Historical economical facts of India and China: A tale of arrogance and talking versus humility and actions.
    1) India joined WTO earlier than China. 1995 vs 2001. India had a head start advantage.
    2) India gained independence in 1947, 2 years earlier than China (civil war). India had a head start advantage.
    3) India's GDP was higher than China only because of the "British India" 's leadership.
    4) After the British left India in 1947, India could only compete against China fair and square based on their true capabilities. Please note that India's GDP is much higher than China when both received their independence. It is the Indian leadership versus the Chinese leadership from this point onwards.
    5) The GDP gap between China and India narrows down and China caught up with India during the 1980s.
    6) 1980s is a very crucial period because it is the only period in history whereby both countries started at the same starting point of the GDP race after independence.
    7) Fast forward today, China's GDP became 5+ times more than |ndia today. This is the difference between the Chinese GDP miracle versus the Indian GDP miracle.
    8) Despite all these facts, India's leaders claimed to be the "World Fastest Growing Economy" and a superpower.
    9) China's leaders claimed to be a developing country and has never claimed to be a superpower.

I think if you want someone that backs his statements and assertions with facts and figures and charts. It is not Jayant but Professor Ashoka Mody. Just a few of his charts will make anyone who has any high hopes for India shiver. For example, in the Indian national parliament 40% of its MP's are actively being charged with criminal charges. 26% of MP's are currently charged with serious crimes (defined as murder, kidnapping, and rape). India's female labor participation has been dropping while all other asian countries are increasing. Vietnam is at 92%, China at 89% and India only at 13%.

    • @HeresMyView
      @HeresMyView 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

@@cabasadefogo9533, India is the world's largest democratic country. Democracy expounds in equal treatment, freedom and equal justice but yet India never stop the Caste System in India. The Caste system encourages and promotes inequality in cultural, customs and social practices. It beats the democracy in India hands down. That is the greatest contradiction. That's why corruptions, bribes and frauds breed easily bcos the Caste System is in the cultural DNA of India. Very difficult to cure. Old practices die hard. Perhaps a Cultural Revolution is needed (like China) to revamp the system but it has be very carefully managed to prevent serious mistakes like China made.

Ok, this guy is talking too much of unnecessary things. Agree India is corrupt, inefficient in many ways. That applies to every country. Can China claim that it's the most perfect country in this world. Keeping the entire population under constant surveillance, having the false belief that Chinese civilization is the most advanced civilization. Materialistic advancement only doesn't make a country superpower. You have been able to recruit this guy only because of the opennes he got. Can that be said about your closed society?. Whatever you China has been able to achieve is because of your closed borders. Open it like India. Let free ideas penetrate in your society. Will then see, if CPC can achieve their utopian goals. A country if today is materialistically very progressive tomorrow can come down. Don't be so restless all power hungry super power nation.

Jayant is a learned man, but he is known for his anti-India stance and is frequently invited to speak negatively about India. Those who invite him share his sentiments and use his platform to propagate their own disdain. Although I was born in India and believe that Jayant's criticisms contain some truths, he portrays India as entirely evil without acknowledging any of its positive aspects. No country is entirely one-sided.
What bothers me is when problematic societies, like China, position themselves as moral authorities preaching peace. For example, despite the severe mistreatment of Muslims in China, Chinese podcasts rarely address their own government's atrocities against minorities. I believe Jayant is aware of this truth, but his intense hatred for India prevents him from presenting a balanced view. True India detractors exploit Jayant's voice to spread their message without facing scrutiny themselves.

I apologize if it seemed like I was letting him off the hook. He is indeed a smart man, but he clearly has strong negative feelings towards India. While there's nothing inherently wrong with disliking something-like how I personally dislike cats-you can't blame me for that. However, if you give me a platform to share and propagate my dislike for cats, and argue that cats are ruining society, then the responsibility also falls on you for inviting a biased individual like me.

@TingTong-mh6ns In China’s northwestern province of Xinjiang, the Uyghurs, the largest minority ethnic group, have experienced severe mistreatment. Allegations against China include crimes against humanity and potential genocide targeting the Uyghur population and other mostly-Muslim ethnic groups. Over a million Uyghurs have been detained in “re-education camps,” with reports of armed officers and a shoot-to-kill policy for escapees.

As you may have guessed from the name of the show "Rising Bharat Summit 2024", the agenda of the show was supposed to be promoting |ndia's standing on the Global Stage. However, things did not work well for |ndia and she received the shock of her life when American scholar and geopolitical scientist, Prof John Mearsheimer, said these words right into the face of the host, Palki Sharma, that "USA, Russia and China are the world's GREAT power and |ndia do not qualifies as a GREAT power". It was an utter humiliation for the host and |ndia. 🤭🤣😂Every neighbor of |ndia hates |ndia because of |ndia's expansionist policies. If one neighbor hates you, you are probably not the problem. However, if All your neighbors hate you, you are definitely the problem. |ndia IS the problem. For example,
    1) Maldives wanted "|ndia out"
    2) 2015 Nepal blockade and the |ndian annexation of Kalapani from Nepal on year 1962
    3) Afghan embassy in India shuts down
    4) 2001 Bangladesh-India border clashes and now, Bangladesh wanted "|ndia out" too
    5) Chinese and Bhutanese officials wrap up new round of border talks and agree to work towards formal diplomatic relations? India? 🤭
    6) 2013 |ndian Annexation of Moreh from Myanmar
    7) Tensions between India and Sri Lanka are on the rise as Sri Lankan fishermen complain of continued bottom trawling and overfishing by Indian?
    8) Pakistan conflict with |ndia is well documented. They don't see eye to eye.
    9) |ndia tried to invade China through forward policy and tried to play victim on year 1962 war? |ndia tried to block the Henderson Brooks and Neville Maxwell report when it was leaked momentarily in year 2014 on the internet? Why? Something to hide?
