Anyone who's experiencing motion sickness, don't give up. Play a little every day. It'll get better I promise. I started with PSVR and I used to get sick after about 15 mins of skyrim. Now I can play whatever for however long I like.
That's very encouraging,I had the original ps VR loved it but only used it twice, done me in . I've just bought the VR2 and hopefully it will be different
I received a PSVR2 bundle with Call of the Mountain, then bought the following: - Sierra squad - Pavlov - RE 4 - RE Village - into the Radius - Arizona Sunshine 2
@@jjcakes5781 Yeah i had the same problem with some of my games. Apparently this is a common fault with the vr controllers. The reason the R2 button isn't working correctly is, that some dust, grease or something in that vain is stuck on the sensor inside the controller. You can test it on the site hardwaretest. Just plug the controller in with the usb cable and if the values for R2 doesn't go to 1.0 or -1.0 that is your problem. You then need to clean it, by blowing into the creaves around the R2 button. Use your mouth or an air can. The values should then start to get near 1.0 and/or -1.0. Keep doing it until the value is stabilized at 1.0 and/or -1.0. Then try using it in a game. Worked for me. You might need to do it quite a few times, until the sensor is completely clean. Best of luck.
Even though they're older, I think the Moss games are some of the best for VR newcomers. Like Stellaris, it's a third-person stationary game so they're really not likely to make people sick. And they're some of the most charming games I've ever played. Another thing for people who just got PSVR 2 is to look into whether you already own games that have a free VR mode. GT7 and the RE games were mentioned in the video, but there are also games like No Man's Sky, Rez Infinite, Tetris Effect Connected, and Thumper. There could be a few others I'm forgetting as well. And the final tip I'd say is to look for demos of VR games and try everything. I've enjoyed games in VR that I wouldn't have played for more than 5 minutes flat. Being in a game changes the experience and it can make genres you previously had no interest in appealing. Oh and bonus tip, if you do experience motion sickness, there are ways to get past it with a little time and patience. My summarized suggestions would be 1) Try playing seated games and/or games with no artificial movement (there's a bunch). 2) Have a fan blowing on you while you play, it helps. 3) If you start to feel sick or dizzy, stop what you're doing and wait until you're back to 100% before you start again. That could be as simple as pausing the game and waiting for a few seconds for the feeling to pass, or taking the headset off for a while. Over time you'll be able to play longer and do more intense things without feeling sick, until eventually it isn't an issue at all.
Hope you enjoy it! It wasn't in the video, but especially if you're new to VR I'd also recommend you take a look at the Moss games. There's two so far and they're available on their own or in a bundle. They're third-person puzzle-platformers with some combat. They're very charming and great for VR newcomers (Moss 1 was my first VR game). Check out some reviews and if they look interesting, I'd highly recommend them.
Ha. Same. Keeping busy on the Quest 3 til then, but can't wait to dive into Call of the Mountain, GT7, and Synapse. Red Matter was a fantastic game on Quest, and a real looker. I bet it would be even better on PSVR2.
@@frozenninja4030 I haven't tried Red Matter 1 on PSVR 2 yet, but Red Matter 2 looks awesome. 120 fps, 4K textures, and it renders at higher than the display's resolution so it's super sharp looking. And the colours really pop on the OLED screen. Definitely worth giving a look, even if you've played it before. It's probably the sharpest, smoothest game on the headset.
@@frozenninja4030 I mean the quest 3 has a higher resolution and pancake lenses but I think the oled diesplay and the overall better performance with the psvr2 compensate for that.
I still haven't bought my PSVR2 but I bought a few games off PSN on sale in the past few weeks in preparation (and support the devs): Red Matter 2, Ultrawings 2, Hellsweeper VR and Cities VR. I also have like a dozen physical games. It's about damn time I buy myself a PSVR2. I'm a OG PSVR1 fan.
That's cool (crazy?) of you to buy games for a system you don't own to support the devs. Curious what physical games you have? Doesn't seem like there are a whole lot of them.
@@proZach380 There's actually a quite a few. I got: Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Village, Gran Turismo 7, The Light Brigade, Vertigo 2, Crossfire Sierra Squad, No Man Sky, The Walking Dead S&S Chapter 2, Synth Riders, Townsmen VR, Hubris, VR Skater and Dyschronia Chronos Alternate.
I wanted a vr so bad when I played a friend of Mines about a year ago horizon was beautiful! But at its $499.99 price tag I just couldn't do it. This sale was awesome, and after some gift cards used I got one for $307 with a game! You can't beat that!
I bought it. Played a couple of hours of it, and it felt like a downgraded Astro Rescue Mission. The art style didn't click with me either. I might have to give a second chance.
@alessandrocanale6189 I'll be honest, two guys at work left and between all the extra OT and the kids at home I've had no time to play it yet. But I will! And when I do, I will come back here and let you know. But a lot of the PSVR TH-cam guys have been pretty accurate so far (in my opinion) so you're probably safe trusting them.
@@quoththekraven5911 alrigth then thank you for your help and even if you forget to let me know thats not a problem after all family comes before vr I wish you a good evening
If you've never experienced VR before? Dont expect the same crisp resolution as looking at a 4k oled/Qled. But as for VR the graphics fidelity and resolution are very good. The oled gives off some fantastic brightness and popping colour. Also in horror titles the darker parts are very deep blacks. Into the radius and light brigade are both very solid games to. The really great experiences are Resi8 and 4remake. Both walkin dead SAS games. Gt7, Metro and Both Arizona sunshine games. Along with Behemoth and Aliens you're gonna have a cracking Christmas period. Prepare to be blown away!

Its from the oled lenses. Some games will be more noticeable than otheres. You'll get used to it and will hardly notice once you get into your game. Its the unfortunate trade off for having oled, but the upside is much brighter and vibrant colours along with very deep blacks. (Great for horror games)
Hey guys. I just want to tell y’all that I have to psvr2, I have allot of games. I love. But I wish they put more top line games on it like GRAND THEFT AUTO, CALL OF DUTY, NEED FOR SPEED etc. I have GT 7, but I wish Sony PlayStation would also yaw 2 and yaw 3 racing rig to work on their console. I am thinking to build a motion racing rig, but not sure if I can get it work on the ps5. I have roller coaster games, resident evil, etc. apart from the vr2 games, I have war hammer etc. vr2 is nice, just wish I can have a rig

We are always looking for new players on Firewall Ultra. Even though the game is no longer getting new content we still enjoy playing what is there
I gave up on it early on. The first one zero hour was amazing tho.
Why should I get it? (Actually considering, not being hateful. 😅)
Is there still a decent player base?
