1000% heck if I was op and my “friend” betrayed me like that I’d also tell her parents next time I’m at church so they know what kind of “good” daughter they think they have.
Now that is a faithful man. He was totally telling his girlfriend about the crazy "BFF" sliding into his DMs. Mad props to him, and major brownie points. 😁
I always tell my husband about the weirdo guys sending me DM’s. He laughs at them too. I had one where a guy was asking to be my sugar daddy, he said go ahead so he can get some money too. 😂
Fun fact I just discovered today, my boyfriend always lowers the volume to whatever he's watching (tv, phone, laptop) to listen to me watching Charlotte's videos. He's trying to be sneaky like he's not a fan 😂 (I've caught him laughing at some of her comments before) Honey I know you're a closet potato queen😂 I asked him to come sit with me so we could watch together and this man zoomed to joined me in the couch. Love you Charlotte ❤❤
8:00 As someone who lost a parent while in high school & worked in customer service at the time, I'm not even mad. Sometimes customers need to be reminded that the people serving them...are poeple. And emotional labor should be a 2 way street even when paying for a service.
Also, the whole “automatic gratuity for x-number party” is perfectly fair, imo, because even if they give mediocre service, large parties are still a LOT of work, and a lot of restaurants also have a policy where the servers tip out the back of the house - the chefs and dishwashers and busboys are also busting their butts for those large parties, so I can’t be too mad that you expect the guests to ensure they all get fairly compensated (and, as long as tipping culture is still the norm, that’s how it’s gonna be)
@@phastinemoon I remember me and husband some time ago went to our favorite place. There was a party of 10-12 people. It was a little over $80 check at the time. They left $6-8 for the tip. The Waitress was the only one serving them with a few other tables and it was a busy night!
Many years ago, I was in line at the market and extremely, and obviously, very pregnant. The woman ahead of me turned and squealed, “ Oh! How far along are you?!” while reaching for my stomach. Being sick and tired of being fondled, I looked her dead in the eye and said, “I’m not pregnant. It’s a tumor.” She looked horrified and couldn’t leave because all of her groceries were already on the belt. She refused to look at me and left as quickly as she could. When she left, my husband burst into laughter and asked why. I said I was tired of being touched by strangers. I’m POSITIVE that woman NEVER did that again.
Love love love ... I once told a persistent guy in a club, I had a new prosthetic and was not comfortable dancing ... he was so gentle with me the entire evening.
I'm overweight and I carry most of my weight in my stomach area. I have been asked MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY times how far along I am. I look them straight in the eyes and say "Oh...I'm not pregnant, I'm just fat," then STARE at them intently until they uncomfortably look down or walk away.
@@lookslikeanangel ugh. People suck super hard. I’m sorry many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many people can’t just mind their own damn business.
I can't get over how many pregnant women are telling stories about how soon many strangers feel entitled to touch someone's stomach!?! Like what the f! Just because some lady is pregnant is NOT a reason to get grabby! Which is how a number of pregnant ladies refer to it, in my experience. I can't imagine any other time it would be okay to do that!? I never have done that but I guess my parents did a better job of teaching me respect for others.
So my mom DID actually pass away before this story. I was a concierge at an upscale 4 star hotel, and it was my first day back after taking a month to take care of my moms estate and things. I'm an only child so it was pretty traumatic. I was her power of attorney and had to make the decision to take her off of life support. So day one, midway through my shift, this woman comes storming across the very large lobby, stomping across the marble floor, with a white glove in her hand. She started yelling about 10 feet from my desk. "This is absolutely disgusting! Do you see what this is?!" She threw the white glove on my desk. She pointed to it like 30 times and goes, "look! Look! Do you see that?!" There was a very light, almost imperceptible amount of dust on one of the glove fingers. She had white gloved her room trying to find dirt. So she is sitting there red faced and I just looked from the glove, to her, glove to her. She goes, "sooooo how are you going to compensate me? My vacation is ruined!" Now I am a professional, but after the last month, my whole view on life and happiness changed so I said, "ma'am, (dramatic pause) my mom just passed away. So if this is the WORST thing that is happening to you right now, I consider you very fortunate." Her jaw dropped, eyes went big. I said, "if you'd like me to have housekeeping reclean your room to make your stay more comfortable, I can arrange that for you immediately." She just silently shook her head no, and said, "sorry." Quietly as she backed away, avoiding eye contact. No one complained so.... Win win? Lol
Good for you. She needed that reality check. And bravo for taking care of your mom and her estate as an only child. The paperwork alone feels like a mountain. Mad respect.
@reaganne1933, my deepest condolences and sympathies to you. That must have been an emotionally difficult decision for you to make, and my heart goes out to you. You were there for your Mum when she needed you the most and it was due to your love for her that she is at peace. Sending you virtual hugs 🤗🤗🤗!!
I love how she said she was trying to loyalty test him. Like bro if that was the case you would've sent her the screenshots instead of meeting up with him 🤷♀️
I was an MA for an ophthalmologist and I had this really horrible patient. She hounded me so badly that I finally told her the truth, my mom had died 2 days before (I was a single mom and had no choice but to work) and instead of feeling bad she preceded to tell me I was heartless for working, I was the worse daughter, my mom must be so disappointed in me, thank God she wasn't around to see how bad of an employee I was, etc. The doctor finally heard her and stepped in to save me. She never came back.
This enraged me. I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am that you had to endure this right after your mom passed away. That woman lives in a hell existence of her own choice and wants everyone to be there too. God bless you.
@@redwoods7370 it has been almost 10 years since she past and your comment touched me so much. Thank you for writing a response. It really made my day.
I completely agree with Charolette on the subject of normalizing “being happy for other people when great things are going on in their lives.” For me personally I always feel much better about myself & just happy in general when I show genuine happiness for others. It gives me hope & appreciation for when/ if anything great is going on in my life. ❤
It’s absolutely normal to be envious of someone else…but you can also be happy for them at the same time. I fell like the older you get, the easier it is ❤
For the waiter, the woman technically lied about the service first. She said “the mimosas were all juice” then when he says his mom died she says “I have no filter when I’ve been drinking all day.” So the mimosas weren’t all juice then….
They had probably been to other places earlier in the day doing the bachelorette bar crawl. By that point your tongue is usually part numb from all the alcohol and your sense of taste is diminished.
Good catch! Also, gratuities are included for places like that, from a friend who was a server in Key West, because in many other parts of the world, they aren’t required to tip. Also, with large parties, times will be longer, making tips harder to come by and they’ll be serving fewer tables, and he wasn’t even the one making the mimosas most likely.
@@StandardGoosemimosas are usually served with brunch and so, therefore, was likely the only drink she’d had, especially when in many places they cannot legally serve alcohol until after a certain hour.
@@thomasjoseph5876 It's called manners and I have been doing the same to everyone from taxi drivers to bus drivers and flight attendants since I was old enough to walk. My now ex-husband once asked me why I was so nice to them - they were just doing their job - I just looked at him and said - "Would you prefer I spit in their face? Why not thank someone for doing a good job? Why not put a little sunshine into their day? You don't get extra brownie points for being an asshole!" He had a habit of being a dick to servers if there were water stains on glassware or cutlery and would make digs about getting us clean replacements. I used to feel embarrassed for him and would apologise to the servers. He just never understood. I taught my daughters that the way a man treats the servers in a restaurant or other service staff, is a good marker for how he will treat you when the gloss is off the relationship....

The waiter story reminded me of another story . A man got into a train with three unruly kids and they started making unnecessary noise . The man didn't seem to care when the children were creating a ruckus in the train and was staring into the distance . After a short while one of the other passengers got angry and asked the man to control his kids . The man replied apologetically that they were coming back from the hospital where his wife and mother of the kids had breathed her last and he was taking the train because he couldn't bring himself to drive . The kids were pretty young the eldest less than 5 years and they didn't know how to process the situation . The other passengers jumped in to help the man with his kids while the passenger who had initiated the conversation did not forget for the rest of his life . The lesson he said he learnt that day was not to jump to hasty conclusions and react abruptly in the beginning itself .
Also, I have to remind myself that Charlotte isn’t American when she says things about tipping. Wait staff can make around $2/hr without tips. Of course there’s an automatic gratuity added after a certain number of people in a party, the more people in a party the less likely they are to actually tip their servers, because they think someone else will cover the tip
@@dimsufferer9951 $2?!?! ONLY $2?!!? MY GOSH that's rough. I didn't even realize it was that low. No wonder like a week ago when my parents and I went to a nice restaurant and my dad tipped the super nice waitress $75 (more than 50%), she almost blew up with happiness and gratitude. Like you could see it on her face, going red with the smile. It made me smile so wide too! It's funny because at first my dad only joked about giving $75, but then my mom and I both were like "ooo yes cmon do it, she was super nice and attentive!" and then my dad was like "heheh! alright then" and then when he wrote it and gave it to her like "this is for you" she was like "oh my gosh thank you so much!" In my opinion she definitely deserved it for how lovely she was! She even had a small conversation with us about the concert we were going to afterwards, and asked about the music artist, which I recommended to her and she said she'd definitely check him out. CG5, btw. Made me so happy! She also recommended certain items that she loved on the menu and we tried them and agreed, and had fun little moments! Part of me wants to go to the same place again around the same time just cause I loved her so much! It's a shame that they don't get paid that much 😵💫
@dims, as an American I am sick and incredibly angry that the industry STILL allows this form of exploitation to carry on for too many decades!! The restaurant owners are fully capable of paying a living wage!!! The other staff members are paid so why can we NOT pay wait staff as well???? In addition, wait staff have to share their tips with other employees who ARE paid an hourly wage but not wait staff!!!! The US has been allowing companies to allow these travesty’s to continue as the owners of restaurants, as well as major corporations, to keep a minimum wage suppressed for decades while they ALL are gathering the greatest amount of wealth. It’s time for the US to stop giving in to corporations and to stand up for ALL American workers!!

Michigan native here, the sand dunes (Sleeping bear dunes) is a HUGE tourist attraction! The ATV-ers LOVE them and they are BEAUTIFUL to see. If you can go down it is worth it but it is NOT for the faint of heart bc the sand does work against you on the way up.
Michigander here. Having visited once and going down to the beautiful water of Lake Michigan is amazing. BUT, you don't realize how HARD it is to CLIMB back up until you start. It is crazy hard. $3k... is almost worth it, lol.
a handful of years ago me and my family were at a restaurant- our server came to the table and she was just so sweet and kind to us kids and also really cool to my parents. Keep in mind, my family is pretty religeous, ande around this point in time, we decided whenever we would go out to eat (and still today) we ask our server if they have anything personal that they would like us to pray for when we bless our food. Usually people say "oh nothing, thank you" and walk away, but sometimes the server says they would appreciate something being brought up in prayer, like a sick relative, their kids, their parents, people who are mourning that they know, anything. Even if our server isnt religeous some of them appreciate it and some of them just say no and thats totally fine, we just like to offer just in case. This was the first tie we had ever done something like that, so we figured we would ask our server. Well, when she brought our food we asked her if she would like us to pray for her, she burst into tears. she told us that she was struggling to pay her bills, working two jobs, and that she had a bunch of other things going on. my mom gave her a hug and we ended up praying with her while she cried before we all ate. after we finished eating I saw my parents wispering about something before the check came. later as we were leaving our server came up to us and hugged my parents crying and thanking them. I found out years later that my parents tipped her $500 for our under $60 bill to help her make ends meet. You never know where someone is in their lives, every time I'm interacting with a server or customer service worker I always remember that those poeple might be going through something whether they're rude or not, and sometimes they just need a little bit of kindness, consideration, and patience.

Can I just say that the first ladies boyfriend is amazing for IMMEDIATELY telling her her "best friend" was trying to hook up with him? That's pretty awesome
@daisy9910 I wouldn't think it was amazing if it was what guys actually do. What people -should- do in a situation and what they choose to do are usually different in my experience. So yeah, my expectations are low.
I do grocery delivery, and back in February I was shopping for a delivery when I got the message from my mom that my uncle had passed. I took a moment to process and continued on… I got to the customer’s house and the lady asked how my day was, and I said something to the effect of “well my uncle just passed away about half an hour ago, but otherwise it’s been ok” later I noticed she added a $25 tip… was not expecting that at all, but was definitely appreciated
“This looks like something a goat would eat!” “I’m not a horse!” The guy’s reactions were so funny! Especially considering his wife/girlfriend was really mean to him. I took my daughter to a drive thru zoo when she was about 10y or so. The emus were like a pickpocket gang! One would stand in front of the vehicle while the others would accost you from the sides...LOL! She was totally unbothered by the bison sticking his head in the car (I worked at the zoo the bison came from and she already knew he was a sweetheart). The cows and giraffe were no issue, but the emus were a PTSD starter! She is 32 now and still has anxiety about EMUS! Her husband thinks it is silly and she tells him, "YOU JUST WAIT UNTIL I TAKE YOU TO THE EMUS!"
My family would walk through the "bird barn" at the state fair as a kid and having already previously encountered multiple attacks from several bird species on the farms, the bird house always filled me with major anxiety lol, I can't imagine having to encounter loose thug emus- that would probably require trauma therapy 😂

Over time, he introduced me to his girlfriend, also an online relationship. I friended her. It's very simple to have relationships with people of the opposite sex without any appearance of cheating. The end.
Lets all agree forever to not EVER change someone's order or control what they eat. Reminds me of the guy who put his hand in his girlfriend's food just to make sure she ordered what he wanted her to order
i seen recently a posting where someone's bf of about 6months asked his gf to gain weight (200+kilos) cuz he's into thicker ppl and i was thinking the whole time how controlling that is and how difficult it would be to lose it all after he dumps her (cuz that cant possibly go in a better direction)... so yea i agree, everyone eat what they want, be as healthy as they want and dont screw with food! lol
Yeah, if someone did that to me, I'll be like "Oh I didn't realize you were so hungry for salad that you told the waiter/waitress I wanted that. Here you go 🥰", give them the fluffin salad, and if they try that shish again, im leaving
Oh good, other people agree that trying to control someone like that is messed up. I would be PISSED if anyone did that to me. A bf? Oh they would immediately be dumped because that tells me that they are toxic and probably abusive
Right?! Show of hands how many women have had their boyfriends tell the waiter that they'll have a salad instead of real food? Every time I see that happen I wanna walk up to them and say "So I guess you're having a salad too huh? You could stand to lose a few pounds too."
I’m definitely using the “sorry my mom died.” It’s true but it was 22 years ago, I feel like it still works. Lol she’d laugh, I know it. I miss her so much.
That one where e said his mom died brought back memories from Meijer when I worked in the meat department. It was Mother's Day and the Rib Eye steaks were not fully cut in half to separate TWO pieces/steaks so they were a heart shape. EVERYONE besides this one guy said two steaks as in the whole heart shape. He says one steak so I grab a meat knife to cut it in half and he goes off on me about how it's clearly one steak because it's in the shape of a heart for mother's day, his wife and son were with him. So I'm literally on the verge of tears because I'm a survivor of domestic abuse and being screamed at by a man triggers bad memories, and I see a coworker coming to take over for me because they can tell I'm about to have a mental break down/panic attack so I just burst into tears exclaiming "Well not everyone has both parents still!" and rush off to the meat cutting room to get into the meat cooler so I can try and calm down. While it is true and I don't have both parents it's my father who died so it wasn't a full lie. Later when I was finally calmed down all the way the coworker told me the man kept apologizing after his wife scolded him and the few people, I think somewhere between three and five people, that were also waiting at the counter for meat gave him dirty looks at my outburst. And no I didn't think about saying it when it came out, it just came out.
If I were the woman who got the bad haircut, I'd go back and speak to the owner. Not only did she not get layers, her bangs were completely uneven! That needs to be fixed immediately, and her next haircut should be free!!
Same experience in early 80’s. Cut my own hair ever since. He said he knew what was best for me after I gave instructions - obviously didn’t listen then handed me the blow dryer telling me he can’t deal with my curly hair.
That lady on the plane tho! 😂😂😂 “After you belt me in…I need you to rub my feet, give me a pedi, then I need to you to read me a bedtime story, and LOUDLY!” Superpower: She cannot hear people right next to her, but hears people “taking the Lord’s name in vain” at the other end of the plane! 😂😂😂😂
The number of times I’ve wanted to teach someone a lesson in humility and compassion as a server…. Not saying it’s the most moral thing to do but that guy’s story gave me so much satisfaction. I think he really did make that woman think twice about how she treats service staff in the future.
13:24 Why are we like this? We get a bad haircut and say nothing. Don't tell them, "Wait. Stop. I asked for ...." Wish I'd stuck to my guns and told mine it wasn't short enough. Now I have to go back and get another trim! So expensive.
I was a hairdresser, and I always made sure I asked how it was going during, when I was "done" I would have them look into mirrors and let me know right then if they wanted anything else before we cashed out. I always appreciated the honesty.
As someone who was a server to rich and entitled people for years I applaud that server for de-escalating. No one deserves to be treated that way. Maybe that woman will become a better person.
When I was working as a server & 8mo pregnant, I got sooooo tired of people asking me “when are you due?!” “Are you having twins”?! Etc… that after awhile I started replying to those questions by tearing up (thanks pregnancy hormones!) & quietly saying “… but I’m not even pregnant.”😅 despite the fact I’m 5 ‘ 3” & was still petite aside from the giant belly, folks would go white & profusely apologize & I’d scurry off looking deeply hurt…

@@anyaroz173 I can imagine how hurtful that would be! 🥺 I’ve struggled with weight my entire 39 years of life, it’s always been up & down & all over the place, and because I am otherwise rather petite, when I do put on (non-pregnancy) weight, it’s very noticeable… even 5lbs. I'm only 5'1" so I "showed" early . One day in the grocery store, a woman loudly exclaimed, "haven't you had that baby yet?" I said, "yeah, I'm having another one".
I was a waitress all through college. I needed those tips to survive. There are bad servers, but lots of times if you're getting bad service it's because of something the server can't control - like they're really busy & short staffed, or the bartender screws up the drinks, etc.

I'm very glad my part of Australia doesn't have emus. A hundred or so years ago people in the state of South Australia were trying to build farms away from the coast in emu territory. The emus wouldn't stop raiding the farms, so the farmers started shooting them, but emus are very hardy and just about impossible to kill with a shotgun or non-automatic rifle (which was just about every gun at the time), so they were getting nowhere. The army ended up getting involved, and everyone kept shooting until they ran out of ammunition. In the end, the emus won. After about a million rounds of ammunition, the South Australians gave up and built their farms elsewhere. We call that whole mess the Emu War. 😂
Speed chickens are fine, they may be kinda creepy up close but mostly harmless. They're, pretty much, a chicken. Now a cassowary, thats nightmare fuel. Think of them as an emu on meth with the ability to REALLY mess you up, and few people have ever survived a cassowary attack, those who have didn't live well. Good news is they're only in northern Queensland, NT, and some of the northern islands. The Emu War is a hilarious embarrassment, it was a complete screw up from the time it started!! I mean, not for the farmers of course, but in retrospect. The reason the army got involved was because the farms involved were given to the farmers, who were veterans of WWI, and was supposed to be their fresh start. It was in the pastures north of Perth, and the army had ONLY 10,000 rounds of ammunition.

For the lady who swapped her husband's order, I think it's almost on par with the guy who put his hand in his girlfriend's food to mess it up as a TikTok prank. Abhorrent. If a man cancelled his wife's order and got her a salad, the internet would go off. As a fat feminist, I am enraged on this man's behalf. xD
The only way it would be justified as a prank would be if she kept his original order to be brought out as soon as she got his reaction to the salad, and if she actually ate the salad, not waste it.
I have a theory that walking into a salon with extra long hair infuriates stylists. Last one I went to gave me a trash cut-it's been almost a year and it's still a trash cut. I have wavy hair, heavens forbid you ask for a dry cut-the anger I got-why? Going to go back to doing my own trims, skipping the attitude and incompetence while saving $$$.
Hell yeah! I've had people tell me how I should cut my hair or tell me not to cut it too short. I had one hairdresser give me a completely different cut because she didn't like a short shag because her daughter just got one. Hairdressers that use thinning sheers when I request them not to. Hairdressers that wet cut when I ask for dry cut. One that called over a colleague for help. I'm due for a haircut, but I don't want to spend $70 and get something I know I will hate. Thick curly hair must be challenging. I often ask random people on the street who have nice haircuts and a similar hair type where they get it cut. The majority say they cut it themselves.
I've asked for a trim with long layers at least 4 times and gotten a completely different haircut each time. One lady used a razor blade all around and never touched scissors, I had the worst split ends after.
When I was 18 I went to get my hair cut. My hair was down to my waist, so I said I want a long shag. Keep the length please. 1st cut 3" from my scalp. Ended up with a short shag. Which is one of the reasons I became a stylist. I never wanted anyone to experience that themselves. While in beauty school a girl came in with really long hair - all one length. She wanted bangs, I tried to talk her out of them, but she insisted. Finally one of the instructors came over and asked what was taking so long and I told her. She asked the girl, you want bangs, the girl nods, the girl got bangs! Next day she comes in with her boyfriend who wanted to string my ass up, then the instructor that did the actual cut came over and asked if there was a problem. She had lied to her boyfriend and said I had cut it. When he found out he apologized and drug her ass out the door. The instructor shrugged and walked away. That taught me a lot. I'm retired now but still cut my own hair when I can, because I hate paying for a bad cut. My friend who still does hair is always really busy so it's hard to get in to see her. Good luck in finding a stylist that will listen. When mine was long, I cut it myself. So I get it.
@@HungryOrca she did it wrong obviously, but you should tell the stylist you do NOT want a razor cut. That is usually saved for short hair or someone who has very fine hair. Done properly there isn't any split ends. Sounds like she was dragging the razor instead of cutting. Sorry you got a bad cut.
She cancels his order and tells him it's because he needs to go on a diet and everyone thinks it's funny...he does that and he's controlling and abusive.

Your make-up is awful!” Firstly, she was beautiful. Secondly, her make-up was beautiful. Thirdly, what kind of assh*lish thing is that to say to anyone? Another co-worker was helping a customer trying to find a book that the computer said was in stock but wasn’t on the shelf. She looked all over the department because people would take books off the shelf and put them back in the wrong place or they could be on the returns cart or something. The woman was being a real bitch about it. But my friend was trying to placate her while looking. Finally she ran to the basement to Shipping to see if it was on the shelves to be returned to the publisher. There is was. So she ran back up with it out of breath and said “Whew! Let me catch my breath. It was in the basement…” The woman sneered at her and said “Well you look as though you could do with the exercise…” It was disgusting. Quite apart from her just having torn the store apart looking for this book for the woman, even if she HAD been overweight (she was NOT), what kind of person says something like that??? It was really upsetting to my friend because she bent over backwards for customers and did not deserve that insulting crap directed at her.
The last one “salad forced upon you”. I missed where he forced her to have a salad. Also her adding an A to the end of each entrance is a nope from me. “It’s saladA”. “It’s good for youA”. “We need to go on this dietA”. Lol
No no no the woman complaining about the service was doing it to get the gratuity removed. I say this because I know someone who does this every. time. they go out to eat. It’s so bad people actually refuse to go out with her. Someone I know went out with her recently and had to go up after the check and PAY EXTRA in tips and apologize for her atrocious behavior!!
The woman with lovely hair 13:00 went from early 20's... to mid 40's one salon visit! XD I learned when I was 18, that you ONLY go to a salon where there is someone who is experienced in cutting LONG hair. I even up with long hair, but a bob cut to just above my jaw... this was their idea of 'layers'... mum took me to a better salon and I walked out with a Jon Bon Jovi looking mop that I was supper happy about (after I washed it, and it was the mid 90's XD)
I was friends with my high school best friend's boyfriend. She would break up with him to date other guys, then go back to him when she couldn't find someone else. He got tired of it after five years of this, so we started dating and we are now married for 25 years and have two kids.
I actually saw my mom fat shaming someone online. I'm bigger and it really hurt to see it. I think people should just think about what they're saying to people online. If you wouldn't say it to them in person, don't post it on the internet.
tbf you're mom is probably looking at you through "mom eyes" & may have been insulting them (on anything and everything) because she doesn't like them.
I’m sorry. If someone changed my order at a restaurant, I’d be pretty pissed off, too. I sincerely think it’s wholeheartedly disrespectful. Don’t like it.
@@Sharki_V That’s a pretty tall leap to a completely nonsensical conclusion there, buddy. Considering the fact that she said she did it “to get his reaction“, nothing there gives any indication that he’s done that to her.
So that Sand dune is Sleeping Bear Nationa Park. It's absolutely beautiful, but for some context about that sign, the top of the dune is level with the clouds over Lake Michigan. You're super high up, and they've had to reacue people who were dumb enough to climb down without realizing how far the bottom really is, or how steep the dune really is. So, they finally said enough spending our own resources rescuing you, you get to pay to be rescued because you made the decision to climb down. It's gorgeous, but I wouldn't climb down more than 50ft. ❤️
The sand dunes are at Sleeping Bear Dunes. I visited there in June while on vacation. It a 450 feet drop and its quite steep. It's hard to tell from pictures and videos how steep it actually is. Climbing up a dune is exponentially harder than going down one. They have another area of the park that has a dune climb that people can safely climb and even that is a work out.
I had beautiful hair a woman destroyed. I asked for five inches removed and she took off over a foot. She asked how short I wanted my bangs and went to start cutting wherever she wanted, and I stopped her, left, and cried. I'm still not okay. It's been like six months. I won't wear my hair down.
one time a lady that worked at my school as a yard helper at recess gave me trouble and i told her she couldnt call my mom because she died. little did i know she WORKED WITH MY MOM LOL, needless to say my mom came home with some questions about how she died the next time she worked with the lady lmao
Last video: changing someone's order is not only disrespectful but also controlling. If situations were reversed, and it had been done to the wife, the majority of this comment section (Charlotte included) would be justifiably up in arms. Just my two cents. 🤷♀️
I haven't seen any comments condoning his behavior. Quite the opposite. I mean, come on. Give people a little credit. I know, it's trendy right now, to just assume that 'all women this' or 'all men that', but that's not how the world actually works. Most people do actually have a fairly good grasp on what is ok or not ok, when it comes to treating one's partner or spouse or bff. Male or female. There are disrespectful/manipulative/controlling etc people of both sexes. But usually on a channel like this, which doesn't have an 'extreme' viewership, people will pretty much agree and agree quickly on 'who is the asshole'. And often enough that's going to be a woman, because...sometimes women are assholes. This is really not a channel, where you will find a lot of gender bias.
I'm pretty sure that's a joke and if my boyfriend did that to me we'd just laugh about it. Some people have a sense of humour especially in a relationship. It really isn't that deep
I am frankly so tired of people joking and pranking because it's funny. Do not pull pranks and definitely DO NOT mess with my food!! My husband would get a one way ticket to hell. And he's even worse than I am. If I would change his order it would probably be the last thing I messed with in his life. This joking and pranking culture has to stop. It's plain rude and disrespectful.
@@Diskidiva23How the fuck is doing that and saying “we need to go on a diet” funny? He clearly doesn’t want to and should not be forced into her bullshit.
That sign is at the Sleeping Bear sand dunes in Michigan, (by Traverse City), along Lake Michigan. The dunes go on for a long distance (feels like a mile).
The boyfriend in the first story is a keeper. Immediately showed his girlfriend the messages and plotted with her to catch the “friend.” Also, I hope that the lady with the bad haircut didn’t pay for that.
I was 21 years old going to my first hair salon. Everyone said this lady was the best. Now get this I had hair down to my knees. I asked her for a trim. About 2 to 4 inches off. She told me it might be a little bit more. I was thinking 6 to 8 inches then. I said okay. Everyone in the salon heard that. The next thing I know. She cut my hair above my shoulder. About 4 feet of hair was cut off, I was upset to say the least. I was screaming at her that I will not pay for it. I asked for inches Andy she cut of feet. I hate going to hair salons. Ever since that lady did that I don’t trust anyone. I did not pay her. And everyone heard me. It was above my shoulder and she never washed my hair either. I was crying and angry. No one cut my hair but my mother always cut my hair. She was a beautician.
My hair is currently waist length, and this is my nightmare. My hair is not colored and hasn't had any chemical treatment. When I had a trim, I was so nervous, and the woman who cut my hair told me if I needed to get a short haircut, to sell her my hair to make a wig. My fear is that the hairdresser will do what she did to you and just chop my hair off and make a wig out of it to sell for extra bucks.
I went to my regular hairdresser after I was no longer able to work due to a permanent medical issue. While we talked I told her about it and said I guess it's time for me to retire. She cut my hair so short it looked like an old man's hair. When I got upset she said she thought she was doing me a favor so I wouldn't have to get it cut again soon. Needless to say, I never went back and dragged all my bandanas out that I used to wear when I was a chef.
The sand dune guy is a whole ass mood 🤣 I’m kind of suspecting that the “mom just died” woman was just complaining to complain , there really wasn’t any problem
I’ve been a Michigander my entire life. I have been to Sleeping Bear Dunes many, many times. It’s absolutely gorgeous (that video really didn’t show that) and well worth a visit. I remember going all the way down the dunes as a teenager and it taking HOURS to climb back up. It really doesn’t look like it would be that bad when you’re looking at it from the top. My adult self really felt for that man that conked out climbing back up. I hope he made it 😊
Make them feel bad for being assholes! I had a man mumbling his name to me at the pharmacy I work at. When I asked him to repeat for the 3rd time, he yelled it. That’s when I told him I’m hearing impaired and wear hearing aids (which is true) He looked so mortified and apologized 😂
Life has been so stressful, I haven't been really watching stuff like this but I LOVE Charlotte & have been binging these the last week ornso ---Love ya girl
Hey Charlotte, I am going through a really tough breakup right now and I've been binge watching your content to keep me distracted and laughing. Thank you for helping me get through such a tough time.
11:12 the leash was how my mother never lost me. I have no sense of direction so wise to her. Incase you were wondering how directionally challenged I am I got lost in the doctors office that I had been going to for years I was 18 at the time it was 200 hundred square feet at most.
My youngest had a habit of running like a little Flash. At home in calm Sweden, no probs. At Crete? Deadly. So, a dog leash and a harness for his protection. EVERYBODY laughed. But, he is turning 18 next, so a success. /Catta
I'm retired now. I still hear this story about when I was 4 or so. I was an escape artist. In department store all it took was one unguarded second and I was gone. All the managers knew my name! At one of the managers suggestion, and in desperation, my mother tried a leash and harness. I immediately dropped to all fours and started barking at everyone.😂 No more leash! I don't remember it at all, but I still sometimes have daydreams of being a werewolf.🤔
I was in high school and visiting family out of state. My nephew, cousins son, was waiting in line with my mom and I while my aunt and cousin were trying some things on. He wandered off to find his mom and grandma and we didn't notice until he was a good distance away and someone saw him. I had to take off like The Flash and run him down. He didn't seem that far away, but dammit he could MOVE!
Back in the 90s when things were a little different my mom ha a wrist leash. My sister and I didn't get along very well, so Mom would put one of us in the seat, and the other on the leash. The seat kid didn't have to walk, but the leash kid could get a little distance away without bugging mom or getting lost.
As a male INFJ-T (Introvert), I quite literally don’t comprehend how other men simply can’t control themselves revolving around messaging other women if they’re in a relationship or married. I’m currently single by choice. I need a break and simply don’t like dealing with people or drama. So It’s hella easy to ignore or simply not respond to dating or social media app messages. Especially if they’re thirst traps or kinda creepy.
Hey man, I get it. I've wanted a partner my whole life (I'm 32) and there are a few reasons why I'm single (among others: introvert, social anxiety, utterly blind to any advances... except a month later after it doesn't matter anymore!!) The drama is a necessary evil these days, but its sooo tiring.
I am a woman 32 single all my life. I avoid all the messages. I just don't want to date anyone. And yes it's clearly very easy to avoid messages like that
I remember the first time I saw this video on MTV. I was on the way out the door and it stopped me dead in my tracks. I was transfixed, and I’ve been a devote Chris Cornell fan since. His loss is still heartbreaking. 💔 He also sang in Temple of the Dog. Hunger Strike is one of my favorites.
Now that you have watched the queen of petty potatoes , you can go study now without being worried you missed her video.😊 you've got this!my fellow petty 🥔🎉🎉🎉
13:07 That has happened to me and I couldn't even pay, I ran out to the car and sobbed. I legit sobbed because I wanted a trim and my hair was halfway down my back and came out with hair to my ears. My friend paid while I just sobbed uncontrollably.
That haircut lady aged 10 years immediately. I avoided every hairdresser for the last like 15 years, only doing my hair for myself or asking my friend because she actually did what I asked for. Now I'm scared away from any salon for another 15 at least 😂
I went to Michigan one summer for vacation with a bunch of friends, and we went to that sand dune. My friends went all the way down, but I only went down about 20 feet and came back up…. I know I couldn’t of got back up. That was enough for me. Unfortunately, it took them a few hours to come back up and I had to sit around waiting. On a positive note… I LOVE Michigan!
The amusement park leash reminded me of the time i was wasted at the Spice Girls reunion concert and my friends banned me from standing up because i kept stumbling in my platform boots and falling on the little girl and her mother sitting in front of us. I was so embarassed the next day.
Love the waiter’s take lol. I used to wait tables to pay for my college and this happened sometimes even when you tried your best. Some people just act miserly (and have no business eating out if they don’t expect to spend $). Either way, he taught that woman a lesson that she will hopefully carry with her for the rest of her life. Treat people with respect and kindness. You never know what someone is going through. Don’t be a dick unless someone gives you a reason to be lol.
Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes are amazing. If you decide to go down to the water it is your responsibility to get yourself back up. It's like running down a really high rollercoaster, so the climb is no joke. I helped an 8 year old climb back up because their stupid parent let them go down alone & then refused to come help them.
The thing about the sand dunes sign in Michigan... that beach is only accessible from a lookout on a scenic drive. If you go down to the beach it's a very steep descent so you should be able to reasonably understand that it will be difficult to get back up... so they are warning people basically because they have to be rescued if they can't climb up. BTW, I grew up climbing those sand dunes. It was difficult when I was 7. Lol that being said... it's absolutely beautiful and totally worth it. ❤❤❤
I work as a bartender in the UK so the venue has an automatic 10% service charge (gratuity) on bills. It's completely optional and sometimes people do ask to remove it - or we offer to remove it - whenever there's issues. But what truly irks me is this: "Can you remove the service charge?" "Sure, no worries. Was everything alright?" "Oh, yeah! We had such a wonderful time! I'll be telling everyone about it. It's such a cool place!" "🙂"
Well, I don´t know how pricey the place is where you work, but sometimes (talking from personal experience) you have to save for a long time if you want to grant yourself something nice once in a long while, and then you can really be on a very tight budget, literally counting every cent. I am not trying to sound like those "no tips ever" types, I tip when I can and when I feel the server "deserves" it for whatever reason (on some days all that qualifies for a "deserve" is a nice Hello or something, not always "extraordinary service" needed 😉). Sometimes people can really only afford the food/drinks and nothing more...
That last video is a big NOPE! Don't ever mess with your man's food unless you want him going somewhere else for dinner, if you catch my drift! He's right, my goats would love everything in that salad, even the cheese!
13:33 I feel her pain. I went to Ulta to get my hair cut and it told the lady (she isn’t the usual person I go to. It’s either her coworker or my friend who is a hair stylist) and I told her that I wanted my hair to be under my cheekbone and she cut it right above. And when my hair is dry, it stops above my eyebrow making it look like I did it myself. And I told her multiple times that I like my hair curly especially my hair that is in the front, and she didn’t even curl it. Just blow dried it and sent me in my way. I still gave her a tip because I’m grateful that she was available to do my hair but it still pisses me off.
had a similar friend situation. she was always weird abt guys & had even bullied me when she suspected we liked the same guy… then later on tried to manipulate a guy into thinking poorly of me-luckily he saw right through her & he is now my husband 🥰 stopped talking to the “friend” when my husband told me all the stuff she’d done behind my back
6:21 if she was truthfully trying to test her boyfriends loyalty, why would she not inform her of the conversation she and him had with him agreeing to hook up? Or tell her friend about it at all?
Props to the BF in the first one for *immediately* informing his GF that her “friend” is a treacherous b***h. He’s a keeper.

8:00 As someone who lost a parent while in high school & worked in customer service at the time, I'm not even mad. Sometimes customers need to be reminded that the people serving them...are poeple. And emotional labor should be a 2 way street even when paying for a service.
agreed, they need to remember that waiters aren't slaves or babysitters, ugh!!
Also, she was just trying to get out of a 20 person bill.
Yep. Lost my dad in college. This kid rocks.

Win win? Lol
an acceptable way of comparing problems 😭
I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope your mom is resting peacefully. That had to be very difficult to have to deal with at that moment.
So sorry 😢 but quite an epic response to a Karen situation.

Yes, because those mimosas are the only beverages in the entire world that she could have had access to.
@@StandardGooseIt's wine mixed with juice too. It's not like you're going to taste much liquor at all if it's a good mimosa!
I thanked the flight staff when I left the plane after flying this year. There is no excuse for treating anyone like this woman did.
She reminded me of women I know who have had brain injuries.
You don't get extra brownie points for being an asshole!"
He had a habit of being a dick to servers if there were water stains on glassware or cutlery and would make digs about getting us clean replacements. I used to feel embarrassed for him and would apologise to the servers. He just never understood.
I taught my daughters that the way a man treats the servers in a restaurant or other service staff, is a good marker for how he will treat you when the gloss is off the relationship....

Definitely neurodivergent, probably autistic
Like you could see it on her face, going red with the smile. It made me smile so wide too!
It's funny because at first my dad only joked about giving $75, but then my mom and I both were like "ooo yes cmon do it, she was super nice and attentive!" and then my dad was like "heheh! alright then" and then when he wrote it and gave it to her like "this is for you" she was like "oh my gosh thank you so much!"

Shhh 🤫. There’s more and more people every year going. It’s annoying. 😝

The "fine" is because the Coast Guard has to come get you with a helicopter or boat if you get stuck. They do have more signs than the one in the video that explain that and advise people not to go down if they have any medical issues or any doubts about their ability to climb back up.
My husband took me there the day he proposed so seeing it in this video made me smile.

He isn't amazing. He just did what you should do. How sad you think it's amazing.
Switching someone’s food behind their back and then justifying it by fat-shaming them is horrible and controlling. I am a married female. I have this pretty close friend that I met on Facebook in a Star Wars fan club. We hit it off. I instantly told my husband about this relationship. Over time, he introduced me to his girlfriend, also an online relationship. I friended her. It's very simple to have relationships with people of the opposite sex without any appearance of cheating. The end.
Agree. I also have several gangs of friends. We all married with children. When we get together all become one big happy family. No affairs

Even my husband loves Charlotte and we both shout “ABSOLUTELY NOT” when we hear stupid shit

Etc… that after awhile I started replying to those questions by tearing up (thanks pregnancy hormones!) & quietly saying “… but I’m not even pregnant.”😅 despite the fact I’m 5 ‘ 3” & was still petite aside from the giant belly, folks would go white & profusely apologize & I’d scurry off looking deeply hurt…
you took one for me, I gained a lot of weight one time and customers kept rudely asking me when I am due just because my stomach was sticking out a little bit. i did not know what to reply. so kudos to you
@@anyaroz173 I can imagine how hurtful that would be! 🥺 I’ve struggled with weight my entire 39 years of life, it’s always been up & down & all over the place, and because I am otherwise rather petite, when I do put on (non-pregnancy) weight, it’s very noticeable… even 5lbs. How ANYONE could feel comfortable asking a stranger that, especially if not 100% sure, is beyond me! I likely would freeze up in that situation as well, & only think of a reply later on …

They should make a movie about it

I have a theory that walking into a salon with extra long hair infuriates stylists. Last one I went to gave me a trash cut-it's been almost a year and it's still a trash cut. I have wavy hair, heavens forbid you ask for a dry cut-the anger I got-why? Going to go back to doing my own trims, skipping the attitude and incompetence while saving $$$.
Is that really happening theere. I used to have long & super thick hair. Stylist loves to do my hair or even just touch it. They always gazing on it.

A “customer” had asked her about books on make-up and she was showing her them, making recommendations, etc. the woman then said “If these are being recommended by you, I’m not going to buy them. Your make-up is awful!”
Firstly, she was beautiful.

Watching that Grandma laugh like that warmed my heart. She’s so darn adorable! 🤣🤣🤣

That's the ENTIRE point of that video. Nobody likes being forced to eat certain foods.
I'm pretty sure that's a joke and if my boyfriend did that to me we'd just laugh about it. Some people have a sense of humour especially in a relationship. It really isn't that deep

I"m happy to hear how commited and loyal the boyfriend is to her. he let her know right away when someone was flirting.
I would have went to jail probably lol
Four feet? Was it to your ankles? When my hair was waist long and I cut it to chin length, it was like two feet.
Hopefully you saved your hair and donated it to Locks of Love or similar organization.
10:53 THE LEAST 😭😭😭. You just know that that’s the friend who always wanders off and ends up in trouble in the weirdest places 😂
That stories are funny when Charlotte show them. I am amaze by the 1st girl, how she confront this "bf", good job.
I’ve been living out of a motel for 3 weeks with 1 more to go before we can move into our new house. Your videos help keep me from going stir crazy 😂
I lived in a motel for a few months with my family before moving into our house. Hang in there. ❤
The sand dune guy is a whole ass mood 🤣 I’m kind of suspecting that the “mom just died” woman was just complaining to complain , there really wasn’t any problem
She wanted to show off to her friends
I’ve been a Michigander my entire life. I have been to Sleeping Bear Dunes many, many times. It’s absolutely gorgeous (that video really didn’t show that) and well worth a visit. I remember going all the way down the dunes as a teenager and it taking HOURS to climb back up. It really doesn’t look like it would be that bad when you’re looking at it from the top. My adult self really felt for that man that conked out climbing back up. I hope he made it 😊
I grew up in MI also. Totally agree with your comment! ❤
The sign is to tell you if your going down the dune you better be prepared to get your self back up.
Most people just enjoy the view from the top!
Hug 🫂
Sorry to hear that. You’ll get through this! Thanks for being here!
11:12 the leash was how my mother never lost me. I have no sense of direction so wise to her. Incase you were wondering how directionally challenged I am I got lost in the doctors office that I had been going to for years I was 18 at the time it was 200 hundred square feet at most.
8:30 as someone who’s mom died when she was a little girl; I approve this. 😂
Can I just say Kudos to the guy in the first story for standing right by his lady. Well done!
when you said there was an update........the amount of joy that filled my soul!
I immediately dropped to all fours and started barking at everyone.😂
No more leash! I don't remember it at all, but I still sometimes have daydreams of being a werewolf.🤔
No judgement here. You do what you gotta do to keep the kiddos alive! O__O
To be fair, that plane passenger did need to be BELTED, just not the way she meant!💥
I was thinking the same thing!
Hahahahahaha made my day
Despite being "hearing-impaired", she seemed to hear every time anyone on the plane "took the Lord's name in vain".
Well that guy telling his gf was doing her a favor by showing how terrible of a friend this person was.
He also sang in Temple of the Dog. Hunger Strike is one of my favorites.
8:45 His mother did actually die recently and it was the first thing that came to mind for him
yasss... charlotte helping me procrastinate for my history test! you go girl!!
😂😂 get yo a** to the books girl. All the best ❤
You got this!
Now that you have watched the queen of petty potatoes , you can go study now without being worried you missed her video.😊 you've got this!my fellow petty 🥔🎉🎉🎉
You go fucking study. You got this.
My dishes are washing themselves right now! Oh hold on... They don't!
13:07
That has happened to me and I couldn't even pay, I ran out to the car and sobbed.
So, when my son was young, he was a runner. Those little backpack leashes were a life savor. People looked at me weird but better safe than sorry!
That little grandma at the safari park 😂😂😂 loved it.
But what truly irks me is this:
"Can you remove the service charge?"
"Sure, no worries. Was everything alright?"
"Oh, yeah! We had such a wonderful time! I'll be telling everyone about it. It's such a cool place!"
"🙂"
I think it's fair to say that you shouldn't mess with anyone's food.
Ma'am if your man wanders off to other pastures just by playing a food trick on him, he's cheating already and has no respect for you
13:33 I feel her pain. I still gave her a tip because I’m grateful that she was available to do my hair but it still pisses me off.
if she has ignored me like that i would’ve left a review for her
had a similar friend situation. she was always weird abt guys & had even bullied me when she suspected we liked the same guy… then later on tried to manipulate a guy into thinking poorly of me-luckily he saw right through her & he is now my husband 🥰 stopped talking to the “friend” when my husband told me all the stuff she’d done behind my back
6:21 if she was truthfully trying to test her boyfriends loyalty, why would she not inform her of the conversation she and him had with him agreeing to hook up? Or tell her friend about it at all?
