your reviews are the best I have found. my chief, if not only, complaint is that reboot requirement. I will miss having my Reloop Mixon 8 be able to dual wield Djay Pro and Serato on different decks for B2B sets, too; but then again I may just keep that one when I feel like I want to switch it up.

Thank you for explaining how to use the sampler. I had already looked into it before you explained it and could not find the effect. Shortly before I saw your video I found out for myself. Many TH-camrs did give a brief explanation about the new firmware update, but that was insufficient for this feature in my opinion. Thanks again for your clear explanation.
Nice job Terry! One thing I'd like to see is engine give the option for 4 deck prep. Maybe in the next update 😆

stutter sounds good for a cheeky effect - - reminds me of 2012 for some reason (in a good way) . :) bravo to the Denon to place emphasis on sub controls and how it's mixed to effects. More producer in mind now.

Had the prime 4 right when it came out. Sold it before the updates came that added all the things that made it not worth it for me. Just ordered the 4+ today and for the LC6000 for free from Sweetwater. 700 dollar controller for free. Needless to say I’m excited.
Wish they would add scrolling wave forms to the Serato integration like they did on the XZ and RX3

hey there, I got the denon dj prime 4 and still now (started half year with dj), I alsways went with my controler to the gig, but now, they ask me to play at clubs with PIONEER 🙃... which software do I need to install and use, that my hot cues and loops I have at my hardware denon dj prime 4 will be compatibel with the pioneer? here, they mostly have pioneer cdj 2000 or 3000
How you like the jogs wheels i pretty sure rev 5 beats it as well in the croossfader?

I am in the market for this standalone. However, where should I look to create custom stickers with my band logo to cover up the Denon logos on the back of the unit. I’ve seen some other djs with those personalised stickers on their gear.

Same ports on the 4+ so it would need to use usb2VGA adapters for video, so sadly I do not think so, as most USB2VGA are garbage
Numark did a Mixstream+ then went on to release a Mixstream Pro Go. Could it me be that a more advanced gear will follow, possibly Prime 5?
Opus Quad is on notice, needs a SW update from Pioneer to stay ahead of the Prime 4+

Hey man I'm having trouble buying my first controller between the XDJ RX3 and the DENON PRIME 4+ If I plug in a USB which will give me the full experience of the software without having to download the software on a computer I wanna just plug and play to have all the software can do I know the Xdj I will have to download to get all the affects to have access to I think the Denon is plug in and it picks up everything for me. Please respond asap if possible thanks

Im officially stuck between the Rane Four & The Prime 4 Plus which will also include stems. Ahhhh 😫😩 Stems is the secret coming to us by the way .

I was told that denon is superb when it's about features, but hasn't quite got that reliability and stability that pioneer controllers/consoles have
is it the same size as the prime 4? I ask to reuse the same decksaver
When using Serato with the plus, does it have to be the latest version (with stems) or can we use 2.5 or 2.6 with it?
I just realized that at this point Denon is competing with Serato and Virtual DJ, not Pioneer standalone controllers

It works just like it did on the original prime 4. No issues

The future "secret" I believe with be a Prime 4+ exclusive, so not on any other hardware by Denon or Numark
My guess for the “new secret feature” is they will give us a daylight option so we can see the screens under the 🌞

How do they not have an update for revamped FX on x1800/1850??! I opted to get their flagship club rig over one of the standalone all in ones and I'm being punished for it.

What's up with all this one more thing from the reviewers. Either just say what it is or not mention it at all until it is ready for prime time. No one says one more thing and then let you wait weeks or a month to say what it is, makes no sense. All this EFX are nothing groundbreaking it's been on Deckadance DJ for years now. They are just implementing them from the code that they had since they took control of the Stanton and Deckadance. All the old Prime 4 owners will be crying soon. They could have given us a universal app that works on Windows, Mac and iPad OS with an updated MC 7000 and add all the other good stuff from Deckadance DJ like that flexible beat grid algorithm that is second to none the best ever made.
