- Having finally made it back to London, one of Kirby's first stops had to be with old friends in Davidoff of London!
However for this occasion, Kirby organised a bucket list event, a special evening with cigar legends. To share a special cigar with resident experts Eddie and Edward Sahakian, but also with author and cigar expert Nicholas Foulkes and his son Max, who works with the Sahakians at Davidoff of London, was a real treat.
Nicholas and Max have actually started their own TH-cam channel, where they share and discuss cigars and great conversation, as only a father and son can.

As a non cigar smoker that doesn’t own a suit , I find myself obsessed with the way these guys carry themselves. Sophisticated yet polite and sincere. 🙏👍

I did get a "quick" suit from Dressmann, and it fits 'nicely', but nothing on par with these suits displayed on these fine gentlemen.

If we can just appreciate the level of respect, manner and courtesy Eddie has on his father. How he sits respectfully with no feet pointing to Edward, talks modestly, helps his father on the cigar, saying thank you etc! Thanks for the inspiration Eddie!

I don’t smoke but to me the craftsmanship that goes into the rolling of a high end cigar makes each one a work of art.

Had the sincere pleasure of meeting Edward today, he was outside the store enjoying a cigar and engaged with me for a few moments of his day. A true gentleman - I don’t smoke but love watching these videos.
Same for me last week, think he's a semi-permanent fixture on St James St!

I'm blessed to have discovered the absolute pleasure of enjoying a Cigar with my father every now and then. There's just something about it.
It’s an honorable experience that not Everyman gets to experience so cherish it.
The respect Eddie has for his dad is a thing to behold.
I was deeply moved by the profound respect and affection that Eddie has for his father, which was evident in the strong bond they share. It brought tears to my eyes.

Focused bearing, impeccable attention to detail in appearance, gentleman’s behavior of not interrupting and listening, no “um’s or oh’s between sentences. Not a single annoying phone ring or interrupting notification tone - just respectful, well-thought conversation. I remember the days when you could talk well into the night as topics of conversation flowed and passed through time where you barely noticed it was almost sunrise.

Kirby, what a beautiful segment you put together. I’m 62 and am currently in Paris at Cubana Cafe enjoying a lovely Churchill short. I love the Father and Son togetherness. The only thing that could be better would be enjoying this show with my three son’s.

These gentlemen right here are the reason I got into smoking cigars. Started about a 2 months ago and I’m learning more and more each day. My dream would be to own a shop one day for I can teach others about the history and make them happy with fine products.

Met Eddie this past weekend while visiting the UK. Unbelievable customer service! Cannot recommend visiting Davidoff of London enough
Watching these videos show me the difference between the cigar culture in the US and UK, the culture in the US is like hellboy, smoking them makes you look and feel badass, the culture in the UK is more elegant, smoking them makes you look and feel gentlemen like, and it's interesting how these two cultures correlate with each other and how they are two sides of the same coin.
This is an entire world I would have no idea exists unless you had shown it to me.
I smoke a cigar maybe once every 6 months and watching this while smoking is really a pleasure.
As an American I truly love the privilege of getting a peek at the cigar culture of some of the greats in the cigar world. They truly are greats in every respect. Some of the stories in this video are second to none also. Thanks for the video! Cigars are a relatively new passion of mine and it's nice to learn in such a relaxed environment.
I’m no gentleman, yet living in California and being witness to a once beautiful part of the world dissolve into unkempt mayhem, I cherish any display of elegance, manors and craftsmanship. It reminds me that better living is a choice.

Also Kirby, horology is my true passion, I would love to see you do more videos about it. I know Eddie has an AP Royal Oak Offshore so he is definitely into it so is Hugo Jacomet, he has one of my favorite brands, Laurant Ferrier. I love watches, I just wish I had the funds to be able to explore the hobby more.

I'm American and I smoke quite a bit different. Usually alone or with one other friend. Usually at night, usually outside, quietly no talking or very little always with a glass of whiskey neat.

Fantastic hour spent watching wonderful friends just converse without any pretense. Loved the father/son discussion. My son lives in London and when I visited him in October 2021, we stopped by Davidoff of London and took a photograph sitting in the same chairs you were sitting in. Unfortunately, neither Eddie or Max were there that day, but maybe next time. My favorite cigar shop in the universe.

There are levels to fine handcrafted premium cigar and spirits. Selective boutique manufacturers like Didier Cigars is truly special. I’ve done the pairing with Angels Envy and a Salomon from Didier Cigars. The experience is truly magical and sophisticated.
Kirby, I am so beyond grateful that I’ve found your TH-cam channel. I usually watch sports segments, but the “how to light a cigar” video somehow made it to my suggested videos. I was immediately blown away by the elegance and sophistication of the Sahakians. I soon began to research you and I learned about your hangar project and aspirations to have a walk in humidor lol. I feel like I’ve been introduced to a way of living that I just wasn’t fully aware of until now. This new awareness has ushered me into the wild new journey of how to really be a gentleman.. and I LOVE it. I hope I can meet you one day and thank you in person for helping me to change my life.

These gentleman are all experts, obviously, but you can tell both of the father son duos are on a different level (watch how they hold their cigars level rather than up and down between puffs) and it is magnificent to experience. I greatly appreciate this video.
