when someone does it your like “why didn’t I think of that” not the same as genius that includes complex thought.
I get the premise but if you think for more than 5 seconds you realize he is saving the rest of it for later without smoking through it so its still fresh when he lights it again and yes that is pretty clever and way better than smoking half putting it out and relighting it. But nice try anyway.
@@jamesmountz2915 it's not that deep my friend. I understand it's handy but it's just common sense now come on. He cut a cigar in half he didn't split the atom. Hardly a groundbreaking genius discovery.
This hurts my soul seeing a good cigar being cut like that just cause I wish I could afford to have a cigar like that on a regular basis. I'm smoking Cuban rounds a $2 stick. Either way I love watching you guys on TH-cam. You guys are such a class act.
Heya, this is just a quick little trick from the one and only Edward Sahakian, in case you find yourself only having a longer cigar. Stay smokey my friend!
They could light their cigars from a Royal Enfield exhaust pipe on the streets of Hackney and it would still be exquisite, engaging, and something nearing full-lotus position. Bless them. Men of knowledge and men of respect. We need more men like these two fine gentlemen.
Only cigar guys can say “ that’s ingenious” after a guy cuts the amount of cigar he wants to smoke. Deli worker; “ everyone come quick, I’ve invited a new way of eating a sandwich, observe, I simply cut it into portions so I have a sandwich I can finish in one meal, and another separate sandwich for later!”
Well it’s simply not something you see people do very often. It’s nothing groundbreaking but I suppose it’s good to know that people who know their way around cigars do it. I certainly wouldn’t have done that.
It’s funny when people make stuff up for part of their hobby’s but I guess that’s what happens as you get older and have the means a nice relaxing cigar
relighting a burnt cigar taste like absolute a** no matter if you cut off the cherry or not. With a fine cigar, you want to be in a position where you can smoke the entire cigar in one setting. you also want to choose the ideal size cigar put this list for demonstration purposes if all you had was a Churchill, lancero etc
@@BuffaloNickel9 Oh ok, thanks for clarifying. I´ve only smoked cigars a couple of times before, I regularly smoke pipes, so I just pack a bit less tobacco if I don´t have time to smoke a full bowl
Listen… yes perhaps he just wants that specific cigar but with as expansive as his humidor is im sure there were many options for a 45 minute smoke that didn’t require a chop down.
I see people posting sarcastically about the concept, but forget about that. They made us look at the video and even post comments about it. I assume that's what they were aiming for. 😅
Anyone with a humidor sensibly stocked will have a cigar to meet their time constraints, if any. Davidoff, just as an example, makes every vitola for every smoking time anyone would need. There are times where all you may have is a Churchill size, in which case I would much rather smoke half of the cigar, cut the cherry when I'm done, bag it up and come back to it later that same day. With that said there's no wrong way to smoke the cigars you paid for.
You smoking it too fast. It should last at least an hour. I used to do the same. At $10 a pop I learned how to make them last. I smoke Deadwood leather roses. It's a great chocolate tasting cigar.
You just have cheap taste. I think Swishers taste like ass. After smoking higher end cigars and running out while out and about I bought a pack of Swishers and it was horrible. And I used to smoke Swishers a long time ago.
@@joetroutt7425 I don't smoke but if I did it wouldn't be any of those expensive brands. You guys just jump on a bandwagon and pretend it tastes good just to fit in with hoity toity people

What? I was told couple of times you actually burn the cigar at the end to get it kind of ashy kind of pre heat the cigar to prime it per se. I heard it doesn't taste that good if you light it like a cigarette and use a torch. Or is there a few ways to do it? And it's a preference of the person who is doing it. Or some are just myths that either way the cigar will still taste roughly the same either way. How you light it. And something about rolling your ashes till it kind of breaks apart. Not like forcing the ashes off or doing like a cigarette thing. Tapping it to whatever. I'm not a cigar smoker. I have a few times but it's not my forte or normal thing to do

@cigarsexperts I am so lucky to be from England, and yes, a gentleman should always be dressed correctly. You are correct me old chap

Not really a robusto wouldn’t smoke half as quickly
@@Rickylucas86 most robustos are about a 30-60 minute smoke. Averaging at roughly 45 minutes.
