I’m a 2002 baby, but my dad who was born in 1968 introduced my brother and I to classic rock at a young age. And Three Dog Night specifically for whatever reason was our “traveling music”. My dad would put his CD in and blast the radio to wake us up. So I woke up to “JEREMIAH WAS A BULLFROG” on the days we were going out on vacation. I always wondered why he did but now when I hear these songs they’re associated with good memories.

Couple of us went into a bar for a beer and there’s a jukebox and the first song out of it was “never been to Spain” what a great way to be 18 and in a foreign country for the first time.

Great song - it's one of those 'you were there' type memories songs. For me, that experience was in an 8th grade music assembly in 1972 (George Fox Jr. High School) when a girl named Cindy Pavlic sang this song. She actually did a great job with it, and my friend at the time Glenn Johnson fell in love with her. I am not sure where Cindy and Glenn are these days - it's been a long time. Maybe one or both passed on, but I will always remember this great song by that memory. Lots of influences in this song - rock, country, gospel - really a master piece!

Another thing somebody posted on here really hit home. "It's worth it to be old now, to have been young then. " Ain't it the truth! I was born in '63 and can remember "the good old days". I remember when this song came out; which would've made me 8 years old.
