Was this filmed in Cyprus? I saw that the caterers was called Crepaland Cyprus. So beautiful, I love the conductor and her way of communicating with the singers.
For all my foreign friends. This song is about a thirsty eagle. The eagle saw a fountain and immediately flew to the fountain to drink. As the eagle was landing he saw a dying tree. The eagle stood on top of the tree and asked it "Whose is this fountain and doesn't let you to drink water?" (the tree was near by the fountain and it was dying from thirst). The tree answered "I can't drink water from the fountain because it is guarded by the God of Love (Cupid-Έρωτας in Greek) and he doesn't let anyone to drink because a young couple met for the first time at the fountain as they both wanted to quench their thirst and they fell in love. But they broke apart and now Cupid doesn't let anyone to drink water until the young couple meet again at the fountain and be one again"
One of my favorite community theater experiences was my director leading the cast through the "rainstorm" as a centering/teamwork exercise just before opening night. :-)
There is something magical about Greek women. I enjoyed this song a lot. The director has that spark in her eyes, i wish i was as happy as her when i do my art. Makes me think if i chose the right thing to do in life...
Екатерина Журавлёва Art is performative. When a choir sings, every member must be searching, digging inside themselves for that spark. It's in everyone, but you can't always see it. After all, if we are always burning, will we not come to a point when we burn out? Do not doubt yourself ♡♡♡

Art is my passion but for years nothing I created fulfilled me and I think there are several reasons for it. For starters I was in a bad place mentally and emotionally because I had lost my father, so I wasn't in a position to enjoy anything. The chemistry of my brain was all over the place and for a very long time I couldn't visualize shapes and compositions in my mind very well- and it was very indicative in my art, so I didn't feel good about it. Another thing is that I kept doing what I already knew so I grew tired of it and it stiffled my progress. It certainly didn't help that I approached my art with the mindset of improving, not having fun. So my advise is, maybe your problem isn't your art. Maybe there's something else that's dragging you down and you need to deal with that first. If you chose art that means something drew you to it in the first place, so I doubt it was the wrong choice. If everything else is fine and it's your art itself, then try doing new things with it. If you are a musician, try a different instrument. If you are a painter like me, try a different medium. For me that's what it took and getting unstuck in my art and enjoying it again helped me cope with my mental and emotional issues. It sounds stupid to people when I say that what helped me get over my father's death are watercolors, but it's true. Then there's a lot of pressure for artists to become masters in their field in order for their art to be seen as "legitimate" so a lot of us start treating our art less like something we are passionate about and more like a skill. My advise is isolate yourself in a room and sing, dance, draw, paint your heart out. The end result doesn't matter. Just remind yourself what made you love art in the first place.

It's beautiful because from it's inception, every letter has a meaning towards the gods (life, Earth) hence every letter of the alphabet is an actual word. Every word is based on life & follows a root back to its origin. This language is Life & it describes what is going on & every experience we have.

Greek language itself sounds (for me sure) like a music... Greek songs are beautiful! And voices in choir above are awesome, also girls are beautiful :)
You girls MUST sing in future "The Silmarillion" movie. Your voices are like the Music of the Ainur, of which the world was made, in Tolkien's cosmogony. Love from Poland.
I cried listening to this song and so did my sister when I showed her. When we looked up the lyrics we cried again. Thank you for sharing and connecting through powerful vibrations. What a beautiful and creative way of expression. Thank you all again!
I can't understand any single words,Still I cryed. Thank you for your passions, sharing the results of spending time, with admire and respect from japan.
Its amazing how the performance, the harmony of the voices and sound can carry the vibes of the lyrics in a non intellectual way... That right there is the power of music as an art form.

English has thousands of Greek words. Its a mix between German, Latin and Greek. You use Greek words everyday if you are an English speaker. Spanish also has Greek.
A few facts: Music actually started in ancient Greek towns and cities there are many words in music theory with greek roots. Also greek has always been a melodic language. In some islands natives still kind of sing when they speak and the reason why ancient greek has many accents in writing and many letters that now sound the same. For example υ, η, ι, ει, οι all now make the sound e bc the language has evolved but back then they were pronouced differently and were made to represent the musicality in the speech.

Greek is a really beautiful language, greets from Germany❤️
It's beautiful because from it's inception, every letter has a meaning towards the gods (life, Earth) hence every letter of the alphabet is an actual word. Every word is based on life & follows a root back to its origin. This language is Life & it describes what is going on & every experience we have.

Its amazing how the performance, the harmony of the voices and sound can carry the vibes of the lyrics in a non intellectual way... That right there is the power of music as an art form.
This song is about a thirsty eagle. The eagle saw a fountain and immediately flew to the fountain to drink.
As the eagle was landing he saw a dying tree. The eagle stood on top of the tree and asked it:
"Whose is this fountain and doesn't let you to drink water?" (the tree was near by the fountain and it was dying from thirst).
The tree answered "I can't drink water from the fountain because it is guarded by the God of Love (Cupid - Έρωτας in Greek) and he doesn't let anyone to drink because a young couple met for the first time at the fountain as they both wanted to quench their thirst and they fell in love.
But they broke apart and now Cupid doesn't let anyone to drink water until the young couple meet again at the fountain and be one again"
TIP. Listen to it without watching the video first, and on the second watch, just be AMAZED.

What a peaceful and inspiring music. The woman who is leading the choir fascinated me, she seems both light and powerful 🌠
Such a beautiful performance ! The choir director more beautiful than any Hollywood actress !

Autorskie polskie tłumaczenie:
Nad górą Ki, ach, słowo dam,
nad Kiku, szczytem pięknym tak
nad Kiku, szczytem pięknym tak
powolnym tchem opada mgła.
Tam orzeł - spójrz na puklerz chmur -
nad wzgórzem kreśli skrzydłem krąg
nad wzgórzem kreśli skrzydłem krąg
nad wzgórzem, żeby napić się.
I naraz swój obniża lot:
to sosna pośród nagich skał
to sosna pośród nagich skał;
starego drzewa strzeże czas.
A pod nią korzeń - prawda to -
spragniony, chciałby napić się
spragniony, chciałby napić się
ze źródła zimnej wody tej.
Na jej gałęzi, słowo dam,
co nad skałami zwiesza się
co nad skałami zwiesza się
siadł orzeł i zapytał się:
Kto czuwa nad pieczęcią wód,
gdzie strażnik, co staranie ma
gdzie strażnik, co staranie ma
lecz innym wody nie chce dać?
To Eros skale pieczęć dał
by miłość nie tryskała z niej
by miłość nie tryskała z niej,
bo czeka, aż nastanie dzień
gdy wróci w końcu, słowo dam,
gdy wróci zza cienistych gór
gdy ścichnie już ponury wiatr,
powróci piękna dziewczyna.
W ramiona padną sobie znów
panna i ten, co czeka jej
panna i ten, co czeka jej,
nadzieję tląc ostatnim tchem.
I znów zakwitną szczyty gór,
i w niebo razem wzniosą pieśń
i w niebo razem wzniosą pieśń
ze źródła mogąc napić się.

I thought it was a middle eastern language. Wow, I didn't knew Greek sounded so beautiful ❤️.
English has thousands of Greek words. Its a mix between German, Latin and Greek. You use Greek words everyday if you are an English speaker.
Spanish also has Greek.
A few facts:
Music actually started in ancient Greek towns and cities there are many words in music theory with greek roots.
